Yes won my heart again the broth is incomparable to any other phở joints around! The waiters are extremely warming and take care of you

Heard this was the place for phở and had to check it out. Had the Vietnamese egg rolls and the number 5 phở. The egg rolls arrived quickly and were pretty tasty. The phở… amazing! You can tell the broth was cooked slowly. I’ll be back!

The DaiLoirean of phở. I come here when I need to get a blast of my past. The phở is good. Portions are good and always hits the spot. Problem is I’m always hungover when I’m here. I never get to fully enjoy it. If only I could go back in time and change what I did last night…

There and back again with one of our top three phở places in Atlanta. This time, I wanted to try Phở Dai Loi’s beef stew, bo kho. It’s very similar to most Asian beef stews, filled with chunks of carrot and beef tendon. Truthfully, I prefer this a lot more than western beef stew mostly because of the tendon. Somehow that ligament just traps in the flavor of the soup a little better than sheer meat. Phở bo kho comes in three sizes at Phở Dai Loi #3: medium, large, and extra large. An extra-large is definitely shareable, but I ordered a medium because I planned on not sharing and finishing it all! Muahaha. Here’s the rundown: Phở Bo Kho(with meatballs) PROS –good amount of meat shank and tendon as well as carrots –soup was super flavorful and rich, not watered down: I have had some watered down phở before and it tasted like it just had salt added to kick up the flavor but no «beef» heartiness. –soup was also not overly salty or super seasoned: this usually happens when it’s the end of the day and you have gotten the bottom of the pot. I hate getting«the bottom of the pot» because it’s full of the dregs and meat strands. –nice amount of noodle: not too much where all the soup gets soaked up after five minutes of the dish arriving at the table, but not too little where you’re not full. CONS –not enough meatballs: I ordered this as an addition to my bo kho, but I only found three pieces. My heart was definitely sad that day. All in all though, it was a good beef stew. I’d definitely go back again. Truth be told, all the Phở Dai Loi-s in the Atlanta suburbs are spot on. PDL #2 is probably my favorite followed with #3. Lee’s Bakery though comes in top for their combination egg noodle. So yummy. Not to mention, it’s pretty perfect for this upcoming winter season!

The first time I went to this place, I thought«Dang! This place is super sketchy looking». But don’t let the looks change your mind :) The phở broth is very flavorful and good. Portions could be a bit bigger, but this is still my favorite phở place to eat at!

They barely speak English in this place but the food is tasty. Overall I would return if i was in the neighborhood but no need for a special trip because the phở was so fantastic. This is a typical mid range Vietnamese restaurant with no Bahn Mi sandwiches which is disappointing.

I thought the phở was very good – especially the broth. I always get phở ga, and I kinda which they had lemongrass chicken phở as plain chicken phở can get boring. Overall, this place is good, fast, and clean.

My tummy told me we were getting some vietnamese food the other day, so I decided to stop by Phở Dai Loi. We ordered fried shrimp wraps that my sister claims to love here. However, she told me it was weird that the order came out within a few minutes. Sure enough… when we took a bite of it… we knew why. The fried shrimp wraps must have been made/cancelled from a previous customer because it was stone cold and did not taste good at all. I brought this to the attention of my server and he put in an order for another one. I ordered their Bun Bo Hue without the coagulated pork blood(I tried it and did not like it. haha) I haven’t had this soup in such a long time so I was pretty excited. For those of you who don’t know what Bun Bo Hue is, it is a vietnamese soup with a spicy lemongrass flavor and vermicelli noodles. It generally comes with coagulated pork blood! So… ask your server to leave it out if you’re not into that. The broth wasn’t bad compared to what I’ve had in the past. I wish the broth was a little more flavorful as it tasted a tad bit watered down. About 10 minutes after finishing my soup, the fried shrimp wraps finally came out. Nom Nom. finger-burning hot fried shrimp wraps… Now this is what we were waiting for… It was sooo much better than the cold one they tried giving us earlier. As you can see, this appetizer takes a super long time to come out in general. Make sure you put in your order quickly in the beginning so you can enjoy your appetizer AFTER your meal. =p

This is my absolute fav phở place. Everything is always fresh. I’ve tried couple different phở places, but their broth jus tastes the best to me and every seasoning is available right there at the table, so you don’t have to ask for anything extra. Sirracha, hoisin, chili flakes and soy sauce. It would be nice if the staff knew better English though, just for first timers may be that don’t even know about phở or how to eat it

One of the more authentic and«clean» phở places around pleasant hill. You’re taking a risk when you go somewhere else. Cannot get enough of their bun rieu and phở. Haven’t tried anything else besides their bubble tea but trust me when I say you’d rather go a mile down to get better quality for the same price. Come here often with family and have always left satisfied!

