We had Ryan as a server. Excellent service. Very efficient and also personable. Food was great! He made feel welcome and very entertaining.

Average pretty much sums this Applebee’s location up. Average food, service and drinks. It Does not seem like there is that little extra effort put in by the staff to make the customers experience that much more enjoyable. This location would not be in my top ten restaurants to try in Duluth.

Used to love this place. Still okay but we were charged for soda refills then charged for to go boxes. These 2 things brought our bill up by 13 dollars.

San Marcos, CA
Host wanted to seat us by the door. We asked for another location. He sat three of us in a booth for two. We asked the waitress if we could sit in a larger booth. We expected two more in our party. She said sure. The place had many open tables and booths. However, the employees kept stopping by commenting on us being in the booth. Three employees continued to be rude so we told our two others not to bother. We left a penny tip. We will never eat at any of these restaurants. Very rude.

Casa Grande, AZ
Out sight-​seeing in the area, stopped by around 1:30 PM for lunch. Place was busy, but got a booth to sit right away. Wife had the Clubhouse Grille & the House Salad. The chicken was sliced over a different Applebees that had a big chicken breast on it. I had the Clubhouse Grille and Shrimp Scampi Linguine. Good food. Great waitress, Colleen B.

Not my favorite place. Okay drinks, but the food just never seems fresh. If I wanted to make food from a microwave I would just do it myself. The staff is awesome! Super nice. That’s the only part I really enjoy. Happy hour is fun… But spend your money elsewhere!

I got my entrée first, then I got my appetizer with no plates to share, then my drink I order 15 min ago, but then I got my plates for my appetizer. Lol pull it together.

D and W had Black and Blue burgers — they said they were good. I tried the soup and sandwich special. French onion soup was very good — lots of cheese. The roast beef sandwich was one of the best roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had. A little greasy — do they always have to fry the bread instead of toasting it?

I always like going to applebees. Good food and they have great happy hour specials. Love the $ 5 Burger and Brew special on Mondays.

If Duluth is your «big city» you likely have been to this Applebee’s in the Miller Hill Mall. It’s a perfectly serviceable place, fairly agreeable staff, always edible food, good cold beer, so don’t be afraid to make a rest stop here. Just always remember it’s an Applebee’s and you won’t be disappointed.

To be honest, I am not at all a fan of Applebees, but have been to the restaurants many times in my life. This particular location, located right in the mall, is way better than any of the other Applebees I’ve been too. All of the ones in the Twin Cities area all suck! I mean that. I’ve never gotten good service or good food. I must point out though, this location has always been pretty consistent. I’ve been here a lot with my family, after a day of shopping and what not. The restaurant is usually pretty busy, so there almost always is a wait. The service is OK. I mean, not to sound incredibly rude or anything, but it is Applebees. There really isn’t anything that is super amazing about the place, and I’m sure it isn’t hard to please the majority of the people that eat there on a daily basis. The food has always been OK, for Applebees standards, nothing really to complain about. at least what you order is hot and seems fresh!
