Decent drinks and pricing, the little shop feels really homey and comforting, and the two owners there are kind and welcoming. Literally like going to my grandparents house in Johns Creek. It’s a convenient place to get a quick bubble tea without driving to Quickly’s or Sweet Hut, tacked on an extra star because the owners are really nice.

CASHONLY This is my favorite bubble tea shop! The tea is perf. Not too sweet and doesn’t taste fake or powdery! The bubbles are made perfectly chewy! Be careful on trying to order in and out. It’s just an old married couple running the store most of the time!

Great Bubble Tea and food. $/4 pricewise, friendly service. Décor needs to be updated and cleaned up modernized Had the taro bubble tea, mango tea and honeydew slushie all were delicious yum! Had the wonton noodles-ok-good. This place always reminds me of the street vendors in New York markets. Fun Cheap and good eats Would recommend and would go back

I’ve actually been going to this place since high school and it’s been ran by the same adorable elderly couple the entire time. It’s going to be sad day when only one of them greets me. I consider each visit a special moment since they may not be open that much longer as the owner get older in age. I really like their bubble tea, it doesn’t taste like its made out of some powder like most bubble tea shops. It feels more like homemade style here with quality ingredients. Which make this place unique in my opinion. They have other things on menu like chicken nuggets, wonton soup, and ice cream as well, can’t really judge that too much as I haven’t really explored the rest of the menu items. Overall it’s a great place to go to for bubble tea, they may not look as hip as the other bubble tea shops, but they make up for it in the taste and quality of their drinks. It’s very homely when you come in. It’s like visiting your grandparents, you know you have to be on your best behavior and at the same time they’re going to spoil you with love. My Recommendations: –Pure Green Tea w/Grass Jelly

I’ve had Boba Tea at several locations and this is by far the worst Boba I’ve had. The owners are nice and sweet but that’s about it.

This place is really offputting by the looks of their shop. They have very old and dirty looking tables and chairs in the store. I have tried their milk teas and a mango slushie drink and they have both been really sub par. They were watery and too sweet. The old couple that runs this place are so sweet but the drinks and the store itself makes me want to run in the opposite direction. Do yourself a favor and get your bubble tea fix elsewhere

I have been coming here for bubble tea for the last 3 years. Their prices are fair and the family that operates this location is very customer friendly. I ordered a regular sized Taro milk tea this time and enjoyed it thoroughly. The interior is not fancy, so don’t come in with that expectation. Only other thing is the tea is made daily, but not fresh for each order… still tastes good though! I will continue visiting this business.

I’ve been going to this place since 2006 since it was walking distance from my high school. Because of the memories this place holds(my first bubble tea drink was from here!), I whole heartedly give this place 5 stars. The bubble tea selection is wide, the couple who owns this place is extremely kind and friendly, and the location is very convenient(same plaza as the Johns Creek Hmart). Don’t come in here expecting swanky sofas and abundant outlets for your computers. This isn’t a «Sweet Hut» hang out place where students go to «study», socialize, and conveniently run into old friends and enemies. This is a small restaurant, with only a few tables and sofas. There’s a menu for snacks(GETTHESPICYCHICKENNUGGETS! They are the best here!!), an assortment of dishes, and bubble tea. The prices are very cheap and reasonable. The only downfall is that it’s cash only. –edit Also, I forgot to mention how the bubble tea tastes!(lol) At other bubble tea joints, I always have to ask for less sugar because I feel like I am drinking my way to diabetes. However, at Snow Mtn, I think it’s the perfect amount of sweetness in the tea. I never have to ask for less sugar/sweetener.

I have been coming here for the past 7 years. I think highly of this place. The taste of the drinks are consistent, and I have never been disappointed. A large drink can contain a number of toppings, and can be quite filling. I like the food for the price and taste, like the dumplings fried are quite good. I feel like I get more than the value I paid for there. Cash only though.

