Hair In Style

I went to see Joseph on the recommendation of a friend after another stylist at a different salon cut my hair poorly. Jeeny washed my hair. Jeeny and Alisha were super friendly and chatted with me while Joseph went to work on my hair! He was all business and took his time to get it just right.
I just went today for the second time and had a new style cut. Alisha washed it and then Joseph cut it. After he cut it, Alisha blow dried it and then Joseph again took some time perfecting it (thinning out some layers, etc.) before styling it. They are a great team and I am really happy with my hair!
I am super picky about my haircuts… A stylist that really knows what they are doing and takes the time to make sure that your hair is just right makes a huge difference! I will definitely go back.

Look for Alisha. She looks young but seems to have reached mastery in what she does. She’s attentive and doesn’t bs.

I have had so many mediocre experiences with various hair salons that I dreaded getting a haircut. But after coming here today, I am looking forward to booking my next appointment!
The best part about this salon is that everyone is very warm. I don’t speak Korean but there was no weirdness or language barrier at all, which makes Hair In Style the exception out of all the Asian salons I’ve been to. The two ladies who work here are friendly without being overbearing (I hate small talk). They instantly remembered my friend who referred me when I mentioned her name– I super appreciate that they try to engage with all of their clients!
Joseph is an expert. I had a simple request, 3−4in trim with long layers, and he did exactly that with the skill, speed and precision that only someone highly experienced with a deep knowledge of hair can do. I really feel like Joseph is an artist, and he overall seems like a cool guy. Also, I loved that at the end of the session, my hair was curled (at the ends) instead of straightened, which how stylists usually do it.
I walked out of Hair In Style feeling happy and 100% satisfied with my hair. This was the most positive haircut experience I’ve ever had and I encourage you to come visit too!

I’ve been going to this salon for three years now. I was never a one-​stylist kind of girl until I met the Joseph and the lovely staff at Hair In Style. Jeeny and Alisha are fabulous and make you feel like family. And Joseph is amazing, he’s sweet and knowledgeable, and professional. He knows so much about hair, and qualities of different types of hair.
He is GREAT at what he does and makes sure you get the look you are going for and makes it work for your face and attributes. I have long hair overly processed hair and Joseph will always try his best to keep my hair long and healthy when I ask for a different hair treatment or even a trim.
My friends and I love this place to death (we all have different texture and types of hair too), we all live 2+ hours away and all travel just to get our hair taken care by him, Jeeny, and Alisha. I live four hours away and still make the trip every few months. This place is worth it. I can’t trust anyone with my hair the way I trust Joseph. I’m telling you, his hairstyling hands are wondrous and will make you look beautiful. Just go in there and ask him what he thinks would work for your face and let him do his magic. I mean look at his freaking hair?! It’s beautiful! Everyone’s hair in there is gorgeous, how much more credibility do you need?!
And everyone there is so hard working! Sometimes it’ll get pretty busy and Joseph will have to cut and style everyone’s hair in the same time frame, (sometimes pushing his own lunch back) but he still does an amazing job with everyone!
Anytime I’ve wanted something that would make me look ridiculous, Joseph would always give me his valuable opinion of why it wouldn’t work for me — which I love! He’s saved me from looking like a hot mess on numerous occasions.
If you think Joseph is rude, you’re delusional and most likely have an attitude problem yourself.

I have been going to see Joseph for over 7 years now and he is wonderful! I recently just got a straight perm and absolutely love it. He has done cuts, curly perms, straight perms, color, conditioning treatments and all have come out great.
Joseph is very sincere & kind and really cares about how your hair comes out. He only uses the best products and you can totally tell.
I have been to a lot of other salons and can honestly say Joseph is the BEST… I would highly suggest/​recommend him to anyone.

I went to this place the other day to get my haircut and he argued and yelled at me for not having enough knowledge on my hair and style. wth? I went there to hear professional’s recommendation and change up the style/​mood, but when I left that place I was SUPER UPSET.

I mistook another salon for this place and got a terribly botched cut. The other salon (hair talk on peachtree industrial) did not cut the hair like my photo at all. I was on the verge of tears! So I quickly made an appointment to fix my cut with Joseph on the same day.
I was so happy with how he fixed it! He is very professional and takes his time cutting hair. He definitely knows what he’s doing. He even gave me a bit of knowledge in hair cutting, how everyone’s hair cut should complement the shape of their face and head shape. It seems like he used to cut Korean celebrities’ hair before he relocated to Atlanta.
Definitely recommend this place :) It seems it’s about $ 30 – 35 for a cut here. Not a bad price considering I used to pay $ 80 at Van Michael’s! I uploaded a photo of the cut Joseph did for me. :D

Joseph, the hair designer is very good at haircuts. I’ve been seeing him for haircuts and color for more than two years since I came to Atlanta. He knows how to draw the best hair cut for each individual.
The salon has nice and warm atmosphere.
One thing is that they are a little pricey, but compared to the good service and output, I am very satisfied. They occcasionally send out coupons for their customers. Joseph speaks English and all of the staffs do too.
I recommend this place.
