OMG half a banh mi sandwich and a bowl of phở for $ 7.75!!! Do I even have to say anything else?! And it was soooo good. I’ve had phở at several Atlanta restaurants and would say this place is my second favorite. Banh mi was so good I ordered 6 to take home. The prices are ridiculous. The Vietnamese iced coffee is perfect and cheaper than most places($ 2.50). Waitresses were friendly. My only complaint is they need to play a little background music! Kinda weird.

I am not going to butcher the spelling of the different foods here but from experience EVERYTHING is amazing. The sandwiches are great, soup is great… but the egg rolls… oh my god. AMAZING. Prices are great but make sure you at least order $ 10 worth of stuff and save it for dinner as they wont accept CC lower than that. I seriously love this place and don’t want to tell my co workers about it for fear that they will come and ruin my lunch sanctuary.

Great little café/restaurant with practically the best banh mi! I never had good experiences with modern looking Asian restaurants, but trusted they had good food from reviews. Came in 40 minutes before closing so we were one of the last ones there, but the food came out pretty quick. Let me just say it again but their banh mi was great(and I’m deprived in Orlando). +Grilled Pork Banh Mi: The only thing I have anything to say about. The baguette was perfect, it had that crisp that isn’t too hard but still airy when you bite into it. The pork wasn’t too dry and was a bit saucy still. Ugh, it was perf. +Hu Tieu Hoac Mi Kho: Mom usually orders this in Tampa, even the piece squid that came on it was super tender. Broth was tasty and she ate the entire bowl happily. +Beef Phở +Bun Bo Hue Obviously I’m deprived down in Tampa/Orlando, but this place is great and would come here all the time if I lived around here.

I came here after seeing great reviews and reading a food article that praised this place. When I came, I understood why so many people love it. The place was located at a small run-down looking plaza so I was skeptical, but once you try their food you’ll be coming back for more. My favorite is the BBQ pork bahn mi, which I’ve had numerous times since finding this place. The price is extremely cheap, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is phenomenal. Make sure to try this place, and bring cash because there is a credit card minimum of $ 10.

So good! I love the sandwiches they have here, the egg and combo sandwiches are my favorite. My husband loves the Phở they have and I also love the rice platters they have. You must try if you have not gone, amazing! And the service is always great!

Omg just had a Passion Fruit Smoothie with extra boba… DELICIOUS!!! It was very reasonable pricing and location was very clean and quick service. The young lady taking our order was very sweet and helpful. Mom ordered a sandwich and she loved it. I definitely will be back to try the PHO and mango smoothie. They also have a great deal of buy 5 sandwiches and get 1 free!!! You can take out or dine in. Loved it! Thanks!

so I was craving some banh mi sandwiches and I was around pleasant hill area, found this place and yesssss satisfied my craving :) I ordered Lee’s combo and bbq pork, came out crispy and fresh. even my grandma was satisfied with her meal, since she only goes to one place for her sandwiches. my new favorite spot. I’m trying the boba tea next, hopefully that’s delicious too !

Ive now eaten there the last 5 weekends in a row. My favorite so far is the chicken banh mi. Shredded chicken on awesome bread with cilantro, alittle jalopena and some pickled vegies. All for the ridiculously cheap price of 3:25 to go or 3:45 to eat there. The bbq pork it’s also quite tasty fYI though a little bit sweet. I’ve also tried the lemongrass chicken over noodles dish… Man was that yummy yummy. This is absolutely the best place I have found to eat in the Atlanta area if you’re on any kind of budget… That means me. I have to also save the young ladies who work the front counter are very sweet and very helpful. I have to also say that the yummy bread they use you can buy 3 loaves for a dollar and take it home and it makes great sandwich bread. I have a feeling I’m going to be eating there a lot for many years to come.

They have the best Vietnamese Sandwich ever!!! So glad they open a second chain restaurant near by! They still offer the same deal of «get 5 get one free» and they finally take Cards, not just cash! Y’all stop by during your lunch break because I know I am! :)

The LC(Lee’s Combo) #1 with the beef noodle soup and the banh mi dac biet is my go-to at Lee’s. If you like all the tendon and tripe that typically comes with a Phở Dac Biet, you can ask for that on the side and they’ll give you a decent amount for a small fee. The price for the combo can’t be beat for the amount of food you get! The food comes out pretty quickly and I’ve always been able to get a table even if it’s pretty busy inside. I never carry cash with me so credit card minimums aren’t my favorite(Lee’s has a $ 10 cc minimum) but I’ll usually get a banh mi to go for $ 3.25 and the minimum is no longer an issue. And it becomes my lunch the next day!

I’ve never been to the original Lee’s bakery location before, so I don’t have an accurate comparisons; however, I was very pleased with my banh mi. I’m very picky about banh mi. I cannot find a place better than Quoc Huong, but this place is a close second. In my opinion, it’s really important to have a good butter(along with all the other goodies of course). Lee’s definitely uses a good butter. I ordered my banh mi thit nuong with no veggies, and man they definitely loaded it up with meat! Plus, their thit nuong is the red meat(my favorite) and not the brown meat. I’ll definitely frequent this place since it’s close-by. They also have a half banh mi+phở combo for like $ 8!

The BBQ pork banh mi sandwiches at Lee’s Bakery are the best I’ve ever had; they have a take out special: five sandwiches = 1 free banh mi. I also tried the phở, and it was okay. The prices here are great!