How is it that I haven’t wrote a review for snow mountain!!! This was the place that started it all for me. The place that helped me become an obsessive bubble tea lover. This was the place that would make me willingly drive 40 min to and another 40 min back home just for their bubble teas, tea eggs, and hot and sour soup! Hot and sour soup a bowl is 1 $. This haven’t changed. Tea eggs used to be 2 for 1 $ is now 3 for 2 $. Slight increased but understandable. They also have updated a bit, there is now about four booths… no more small table! Yay! The things that set snow mountain apart from other competitors is: 1) the adorable grandmother and grandfather that run this place. They are so sweet and nice and friendly. A true homey family shop. Not those big well known chain store(ie kungfu and quickly? 2) their price is cheaper than quickly and a lot less than kungfu 3) the tea is nice and enough. So is the sugar amount. I dont feel like I’m going on a sugar trip when I’m drinking their bubble teas 4)hot and sour soup is so so so good in the winter, when I’m sick or whenever I want some soup! 5) tea eggs are so good as well! And that’s all the reason why snow mountain will always be my favorite bubble tea place! :) So what are you waiting for? Go visit the adorable grandmother and grandfather you never knew you had! :)

I went here twice because I wasn’t sure if it was me being legit sick with the flu or if it was food poisoning. I’m still not sure, but the elderly chinese couple here are so sweet and soft spoken. SO the things I’ve tried: Beef Noodle Soup — salty, wow salty. a few chunks of meat were good, but wow. the broth is so salty. Even saltier than your average xbox user. Tea Eggs — these are marinated hardboiled eggs that are a dark taupe color. there is a fragrance to them and they are good. I can only eat 1 tho. Onion Cake — it’s wonton wrappers with an onion cream thing inside, like a bare bones Taco Bell Mexican Pizza, chinese style. Really thin, but pretty good. Chicken Nuggets — More like chicken curd looking things with salt and sugar(?). Really salty, but ok. The elderly grandma brought this out to the table and handed the bag to me with a smile like she was giving me a crinkling paper pouch of secrets, Black Milk Tea — really good, the first time I was here, I saw the lady ladle it out from a bucket like it was liquid ice cream, Snowy Mountain — it’s supposed to be the signature drink, like a piña colada with no pineapple. and there was no cherry = sadness. So three stars, the décor is forgotten flea market meets hole in the wall chinese restaurant.

As a bubble tea fanatic, this place is my favorite out of any I’ve tried, and I am very picky when it comes to my bubble tea. When I say bubble tea, I’m talking about the basic bubble teas, not the slushies or smoothies. Their milk teas are always very consistent — black milk tea and green milk teas are good. The ratio of milk to tea is excellent. The green milk tea(without milk) is good as well — usually not too bitter, and it’s subtly sweet as well! The Taro Milk tea is good as well, and I also like the Almond Milk tea, which you can request either green milk tea or black milk tea as the base. Or, you can even ask for half green milk/half black milk. However, if you’ve never tried almond milk tea before, it might be safe to avoid it, as it can impart a bit of an odd taste. Heck — I like all of the teas that they have there. There are add-ons you can add to your tea, as well: tapioca, rainbow jelly, coffee jelly, grass jelly, egg pudding, and milk pudding(perhaps I’m missing some?) What’s even better is that they DON’T charge you extra for extra add-ons! This is another thing I love about this place. I can’t exactly vouch for the smoothies, as I have not ordered any from here. The slushies are very sweet(syrup-based), and the tapioca tends to freeze and expand in slush. If you love candy-sweet drinks, a slush would definitely be suitable for you. The noodles! The noodles here are good too! I like them all! I’ve heard that the salt and pepper chicken nuggets are also tasty and very authentic. After all, the sweet old couple running this place does make everything. Heads up though, if you place a food order, it takes time for them to make, so expect to sit around for a bit. Or, you can place your order, go grocery shopping at the H-Mart next door, and pick your food up(to-go) afterwards. Goodness. this review is so scattered and all over the place haha. One last thing I love about this place — they serve a(small) bowl of hot and sour soup for $ 1! Hot and sour soup is one of my favorite soups because of this place. I’d rather pay $ 1 for their soup than for a $ 1 McDouble. Yep.

