Didn’t have much expectations for this place but it turned out to be better than expected Lots of food to chose from. A few things that were good that I remember was the fried chicken, sirloin steak, the salad bar, and the Cole slaw. The fried chicken was fried nicely and very juicy. And the sirloin steak was delicious and not dry. Service could improve a little. The waitress was a bit slow refilling our drinks and taking away our plates. But overall a good place for the price of $ 11.99 for all you can eat

This Golden Corral location is alright. I love Golden Corral so whenever I visit one, I expect top notch service and food because that’s what I was accustomed to when I ate at these buffets. I normally have an appetite for their meatloaf or pot roast but I saw a commercial for all you can eat prime rib from Friday through Sunday, so I knew I had to make it and try their steak out. I don’t like that I couldn’t really get the piece I wanted and I don’t like to waste food so I ate the darker piece and kept quiet. There wasn’t any meatloaf, so I was kind of bummed. I really, really wanted some. Being pregnant, when I want it — I want it. No if, ands or buts about it! I almost felt like a little kid about to have a tantrum because of it but I went on my merry way around the buffet tables grabbing what looked appealing. I ended up going crazy on their marshmallows and rice crispy treats. I didn’t really get overwhelmed with food like I wanted to when I usually go to buffets but maybe they had an off say. My favorite location around Atlanta is still in Conyers. They’re always top notch food and service. Plus, they always have meatloaf when I go. hehe

I typically do not like buffets yet I have been here on multiple occasions with friends and family. Overall I have been very satisfied with my experiences. A lot of the meats were cooked to order and the food was over all very fresh. There were a few things I did not care for, but the option to get something new allowed me to discover other things I did like. I would recommend coming here with a large group or a family, probably not a date night place though.

Inconsiderate workers! Worst experience ever! Ok so here is what happened: My family was trying to find a table that seated 5 people. It’s a Sunday night and it’s packed. We walked around and we were luckly(or should I really say unlucky) found a table where the family just left and there were dirty dishes. So obviously we stood near the table so another party won’t take it. My 72 year old Dad was tired from walking around finding a table. So he sat down. The rest of stood because we knew they need room to clean when they got a chance. Then a younger waitress probably new said, «You can’t sit there because the tables are dirty». She was probably new and just enforcing a policy that makes sense when everyone sits down and actually makes the job difficult for a waitress to effectively clean at table, not her fault. But another waitress who is assigned to our table that seemed more experiences said the same thing. «You can’t sit there because the tables are dirty.» Really think about this: your complaining to about 72 year old man sitting at a dirty table. From there on, there was a battle between an old man and a 30 – 40 year old waitress. I understand they have rules and policies for a reason when they make sense but just use your freakin common sense. Does it really matter that an old tired man seating at 1 seat out of 6 seat actually hinders you from cleaning a table. You have 5 other positions to do it from. You don’t have to do right behind my dad. It was bad and even worst when I was trying to calm my Dad and the waitress padded my back in understand thinking I was on her side. Hell no. You guys shouldn’t be complaining about a customer sitting at a table full of dirty dishes. You should being saying«oh, I’ll be right there to clear it up or sorry for the dirty dishes.» Either way both sides should have not let it escalated so quickly but it’s really up to the employees to understand that«Yes, it’s very busy and it’s been a long day but I shouldn’t single an old man for wanting to sit even if it’s full of dirty dishes.» Seriously!?!What the heck!?! I still can’t wrap my head around it. He can’t sit there. Why? The table is dirty. He knows he doesn’t mind sitting next to dirty dishes. He is tired. What do you guys not understand?! Clean at the other 5 spots of the 6. Why are you guys making such a big deal about it. Why do you have the time to tell him he can’t sit there because the table is dirty then actually cleaning the table. The other 4 members of the family are waiting patiently for you guys to be free and clear the table. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??? I’m so confused as why this even an issue ???

I like this restaurant overall! A lot to choose from and food appeared to be fresh for a buffet. My family goes a once a month and its great to be able to get the amounts you actually wish to eat. It is a little pricey but I suppose it was reasonable.

