Bar Chix

I’d give Bar Chix 3 ½ stars but that isn’t a Unilocal option. What I did like about my recent Bar Chix experience is the location was excellent for me. Bar Chix is located in my neck of the woods so, not having to get on the highway is always a plus in my book. However, for those of you traveling from afar you might be a little disappointed or feel like Bar Chix is not worthy of a second visit. First, let me say I’m not a hater and I love Trina Braxton! The ambience is cool, drink sizes were decent but the food menu options need a little work. The music was meh and seemed to be a playlist being played from an iPhone. The place overall was inviting however, it resembles going to your friends house and hosting ladies night in her basement. If your thinking, what’s wrong with feeling like you’re at your friends house? Think, at your friends house you would not be paying to eat and drink. Bar Chix gives me the feel of «rushed work.» Yes, I do watch the show so I do know Trina was getting a little impatient but now that its open there’s still work to be done. I think on some nights for a couple of hours a live band may do the place some justice and give it life. The menu needs tweaking especially the oxtails! If there is anyway to rescue the oxtails from the BBQ sauce and stew them down on their own it would taste so much better. Last night, we hosted our Sip N Chat Crew Ladies Night at Bar Chix and we had a good time but it was obvious, the place needs to be given a little more love from within.

I had the WORST experience ever at a restaurant tonight at Bar Chix. Horrible! My waitress Kia is no way suited to be a waitress. It took Fifteen minutes before anyone came to my table to get a beverage order. After she came I ordered their dulce de leche cheesecake. The cake was very thinly sliced and maybe two inches wide. I took one bite out of it and noticed a sour milk taste. I told my waitress about it and she said, «well, you kind of ate the whole thing. My manager isn’t going to take this off.» I replied, «I took one bite of the cake.» She walks off and doesn’t come back to the table. My boyfriend went and paid the full bill and we left. Is that really how they’re treating their paying customers?! I will NEVER return there! Never!!! No manager came to see my concern, the waitress never returned, and the overall customer service experience was terrible! Kia you suck!

Loved it … From the minute I walked in great ambience comfortable relaxing enjoyable place. Food was great. Drinks my favorite. And Trina even made us her own to die for Long Island for my sister and OUCH ! Yep will definite be back .but just don’t take my word for it… Try oaxtail… meatball and Mac cheese my favorite. It’s cool, nice atmosphere but the music is a killer, need regular hot wings on menu, drinks kinda pricey which is surprising cause the food is cheaper … This place might need to be in buckhead area but over all it’s cool if you just wanna chill, not the turn up spot of that’s what your looking for

Service was perfect. Food was delicious. Had the oxtails and grits along with the bacon donut holes. YUM. Will def. Be back with friends!

This is a fantastic spot. The service was great and the food beyond expectations. You have to try the Collard Green egg rolls and the Truffle Mac & Cheese. The drinks can’t be missed either. My wife swears by the Purple People Eater.

My experience was one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time. The food is delicious the drinks are awesome. If you’re in the area you «must» check this place out. It’s super clean the staff was very nice, and I must say I think I may have to go back again this weekend.
Ok so I had to go back this time with my son, for yet another bar chix experience. Tonight I had lamb chops, oxtails, collard green spring rolls, truffle Mac and cheese, puffed asparagus omg I’m stuffed but it was all soooooo delicious just yummy. Oh I can’t forget I had the signature drink it was strawberry cheese cake omg it was awesome!!!
What’s usually the crust on the cheese cake was on the rim of the glass, I was in heaven.
You just can’t go wrong at this spot the chef is really really good.
Jessica was my server she was just the nicest ask for her. Another great experience
