Jimmy John’s

Hello,
This place is far from freaky fast! All deliveries have taken 30 — 45 minutes. Any other location I’ve ever ordered from has only taken about 15 — 20 minutes. Very disappointed by this since they pride themselves as a fast delivery option. May have to stop eating here due to these long delivery times. Past order took so long they gave me a full refund. Which still hasn’t shown up in my account.

I ordered from Jimmy John’s and yes they were quick. However, the food was not that good. I’m not sure I would order from them again.

I have been ordering from this location for 3 years now! Best service ever! Sadly today is my last order ! Number 12 — beach club best sandwich! Will miss your food!

I’ve order here a few times in the last month as I work literally 2 buildings down the street. The food is typically ok, soggy but ok. Sometimes not so much… What I find a bit crazy is the delivery. Your company prides itself on speedy and efficient service and has a ton of crazy commercials emphasizing it. Yet I’ve had multiple deliveries take 50+ minutes, with not even a simple sorry it’s busy. If I wanted to wait an hour for a cold meal I’d order pizza.
Thanks but no thanks JJ. I’m done trying to come up with acceptable excuses for long waits and unhappy employees.

Cannot express how much I love me some Jimmy John’s! And this is my favorite location! The employees are all really friendly and of course the service is «freaky fast». I come here a lot and my sandwich is never short of amazing. The quality of their sandwiches is great. Ingredients are always very fresh. Their bread is nice and soft (much softer than say Publix’s bread). My favorite is the Beach Club cause anything with avocado and I’m sold! I love the music they play there as well — mostly alternative rock. I just find JJ’s to be in a whole other league when it comes to subs.

I don’t believe I’ve written a review before; however, the service provided by this Jimmy John’s location, at this time, was a nightmare. I placed a delivery order online to the Jimmy John’s located 2.4 miles away for (2) subs and (1) bag of jalapeño chips. The subs on the order were:

Not only did they come late (over 30 minutes), they forgot my extra Packets of Mayo and Mustard, forgot the chips, and got the sub order ALL wrong!
What I received were:
(1) #3 TOTALLY TUNA®
LACKED:
–Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
–Italian Vinaigrette
(1) The J.J. Gargantuan®
Didn’t receive my extra portions on:
–cucumber
–peppers
–onions
–tomatoes
AND THEY ADDED EXTRA VINAIGRETTE
The sub was dripping wet with vinaigrette!
Therefore, I called back to alert them of this mishap and get the order re-​sent out, this time with NO vinaigrette on The J.J. Gargantuan®. They informed me that the order will arrive in 15 minutes and requested I returned The J.J. Gargantuan®. I didn’t mind, but found it quite odd.
Luckily, the SECOND order did arrived in 15 minutes. They got the #3 TOTALLY TUNA® correct and delivered the chips this time; however, The J.J. Gargantuan® STILL had vinaigrette AND also forgotten my extra toppings.
Needless to say, I’m extremely dissatisfied.

My order was NOT honored. However, at least Will (the person I spoke to) seemed nice. Furthermore, they got the order half correct on the second attempt. Therefore instead of zero stars, I give them a solid ONE.

Best customer service ever. Whenever i call for deliver they knows what i want.
Keep it up the good work.

Seriously, it’s amazing how quickly they deliver. My office is about 2 miles away and they seem to get the food over sometimes in under 10 minutes — that’s amazing!
Try the beach club or the vegetarian — I’m sure they’re all great!

Consistent is the best word to describe jimmy johns. Every time you walk in and order you will always receive the same delicious sandwich you ordered previously. The cost of each sandwich is very reasonable. Their signature sandwich bread is what makes Jimmy John’s so unique. They pride themselves on being very quick and they certainly deliver this promise. I have never waited more than 5 minutes after ordering. You can even call in or order for delivery for further convienience. The dining atmosphere is also fun as they have intersting signs and pictures all around the shop. The employees are typically happy and enthusastic. Although not the most authentic sandwich shop, still one of my top favorites.

This location is hit or miss. This is the 2^nd time in a row that they’ve gotten my delivery order wrong… even after repeating the order back to me correctly. They also seem to be skimping on meat… I had to tear off 2.5 inches of plain bread with mayo slathered over it but no other toppings. It’s decent in a pinch and you just have to hope you enjoy what they slap on the bread for you.

