Stopped by on a day trip, Saturday afternoon in the middle of an event. The store was moderately busy, but the counter didn’t have many customers — which is why I was quite put off when I wasn’t greeted upon entry or acknowledged upon exit. I was also completely ignored when I went right up to the counter(ie, essentially in the staff’s faces) to check out the store’s surprisingly ample dice selection. Speaking of selection: this place hit the mark even for me — and I’m lucky enough to have stories like Dreamhaven and The Source available back home. M: tG, Munchkin, Heroclix, tabletop miniature gaming, and D&D were well-represented, with sprinkles of the new and obscure. Prices were reasonable across the board, especially on dice. I found Yu-Gi-Oh! Heroclix and two card games by the register that piqued my interest. It’s too bad that the service was so unwelcoming, as it’s the only reason I didn’t purchase anything.