I’m giving Lee’s Bakery Duluth a two-star rating but this is only temporary until my next visit. I was very disappointed in my banh mi dac diet(banh mi special) when I tried it yesterday. The banh mi was dry as can be and very stale. The filling was as perfect as the Buford Hwy location. It’s the bagguette that disapointed me. I know this is not their typical sandwich that is why I am giving them a second chance to fix this mistake. Day old bread is OK to serve if it is toasted. However, my banh mi was not toasted at all. What happened to fresh baked baguettes every day? Cold and dried bread is unacceptable. Please fix this because I am one of the many, many patrons who loves and supports Lee’s Bakery since day one. I was ecstatic that they opened a second location in Gwinnett(closer to home). I hate to see it fail. I’m still a loyal customer to Lee’s but please no more stale bread!

Wow, I’m going to sound like a scrooge with all the positive reviews but here I am with honesty. I don’t just give lower reviews and not explain myself. I can vouch for it if you read my other reviews. I was so excited to hear about Lee’s Bakery having a second location and at Pleasant Hill. It’s conveniently located in the same Assi shopping plaza. It’s a few doors from Super Grand Buffet. I used to go to kickboxing cardio class at Choe’s HapKiDo. Not only that, I used to go to Huong Lan Banh Mi. Guess what, Lee’s Bakery now replaced Huong Lan Banh Mi. Or is it just a name change? I was just reading my older review on Huong Lan Banh Mi and I wrote about it being part of Lee’s Bakery. I think it’s just a name change to let everyone know that they are affiliated with Lee’s Bakery. Alright, lemme say that this place is NOTHING like Lee’s Bakery on Buford Hwy. If you have gone to the Buford Hwy location, you will see lots of baked goods. I would travel over there just for the chocolate croissants. There are no baked goods on Pleasant Hill. What a disappointment. Just regular food items like every other Vietnamese restaurants. Honestly, to me, they just did a name change. My friends ordered the combination banh mi and said they were very dry and only had three piees of meat on it, which tasted more like a bologna sandwich. They laughed and said the only good thing is that they give you enough veggies to make a salad lol. Overall, big disappointment. I would just stick it out and travel to Buford Hwy for Lee’s or just get the baked goods(small variety, not as much as Lee’s) at No 1 Hong Kong Bakery. PS — my friends live in Winder and they felt like it was a waste of their time traveling there, they were excited that it was closer but felt that going to Buford Hwy would’ve made their tummmies happier UPDATE Lee’s Bakery on Buford Hwy no longer sell the baked goodies. If you want strawberry, chocolate, cream cheese, or apple croissants, go to No 1 Hong Kong Bakery inside Hong Kong Supermarket!

Quiet little second location next to assi. I keep hearing about Lees Bakery and their banh mi sandwiches so of course this is the first place I go after landing. I just got the basic pork bbq sandwich and it was good. I think what separates this place from a lot of banh mi places I have tried is the ingredients are fresh, the sauce„ the bbq pork is richer, and they don’t skimp on filling the sandwich up. A solid banh mi. Prices are about the same as everywhere else I have gone to. Next time I probably will try the phở also. Oh, and you can buy cheap fresh bread here! Good, recommend, will be back.

I have always felt the Phở served at Lee’s Bakery is the best quality in town. Lee’s Phở has a more robust flavor in comparison to other phở joints and they don’t skimp on the meat. Their Banh Mi sandwiches are equally good quality. The bread and toppings are always exceptionally fresh and plentiful. We added«extra meat» to our sandwiches this time and it helps a lot. This location is still newly opened and I found it thanks to Unilocaler Praveen’s review. We drove past several other bustling phở joints recently to discover this new version of Lee’s. We have enjoyed Lee’s food at their Buford Hwy location in the past but this location is not near as crowded and the layout of the dining room is more sensible. I’m posting this but don’t let anyone know about this Lee’s(except Praveen), I want to keep this location to myself.

I have been a regular customer to Lee’s Bakery in Buford highway. It’s hard to not like the eatery — food is very cheap, you can get a full Banh Mi and big bowl of Phở for just under $ 7 bucks! But it’s not just about the price, the food is tasty and good as well. So it’s not really surprising that Lee’s bakery has become de facto name for Vietnamese food, especially for their Banh Mi. Riding on that Success, they have opened their new location in city of Duluth. And my partner and I decided to make a visit. Lee’a bakery-Duluth is located in the pleasant hill rd, at the strip mall that also houses Assi supermarket and grand buffet. In fact, it’s just few stores away from the grand buffet(and also next complex from Golden House). The restaurant/store is smaller than their buford hwy location, but given they have only opened doors for business on 09/27/2014, the place is very clean and new. It’s basically a rectangular room, with the order counter at the end, then followed by the kitchen. There were about 10 new tables and chairs, if you decide to dine-in. I like this layout better than buford hwy one, which gets congested with so many people waiting for their take out orders. And the banh mi is assembled inside the kitchen here instead of the counter at buford hwy location. There were no other customers when entered and we were welcomed by the owner/manager himself. We ordered our favorites for take out order — Barbecue pork & shredded chicken Banh mis. Also we have ordered, Taro & honey dew Slush. we had asked for boba as well, but they didn’t have boba which was understandable given that they had just opened previous week. The owner told us that they are intentionally not advertising about this new location yet — they wanted to make sure everything is setup fine before receiving big crowds. Banh mi was good, as usual and so was slush. We already knew that, we have been to Lee’s bakery so many times before. In fact, the bread is baked at their buford hwy location and brought over here every morning. You can buy this bread — 3 for $ 1 and 10 for $ 3. They also have previous day bread 10 for $ 1! That’s a very good deal — you may not get the same deal once this location gets busy! Check their Buford hwy page for detailed review on the food items. Overall, I feel that the new location is a step up from the not so clean buford hwy location. And it’s not loud and noisy as well, at least not for now.