I must take a few moments to express how much the folks at the Golden Corral restaurant located on Satellite Blvd. in Duluth, Georgia mean to me. I am a regular customer who absolutely LOVES the Chicken & Gravy entrée. Because the food is SOGOOD at this location, it’s very seldom they have any leftover items. The chicken and gravy dish is made using remaining chicken mixed with the wonderful gravy. I have been calling EVERYDAY for two weeks — along with visiting this location — hoping that it’s in stock. Let me tell you what happened. The staff at this location are exceptional people. The managers and the entire staff are incredible people. The managers — «Francisco» in particular, along with«Cash»(that’s the manager’s name), listened«Allyssa»(one of the cashiers) and«Tasha»(another cashier). The girls reminded them how often I have been calling trying to get my favorite dish. Guess what the management did. I called Tuesday afternoon(March 24) and Tasha told me that unfortunately, again, the chicken & gravy dish was NOT on the buffet. I asked to speak to the manager because I was promised by Allyssa(who spoke with Francisco the day before) that it would be there. I ended up speaking with Cash who told me they MADEMYFAVORITEDISH — and HIDIT — just for ME. Yep. They put aside some chicken and made up the chicken and gravy — and put it aside — just for ME. I couldn’t believe they went through that much trouble — just for one customer. I got there and acquired my chicken and gravy. I went back later that evening and got some of that Teriyaki salmon(the special right now) and told Allyssa that I got my chicken & gravy earlier today(as it’s usually served during lunch). Sure enough, as I was telling her how much I appreciated everything they all had done for me, I busted out crying. As a single mom on a very restricted budget, I don’t get to feel«special» –ever. They took the time to make me feel important. God bless them all.

The food here is mediocre, but the dessert bar is very nice with a wide variety of selections. My family and I used to come every Monday, but stopped due to everyones busy schedules. Haven’t been there in several months, but when coming back today was surprised by very rude employees. The cashiers were absolutely rude. Did not greet us with the slightest hello or smile, just a straight out, «What you wanna drink» And when we asked her if she had sweet tea, she did not even reply. SHe just turned to me, «Drink.» Not even in a questionable form.

I’m giving this place 3 stars instead of 4 because the cashier at the front was really rude. Our server was very sweet though. The food was pretty good for a buffet — it exceeded my low expectations. Oh and the banana pudding was fantastic, so give that a try.

Despite all the reviews below me, my visit was pleasant. It was actually very clean inside(I went on a Monday for dinner). The foods were fully stocked and our server was attentive throughout our meal. She deserved a tip because she kept clearing our dirty dishes and refilled our drinks. Great customer service. The only quirks I have about this place is that they only have the chocolate fountain but no caramel or white one like the other locations. I also had a problem with the ice cream area. I had to flag someone down to get strawberry for my son because the self serve vanilla was broken or out. The desserts are very limited here, very small. However, I had a good experience here. Will most likely be coming back when I am starving to death.

This specific Golden Corral is very clean, fresh, friendly staff… compared to my previous review of the one in Duluth. Chicken rotisserie, fried, bourbon street, Asian, and liver for people who like it. Probably about 50 – 60 salad options. Over all it was a good experience. I would suggest coming right at 12:00 pm, that’s when their food is the most fresh… but then the restaurant is very crowded. Dessert favorites: bread pudding, banana pudding. Our server only came once or twice to check on us(4 people) but it didn’t bother me specifically. I would come back to this branch.

Definitely on point. The place was clean, the food was good and fresh, but the service came short. I mean, he was friendly enough to remove the plates in front of us, but other than that, there truly isnt anything spectacular about it. Anyways, we got ‘lucky’ because we came in at after 3 and was able to get some steak by 4… I was really looking forward to it, and was slightly disappointed because they gave me a super raw steak that became very inedible … but hey, i only paid for lunch, so I should actually be very ashamed of myself for even getting some steaks… hehe … other than that, it was pretty good :)

Yuck. For $ 10 a head I would think this place would be cleaner. We went on a Friday night, it was busy but not too packed. Queue line was empty, so we got seated quickly and our waitress was nice. However, the place itself is filthy! The floors are sticky and covered in various stains. The food wasn’t hot or fresh, and all the counters were encrusted with spilt food. And the kids… don’t even get me started. Running and screaming everywhere and sticking their hands in the food. This place also has a very weird odor. Slightly reminiscent of a McDonald’s PlayPlace? Gross. Never again.

