Ever since the new owner took over, this place has been going down hill. Service for take out is OK, but for takeout, the new pricing is way out of line for what you get Way to high, and they say they are using better Ingredients to justify the increases, but that is just a cop out as the food Isn’t even as good as before. This from a long time customer. They don’t even have an updated menu showing the new pricing. Sorry, But I have to be honest, I can not recommend this place to anyone, all because of ownership change.

The business has had a change of ownership and there is a huge difference in the quality of the meals. I probably won’t go back.

Ordered delivery from here — and look, we know we’re not in California anymore. The fried rice: pretty darn good! I mean, full of MSG, but that’s fine. The egg drop soup had giant chunks of chicken(weird, but okay) and no veggies in it(weird, but okay). Now, the chow mein. Oh, the chow mein. So it arrived looking a bit like soup and we wondered if the noodles were at the bottom. So we dug through the sludge. Nope, no noodles. So we called, thinking we got the wrong box. The woman who answered informed my roommate that the noodles were in a plastic bag in the box. She promptly hung up on us. We looked. Huh. There was a bag with crispy noodle-like croutony things that one might top a Chinese Chicken Salad with, but nothing resembling a carb-a-licious noodle. My roommate attempted putting the noodles in the glob of chicken/water-chestnut/celery goop. Which wound up being revolting. So…unless you are from the area and are expecting this sort of thing when you order chow mein… maybe just don’t.

It can be hit or miss, depending on the dish. I have had the best luck(consistency of quality) with their lo mien noodle, chow fun noodle, fried rice, chicken wings with oyster sauce, walnut shrimp, lemon/sesame chicken, and pork dishes. The vegetables are fresh, but over-cooked and limp. I don’t find their food greasy or leave you feeling«heavy» like other Chinese places. I stay away from their beef dishes. The meat quality and flavor has not been consistently good so I don’t bother to gamble if I’m going to like it that night. Great service and fast and convenient delivery(if you’re in their area). *One of the very few places that serve food late: until 10pm on Sunday, 11 pm Mon — Thurs, and until Midnight on Fri & Sat.
