Probably the worst Chinese food eaten. Flavor is bland, service is not helpful. I don’t recommend it to any Chinese food lovers.

I found a dead cooked roach in my garlic chicken. Not coming back. Manager was nice and said he was sorry and that something bugs get in, but since it was cooked in the meal it was too much for me

too oily, expensive, and disgusting, what an embarrassment to the Chinese cuisine.

This place is awful. Sorry, it’s just absolutely awful. The Peking duck was obviously pieces from a frozen package(four legs) that were then heated up with some poor version of a sauce that was too salty and vinegary. It left a horrible aftertaste. The little dishes that came with it were a bizarre hodgepodge of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. By far the worst Peking duck I have ever had. Huge disappointment.

This place is not what it used to be. It used to be one of my to go spots years ago with the family. They had great meat dishes as well as the popular noodle dishes(I.e. Jjambong and Jjajangmyun) However, the quality of the food has been on a steady decline as well as the portion sizes. The service is also probably one of the worst I’ve experienced. Servers not giving you attention and not fulfilling their basic responsibilities such as refilling water and providing you with napkins. I was going to give this place 3 stars just because of the history I have with it, however today was the final straw. I ordered a Mongolian Beef which comes out to roughly $ 13(still pricey), but the cashier swiped my card for a $ 67 transaction. When asked what we could do he glossed over the issue and did not even try to take real blame for the incident. I asked for cash back, but he told me that there’s nothing they could do. What a load of BS. Never coming back here again, if I were you I’d spare myself the headache as well.

My first time at Fung Mei today and I’m satisfied and would definitely go back! We ordered: — dumplings(I forgot which ones but I’m sure all of them are good) — kampungi(super good) — jjajjamyun(my dad and I each ordered one and we wish we had shared with having eaten the appetizers above) — jjangpong(I thought the soup kinda tasted like tacos which isn’t a bad thing! Just not what I’m used to. My Korean mom loved it though!)

Absolutely amazing Peking Duck I’ve had while visiting this establishment. From a glance it didn’t look very different your typical modern Chinese restaurant but I’m very glad we had a chance to try their Peking Duck. They cut up the duck in the kitchen so they’re plated quite pleasantly while its brought out. The meat was one of the juiciest duck I’ve had with plenty of the fatty juices being absorbed by the buns. I also really like their choice of using thicker steamed buns rather than the more traditional thinner wraps. The sauce was quite amazing as well as in moderation its definitely a nice way to blend in all the ingredients into an amazing duck sandwich. By far the soup they made from the duck bones($ 5 extra charge) is really flavorful. Gnawing on meat bones and pulling the skins off has never been more fun for me. with the soup I think an order of duck is definitely able to feed a family of 3 – 4 easily. While I underestimated the portion of the duck, the fried rice and stirred fried string beans I got on the sides weren’t too bad as well. But honestly I think their duck stands out by leaps and bounds that its definitely what I’m having again in the future when we have a chance to visit again. Service was quite decent since it wasn’t a busy night the food came out pretty quickly. I think most of the servers are either Korean or Chinese so sometimes you might have to get someone that speaks Mandarin if you like some help ordering. Decors were quite clean and modern to appeal to a broader range of crowds I’m sure. Definitely 5 stars for the Peking Ducks alone, otherwise I think its a pretty decent Northern Chinese(Shandong) cuisine restaurant. Very different from the Cantonese cuisine Golden House across the street indeed.

The bestest ever!!! Hot and sour soup is #1 I’ve had in a long time before we started coming here a little more than 5 yrs ago. Very very nice and kid friendly wait staff. Orange chicken is the awesome! Everything I’ve tried from here has never let me down! Clean environment, clean restrooms.

Large, spacious Taiwanese-Korean restaurant. The mapo tofu and salt and pepper shrimp were decent… nothing memorable or special. Wasn’t a big fan of the cold Roast Beef with Five Different Flavors. Really wanted to try their green beans or pea leafs, but they didn’t have either. The service was attentive, but they did try to up-sell and convince us to order more.

I will say this place has excellent service not usually found in this type of restaurant. The workers were friendly and helpful. They weren’t that attentive once we got the food. I want to say it’s b/c of a BDay party but it wasn’t that large. Maybe it was b/c we only ordered a pork dumplings($ 5) and Cha Chiang Mein($ 8). We had to flag down a random waiter both times we needed something. As for the food, the dumplings weren’t special, just normal. The noodles were disappointing. It was very bland. It was the first time I had cha chaing and it didn’t taste like it. The place is pretty large and has a private room as well as a bar with TVs when you enter. It’s pretty new inside and well kept. When I asked for a raddish refill it came with some other food stain on it. I really hope it was just a splash. Overall, I wasn’t impressed.