Not a fan. This is a place if you want a sandwich that is not made to your specific needs. You don’t have a lot of options for toppings. I was not impressed, sandwiches are pretty bland

I do not get the obsession with Jimmy Johns. Several people in my office order from them regularly so I finally gave in one day. Their sub choices are very minimal, but they do allow for things like additional meat or cheese and you can add various vegetables and condiments so you can get more of a variety that way but they don’t have many choices when it comes to bread. As they advertise, they are very fast. They got to the office in about 10 minutes. The smell of fresh onions everytime they deliver is overwhelming. Thankfully I don’t mind onions.
Honestly a Publix sub is better than Jimmy Johns so I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again. There are way more exciting food choices out there, especially in Duluth.

I love jimmy johns! I sure do. I came here like more than 4 time in a week. Lunch, dinner or when I am hungry. I only order same when I come here so staff know what I eats.
They are super fast with order. After 15 sec finishing a order the food is already out. Yes really fast!
But they did not get a 5 star because of being fast order they always forget the «Extra». I ask them for extra ham or mayo they charge for the price but never got a extra.
But I will come again and make sure i do got an extra.

It’s your standard Jimmy John’s, they’ll have your sandwich made before they hand you a receipt.
Fresh and delicious as they always are. The shop was spotelss and clean.

I like Jimmy John’s and had them quite often in college.
This location is small and right next to Chipotle on Pleasant Hill, which always has a long line. If you don’t want to wait, I guess you could go next door to get a sandwich here. The decorations feature those funny one line jokes and the employees are polite; however, the lighting could make the place warmer so you feel like you want to stay and eat.
I’ve also gotten them delivered. Their ads claim they deliver very quick and I have had that experience at other locations. This one, however, can be slow. I’ve had to wait over 30 minutes to get my order of just two subs. I live about 1.5 miles away, so expected it within 15 minutes. Since it’s part of a chain, the subs always taste the same.

I was really hungry and too tired to go back out. JJ delivered a decent sandwich to my hotel room. For that I’m giving them the extra star. The sandwich was ok. I’m not a huge fan of kettle type chips but the delivery guy was friendly and I swear they were here in 10 mins. I’d order again… It hit the spot.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. Yes, Jimmy Johns is no Publix but they deliver to my house with no minimum, which means I could order anything and they will deliver it. Once they got our order wrong and even drove back with the right order. I usually get the Turkey Tom, but I have to add extra stuff because alone it seems pretty plain. Also, today I tried the Unwich, which is basically the sandwich without the bread (yay for low carb lovers). It was yummy. Their chips are really good too. The people at JJ’s have always been nice and courteous.
I’ve never eaten in the restaurant itself– too loud for me. Plus, I might be more tempted to go to that addicting Chipotle’s next door :)

It was probably one of those damn radio commercials that caused me to wander over here for lunch one day. Like, seriously how hungry are you that the only thing you want is something FAST, LIKE REALLY REALLY FAST. I guess it’s a cute gimmick.
Sandwich was MEH. Bread wasn’t soft. I can’t even remember what type of sandwich I got because it just wasn’t memorable. Portion was tiny.
Now I just want a Publix sandwich.

1. Walked in and the guys didn’t even give me a chance to look over the menu before loudly asking me what I wanted to order. I’d been inside the doors for about a second. –_​_​–
2. They didn’t ask me white or wheat… I got a soggy white piece of bread. –_​_​_​–
3. I couldn’t find the sugar packets for the unsweet tea that I got. –_​_​_​_​–
4. Location is pretty congested. It’s right off of the interstate sandwiched amongst Chipotle and other businesses. Making it hard to jokey for a parking spot.
ONE positive thing was the music. As I choked down my sandwich, I was able to have a mini karaōke session at the table with hubs. :-)
Walked out feeling abused and defiantly didn’t get what I paid for.

I was surprised to see anyone could give Jimmy Johns a bad review. The only negative I’ve found is that the music is always so loud But that’s not even an issue since im in and out in less than 5 mins.
The bread is amazing. I could just eat it by itself. Oh Jimmy Johns and your crack laced bread. The roast beef subs are my favorite. I’ve had the tuna and it was really good, but the roast beef is too perfect to pass up. I think it has the perfect season on it so as to bring out the flavor and not cover it up. It works excellent with the tomato and bread. The chips are fantastic here.
It is a little pricy for a sub. I’d feel excellent about this place and eat there more often if it didn’t cost me $ 8 for a sandwich, chips, and a drink.
