The service was quick and the server was nice, and the restaurant was clean. Too bad the food was average at best. Don’t come here for the pizza, which is mediocre at best, unless you want slightly burnt crust and ¾ of the pizza to be sauce. The meatball appetizer was actually the star of the show, so if you come here, order that, but skip on the pizza.

The recent renovations are a very nice touch. Very nice that they have vegan options and the food is generally good. My main complaint is the prices are a little steep for what you get, especially for craft beer, as both the draft and bottled beers are quite high. As a beer snob I don’t mind paying a little extra for the better beers but this place borders on ridiculous.
The manager is very cheerful and prompt. Other staff is nice too.

Mellow Mushroom has some of the best pizza out there in my opinion. I love pizza of all kinds so I am not biased to any type of crust/style.
There is something about their dough and sauce that I just love. And their calzones are equally as good. And the pretzels are also so very good. The Greek salad with their house dressing never fails either.
This location is a pretty typical Mellow Mushroom. Service is good. Can be slow at times just like I seem to find at other locations. Not super slow or unfriendly… let’s just call it «relaxed» at times.
It is clean and very kid friendly. Fair prices and great food.
If I had to pick just one pizza place around, The Shroom would be in the running for sure.

Great pizza and subs! Service is friendly and the beer is always cold. They have a nice selection of drafts and a few bottles. There’s even wine for the wino’s and a mixed drinks as well. Stop in for lunch, dinner or a drink. The owner is super friendly!

Since the remodel, we’ve eaten here several times and have been very satisfied with our experience. The servers have great attitudes and the place looks great! This is a huge improvement over our past visits and it makes me happy that I don’t hate coming here anymore. Keep up the good work.

I came here for a quick lunch since it is close to my office. The new renovations look great– unfortunately the pizza was lacking. I was very disappointed with my slice of pizza. A slice of cheese pizza is very difficult to mess up… The slice tasted and looked like it was from a day old pizza with new cheese and re toasted in the oven. Very disappointing.

Gonna give 5 stars for the effort. Mellow mushroom has the «stuff» for sure. They just did a massive overhaul and are trying to take it to the next level. The owner has been in here working the last 3 times we’ve been in. If you’ve forgotten they’re here it’s worth re visiting. The beer is better than it was and the ambience is too. Food at mellow is always superior. No longer order at the counter. It’s a full service mellow like most of the others. Time for a visit! I work near by and will begin frequenting because they get it.

I would definitely recommend the mega veggie! Great pizza but a little on the expensive side.
The place itself is not great but average so I suggest take out only. I will def come back again for more.

Very average pizza place. Nothing too special here.
The food was okay and it was a quick easy stop for lunch.
The cashier seemed like he may not have been completely there that day, the manager was really nice, not much staff was working during lunch time so couldn’t really get a full gauge on them.
Didn’t seem like they were too busy at lunch time, so you won’t have to worry about fighting for seats here.
Just okay overall, I’ll probably try out some of the other pizza places in the area before coming back here.

Good food, casual and family friendly atmosphere. The dough is made from natural spring water and is absolutely addicting in their crust and pretzels… Yes that’s right, they have pretzels!

A favorite among my coworkers. Good lunch specials that include a salad. Don’t be fooled by the allure of the house dressing. There is nothing comforting or good about it. Pick the Greek or oil and vinegar. Hot sandwiches are fantastic.

Extremely noisy, couldn’t have a conversation at my table because it sounded like a jackhammer was being used 5 feet from us. Pizza was mediocre for a Mellow Mushroom. Not planning to come back to this location

It’s a small place so when the rush hits it will be packed to the gills and hard to get a table. The staff have always been friendly to me even when they are getting their butts kicked. Food has always been good. The owner operator, Dave, is always a trip, full of energy and eager to please his guests, not to mention he has a cool accent!

Worst Greek salad ever
The tomatoes were shriveled because they had been refrigerated like they were sliced yesterday & put in the fridge
Cucumbers were old also. Almost looked as they had been frozen
Not many olives or peppers. Iceberg lettuce no flavor but that Isuzu bad I usually order it with Spring mix
Cross this location off my list

Very Rude. no good beer. And the cook use the same gloves to sweep the floor an pulled the pizza out and cut it then took it to the Table… I will never come back here

I love Mellow Mushroom and think their pizza and crust is some of the best around. I think their menu at this location might be different from others (I used to go to the one at the Durham Athletic Park quite often when I lived in NC), but overall it’s good. The kids french bread pizza is delicious and you get a lot of food for $ 5.
I’m a big fan of their Greek salad and I think their small pizza is a great size for two people to share for lunch.

We called our order in ahead of time so we could just walk in and be ready to eat. We stood at the counter for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. There were 6 people working and hardly anyone in the restaurant.
We finally get service and the pizza comes to the table and is vegan not gluten free as we had ordered. The manager doesn’t apologize for the mistake, basically accuses us of ordering the wrong thing, tells us it will be 25 minutes to make the right pizza, and when my husband looks back in the kitchen they are making a Huge deal out of remaking our pizza. Not coming back. Too many other places to get pizza without the attitude.
However, after they cleared out a bit, they delivered a delicious gluten free pizza and talked with us a bit. Fixed up the problem pretty well.

Not a fan.
Spent $ 100 on 4 different pizzas and there was not one that I liked. Only experienced it once but that’s all it takes to check me off the list. The crust is just not my taste. The combinations are just not my style. We were feeding eight adult mouths and not a single one said anything good. I guess that about sums it up.