So many better Korean-Chinese places to choose from. The jjajjangmyun has the very thin watery sauce that makes the dish feel like soup– happens when there’s not enough paste in the sauce or if the noodles weren’t drained properly). A HUGE turn off for me whenever I eat this dish. The only thing that I feel is worth eating here is the tangsooyuk(deep fried pork in a sweet and tangy sauce).

I’ve been craving jja jjang myun for weeks now and I finally got to eat some today! Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by a host and seated. The lighting inside is pretty dim and there’s plenty of seating, round table and booth. Our waitress was really funny and nice. He immediately took my order — fried dumpling and jja jjang myun. The food came out within ten minutes. The dumplings were pretty good. Only the bottoms were fried, wish the entire dumpling was crispy. I opted for the minced pork jja jjang myun. The noodles were done perfectly and the sauce was great. I pretty much ate everything …

I was looking for a decent korean style chinese restaurant and one of my friends recommended this place. I went there for a late lunch around 3pm, there was still some ppl. We ordered seafood lomein(Zzajangmen), a chicken fried rice and sweet & sour pork. It took about 20mins to get the fried rice and sweet & sour pork, and the lomein came out after almost half of food we got was already gone. And it seems like they don’t offer you the side dishes unless you are korean. Well I am korean but don’t look like one lol and the other table with korean ppl received side dishes(yellow daikon, onion, kimchi & cucumber) but they didn’t give us nothing so I asked for it then they brought it to the table. The fried rice is pretty good. You can taste the fire a lil bit. Sweet & sour pork is also decent, a little bit sour than usual. The lomein is a very big serving but way too salty. If it wasn’t that salty it could been a decent lomein. The server wasn’t that friendly, they do their job to bring you the food that’s about it. Haven’t got a refill on my drink either. It is not a bad place to go for a korean chinese food, but they definitely need to upgrade their service.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. well anyways, here it is: The jjajangmyun(blackbean paste with minced veggies and beef with noodles) was decent. I don’t like the fact that the noodles always taste like it’s over cooked. Bleh! The blackbean paste is too dry and thick. also I always end up feeling too full to eat anything else. The side dishes were pickled radish, raw onions(sliced) served with blackbean paste and kimchi. I kind of felt sick to the stomach when my waiter put his thumb inside the kimchi dish while trying to hold it. that’s pretty gross. So I didn’t touch it. Would you want to eat something if you saw YOUR waiter’s thumb or finger inside the dish of your meal or side dish? I didn’t think so! Their tangsuyook was pretty good(deep fried pork with potato starch sauce and vegetables). It’s tangy and sweet. Very very tasty when dipped in soy sauce and vinegar.

Food stuck on plate. Workers didn’t seem to care… Other than that, I usually come to Fung Mei to eat Jjajangmyun(blackbean paste with noodles) and tangsuyook(deep fried pork with sweet sauce and vegetables). Sometimes I’ll get Jjambong(spicy seafood noodles). The food here is pretty good. We got complimentary dumplings one time, which was nice. It was pretty tasty. Whenever I eat Jjajangmyun here, I get a stomach-ache. I’m not sure if it’s because of the MSG or because I overate. You won’t be disappointed with the food here. The waiters and waitresses are usually attentive, and if not, just wave your hands and they’ll come over. My favorite part of dining here is the fortune cookies at the end. I just read my fortune and leave the cookies because by this time, my belly is too full. There are pretty fishes in the tanks to look at while waiting for your food. In one of the tanks, they have«kissing» fishes that have big lips and kiss each other every now and then. Overall, good food, good service, nice fishies.

I would give 3.5 stars We came here after reading all the reviews and decided to give this place a try. We came on a sunday lunch. Not many people, just three other tables. Place seems pretty clean, service were nice through out our whole experience. However most of dishes we tried to order were no longer offered(they do not offer any sichuan dishes anymore) We ordered the boiled dumpling, zhajiang noodle(not recommended), red braised tofu. The dumplings were fresh and tasted good. Zhajing noodle is too runny for our taste and it is just overall not impressive. The braised tofu is decent. Overall the food is ok. Given the area, i am not sure if i will come back. There are just too many better place around for this one to stand out!