Eh. This place has every few drink choices, but there’s at least 5+ items to choose from in each category: bubble tea, slushy, smoothie, etc. Remember to bring cash because this is a cash only place. On the bright side, their regular size(small) is very cheap – $ 2.35. So for two people, it’s only $ 5. Although we came here on a random Tuesday evening, there was an okay stream of people in and out. The locale is very small so large parties won’t fit comfortably. There is a little play area for the kiddies as well. The two elderly owners running this place are so sweet. They definitely give this place an interesting vibe. I don’t think they have any help at all, but they are as efficient as can be. Just aim for the Hmart and you’ll be in the complex. Snow Mountain is on the left side of the complex if you’re looking at Hmart. It’s near the end with Rite Aid.

Stopped by after having had the place on my bookmarks list forever one night after hanging out with my sister, who lives pretty close by. My friend, Ed, was visiting from Germany and since we were all tired and he in particular was needing a repeat dose of caffeine, we decided to head over after eating dinner at my sister’s. Ed ended up foregoing caffeine altogether and got a grape slushie, which he really enjoyed.(He did regret not getting a hit of the stimulant drug later on but fortunately for him, he could recline his seat as we made the trek back to my place.) Coincidentally, my cousin and her fiancé were visiting from the Nutmeg State(don’t know what that refers to? Google!) and while she got a black milk tea without boba, he ended up with ice cream… Which was a bit hard. So if I had to steer you towards something here, it would totally be the boba tea. My two sisters got taro bubble tea, which is their standby choice. Especially the one who made dinner for us. I ended up with the almond milk tea with boba, which was very good as well. Truthfully, with the options that I have on BuHi, this place may really be a 3.5-star, but the elderly couple running the place is just as sweet as other Unilocalers and my sister raved about, so I am tacking on that last 0.5 star to my rating.

I wanted a smoothie, but this place was on the way home from a car meet at TPS Pizza so decided to stop by here. First time, and M was SHOCKED that my love hasn’t taken me here before. I thought the place would be fantastic based off her reaction, but that was not the case. The drinks here are not AMAZING, but I doubt the drinks are why people keep coming back. The two older folks who work here are just too outrageously cute, and so kind. They kept reminding me of my grandparents, and P and I couldn’t help but leave a HUGE tip. I ordered the honeydew slush and was a bit overtaken when it was brown instead of green. But… it tasted JUST like honeydew. My mind was blown. Lol. But it was a bit on the sweeter side. Love ordered one of the milk teas that the older gentleman referred and loved it. If we’re in the area, I might come back just to visit them lol. I have a soft side for elders, what can I say lol.

I’ve been coming here for years mainly for their bubble tea and occasionally for dumplings. They have a huge flavor selection as well as different types of jellies or tapioca balls(boba) to pair your drink with. My go to drink here is the black milk tea with little boba and rainbow jelly. Did I mention that their bubble tea prices are very reasonable? If I didn’t let me say that Snow Mountain’s bubble tea prices are very reasonable. If you are in the mood for something more hearty they serve different appetizers and dishes. Their homemade dumplings are very good. There is limited seating and the place always has a steady flow of customers. If a table’s not available take the food to go. Truly, the main reason I continue to come here is the husband and wife dynamic duo. I’ve always had a soft spot for the mom and pop shops because that’s the types of business my parents always had. These two remind me a lot of my folks and some of my friends’ folks. The older couple that runs this joint has an unbelievable work ethic. They are always there to greet you with a warm smile that instantly brightens anyones day. Anyone with a heart will instantly feel the kindness and gentleness from these two individuals. Also, the store hours are great. They stay open late almost every night. Service is not always the fastest when it gets busy but what’s always the rush in life? Take your time and relax. Soon enough your bubble tea will be ready to go. Please note that they only accept cash. No credit cards. It’s all good. If you forgot to go to the ATM you could probably find some coins to total one bubble tea drink under the seat of your car. If not, there is a nearby Rite-Aid and Hmart that you can get some cash from your check card.