Phở is pretty much part of the American culture now. I remember them mentioning it once in an episode of Modern Family and I thought that was pretty cool. Phở Dai Loi 3 is one of the few good phở places in the Duluth area and there are tons of options to choose from that are located on Pleasant Hill road itself. This place is my opinion is slightly above the competition. The menu here has tons of options that would make a Vietnamese person proud. There’s way more than just phở here, its okay to google the items you don’t know if you are feeling adventurous. The soup broth is very savory and to the liking of my taste palate. There’s not much else to say about this place, but I always leave pretty satisfied. My Recommendations: –Bun Bo Hue –Phở Tai Bo Vien with the raw steak on the side. –Avocado smoothie.

Soo I came here bc I want a go to «perfect» phở place. Something with Perfect broth, perfect taste broth without adding stuff to it bc I always eat my phở plain or with salt ONLY. So I’m usually pretty critical on the phở. Now to the review. I ordered a small phở combo, combo bun bowl, and spring rolls. Spring roll: yummy and delicious! Great size for the price! I always love it when the sauce is more peanut butter base than hoisin sauce. No more than $ 3 Bun noodles: this review might be a lil unfair bc I couldn’t eat anymore after the phở and spring roll so I had to box it Togo. Sucks bc it wasn’t really that fresh when I got to it but anyways on my experience with the dish. Noodles were a little hard I can say this bc I did try a little of it in the restaurant, the meat was seasoned pretty deliciously! Egg roll was cut up into 5 pieces and 2 pieces of shrimp! Overall great value around $ 9 – 10 Phở: I am sadden to say I was pretty disappointed! All my friends said this is the best phở ever and I honestly thought it was just ok… Maybe not even as good as Saigon cafes phở… Sad! But I mean I guess it was average… :( I will come back and give it another chance.

I stopped by for a quick take out of two orders of fresh spring rolls. It was quick and easy. The spring rolls are super huge and the sauce was perfect!!! The spring rolls were so huge that I actually should have gotten just one order. I just moved to Duluth. I used to live really close to the Buford Hwy Dai Loi, which I eventually stopped going to because of the pigeons and service experience. But! I will definitely be back to this location to try out the rest of the menu.

One of the better phở locations in Duluth when I’m craving phở especially after a night out with friends to help sober up. Phở is decent. Their Bun is alright. Nothing too spectacular. Their Ca goi is always soggy no matter how you order it. Ive had it on a Com tam plate and its still soggy. They need to change up their prepping style. And, service is always fast. Quick to sit you down and get your order in and out of the kitchen in about like 10 minutes. Overall, its a decent place. Cant complain too much. I’d recommend this place to anyone in the area that’s craving phở.

This location is probably the least busy out of the chain, which is why I love coming here. I always get sat even before I can open the door all the way, and food comes out at lightning speed. I’ve never seen the place more than half way filled. I think most of their business come from take-out. Service is incredibly fast, but somehow food never fails to be incredible. Their effeciency has never sacrificed the quality of their food. I find it funny that sometimes they’ll just stand their after handing over the menus… They’re always more than willing to make tweaks in the dishes as well. I have a sensitivity to bean sprouts, and they’re more than happy to wrap new spring rolls without them. The setting is simple and has a really homey feel. It sort of feels like coming for dinner at your aunt or grandma’s house. The employees and owners are usually huddled around the check-out counter talking, eating, or cleaning something, which makes it easy to get their attention. I never mind their chatter since I don’t understand Vietnamese at all besides a few words and phrases. I actually like the background noise. They also play vietnamese songs as a final touch to their ambience. My favorites are the bun bo hue, bo kho, phở dac biet, the marinated beef chunks, and any of the rice combo dishes. You can order a small cup of the phở broth on the side with any rice dishes, too! Great for when you want a rice or vermicelli dish, but a small part of you want some soup as well.