You have not fully experienced America until you’ve been boxed out at the buffet by a ten year old – who weighs as much as you.

The place looks old but the food is good for a buffet. Lots of variety, salads, desserts, Mexican food, southern comfort food and soups.

I used to not want to come back to this Golden Corral because of a bad case of food poisoning years ago. But I have given them a few chances in the recent year and am pretty glad. The have changed up their menu to keep up with the competition so its not the same boring selection over and over again. When we went for dinner, it happened to be Asian night, they had orange glazed pork(kinda like a sweet sour pork with orange sauce). Since we came in late and I am trying to cut down on unnecessary sugar and salt in my diet I didn’t try these. The service was adequate, but the norm.

First off, it’s just a buffet. I wasn’t expecting anything dramatic or memorable from the meal. Family was in town, we didn’t feel like cooking and we all wanted different food. First mistake was going on a Sunday evening at 6pm. The place was packed to start with. We waited in the queue for about 15 minutes. Once we finally got our drinks, paid, and sat down, the disaster began. Kids… I can’t stress enough how much kids will ruin a dining experience no matter where you go. More so in a buffet where they’re running around unsupervised and sticking their hands in everything without any sense of common decency or respect. One child actually wound up burning their fingers on something at the bar because a parent wasn’t paying a bit of attention to them. Despite the children being pests, in which I bit my tongue on several occasions, the rest of the buffet was typical. An atrocious disaster of spoons mixed into several different trays, salad items scattered about like a raccoon had been let loose on the bar, and plates fresh out of the washer still sticky and food bits on them. The silverware was just as filthy. Our table had a nice coat of grease/sticky mess on it to the point where I had to take one of the water glasses and pour some out on the table and wipe it down with a handful of napkins. The only reason I did this is because I saw the filthy rag they were using to wipe down the tables, obviously a den of diseased food remnants. I don’t recall who our waitress was, because there were 3 that were stopping by the whole time trying desperately to refill our drinks(at a table of 5) and they all failed miserably. One even overheard me being quite snarky voicing my opinions on something that she had no business commenting on, and decided to throw her religious two cents in directed at me. Not your place, not at all young lady. I can understand the volume of people and food that goes through this place, but I can’t fathom the lack of cleanliness that was evident throughout. Even the restrooms looked like a slaughterhouse(my mom walked into the ladies and immediately did an about-face). The food was tolerable for what it’s worth, but I don’t think I’ll be going back to this particular location again.

Came by here with the boyfriend and his family and I love this place! I always leave feeling stuffed as ever! The food is tasty and I love that they have cook to order options like steak and seafood. They have an awesome salad bar! I love that they offer ham as one of the meat choices, because, TRUSTME when I say that ham on your salad is the BEST thing ever! Lol, they don’t offer turkey which is a downer. The fondue option is cool, yet, can go for a little improvement. They could keep the strawberries a little more chilled than what they do with them currently. They’re somewhat room temperature, and when eating chocolate covered strawberries, having barely cold strawberries aren’t as delicious as cold strawberries. Overall, I’m a fan! I always come here with my boyfriend and his dad since his dad loves eating here, too! «Help yourself to happiness» :D

Buffet for $ 10. There are a lot of choices and they have added more food selections into their buffet bars/tables. They’ve added a fondue fountain. They’ve added Cajun sections and also a Chinese food section. You have a choice of ice cream from the machine or the branded ice cream served from the ice cream tub. Our server was very attentive. I will be coming back if I am craving an American buffet. This is the only American style buffet that I will go to.