The Duluth version of Phở Dail Loi! Dai Loi is and always has been my go-to for phở, at least at the Chamblee location and I’m happy that there’s one in the Duluth area now — so convenient! The menu is the same as that in Chamblee — you’ve got your apps, phos, buns, coms, Vietnamese drinks, etc. I always order the goi cuon whenever I do order an appetizer — can’t go wrong with summer rolls! As my main entrée, my go to nowadays is the phở with tripe and eye round steak. Parents always get a medium Phở Tai(just eye round beef steak). The soup is always hot and flavorful and probably one of the most if not best bowls of phở I’ve had. I also regularly order the Bun Bo Hue — lemongrass/spicy soup base with vermicelli noodles. This was a bit too salty last night when I had it, but other than that, the flavor is good. I’ve had various drinks at the other location but cannot comment on the ones here since I’ve yet to have any, but I’m sure it’s of the same quality. Minus 1 star because some worker in the back cat called at me when I was leaving the restroom — rude and uncomfortable. Other than that, service is relatively good.

As soon as I entered the establishment, I saw three employees standing there ready to seat me. My friends were already there so their readiness wasn’t needed. Lol. The inside was a tad small. Parking was plentiful since this location was in a large strip full of businesses. Although I did not have food here, I’m sure the food was good. Phở Dai Loi’s reputation hopefully follows them to this location. Everyone had a different menu item(buon, bun rue, phở), and everyone seemed like they enjoyed their food. The coffee bubble tea was pretty good as they followed my instructions to add an extra shot of coffee. Yum.

I love food, I love people, I love new experiences, but today’s experience was one I would rather not repeat. THESCENE I tend to overdo everything, have any of you ever noticed that? I decided yesterday I wanted to get out and finally try phở. After all, from California to New York I see review after review praising this Vietnamese dish. So, in true Double R fashion, I made a tour out of it. THEFOOD * PHOTAINAM(small) $ 6.50 | 3 Stars It’s my third bowl of phở in 24 hours from three different restaurants and this was the least satisfying of the three. The broth was not as tasty, but I’m learning to add other ingredients to doctor the flavor. Today I relied on salt more than anything else. I’m glad this was not my first taste experience, because I might have never tried another bowl again. Not that it was horrible, just wasn’t anything special. * COMCHIENDUONGCHAU $ 10 | 4.5 Stars Now THIS was special — Shrimp & Vietnamese Sausage Fried Rice combo. In addition I asked for a fried egg(they provided two). There were a fragrance of flavors that my pallet was completely unfamiliar with, but not in a bad way. I enjoyed this rice dish very much and only required a sprinkle of salt and pepper to bring it to taste. SERVICE Here is where it all went sideways. Although I was greeted and seated immediately, the staff was not particularly helpful. I was given a menu and almost immediately there was a server standing over me holding a pen & pad waiting to take my order. I had a few questions since I’m still new to this food, but none of those questions really seemed to get answered. So I asked for a few more minutes to decide. My server literally came back in less than 1 minute, which wasn’t enough time for me to read through a few Unilocal reviews, so I asked for a few minutes more. This time she gave me more time than I needed and I had to flag her down after about 10 minutes to get her back to my table. The meal came out quickly(rice took longer than the phở) and other than the super limey water they brought me when I was seated, my server never came to my table again. When I had finished all I could, I waited for my server to return, but she never did. Annoyed with waiting, after about 15 minutes I stood up and flagged my server down, which wasn’t easy since her glance never seemed to come my way. I asked for container(S) for my food and she brought me one(only suitable for the rice). So I asked if I could also have a container for phở, which seemed to draw a «duh» out of her and she quickly retrieved a proper container. Still she did not bring me a bill for my total so I walked up to the cashier/manager and asked what the procedure is for checking out. Long story short, I paid my bill, still left a 20% tip and got the heck out of there. FINALTHOUGHTS In truth, I assume this is the way they seem to operate with everyone. I never saw the staff return to ANYONE’S table after they delivered their food. People here seem to just get up, walk to the cashier, pay and leave. Maybe I’m just too high maintenance, but I didn’t find the experience here to be very pleasant or professional. I sort of regret leaving a tip at all based on the performance of service I received. I’ve had better service at all-you-can-eat buffets. The rice was delicious, the phở was good, but with such great places as Lotus Vietnamese just down the road, I will likely never return here.
