Whoever works in sports and leisure needs to be fired immediately. Also the incompetent manager made an employee who was not in the specific department help me and she could not operate the register so I had to wait again for another who could

The crew in the bakery department are usually great. However on Sunday, February 7, 2016, as I went to pick up two orders that were supposed to be ready at 9 a.m. on February 7th, I find out that the regular crew wasn’t there that day and the woman who had to fill in for them was left with over a dozen unfilled orders including my two orders. I felt bad for her since she had to walk into a situation where the work was not completed and wasn’t ready for the customers and she had to do it all. I came in for a 5 minute pick up and ended up staying there for 1.5 hours until my order was ready. I commend the young woman who filled my order but I’m not happy that Management allowed this to happen to her and to me.

Horrible. There are a few great employees that have been there for years, but they are looked over and treated like crap. Management is rude. Bathrooms are dirty. The loss prevention lady walks around like she is the law and makes you feel like a criminal for no reason. Very unprofessional and rude.

Can’t expect much from a WalMart. That being said, I was surprised by the variety of apples they carry. Visited around 10pm so they were restocking there. Was approached by a random person soliciting for donations in the bread aisle, which is probably illegal. Other stuff I noticed is there was no price tag for the iPad Air on display, only pricing for iPad Mini. Another humorous incident was finding Target stickers on some of the books. Overall, got what I needed at a low price. Came in for water filters which are $ 3 cheaper than at the local Home Depot. This WalMart does indeed have everything you need.

I would give this place no stars but I’m being nice. Walmart in whole isn’t too bad but the BAKERY… URGHH! THEYARETHEWORST! I ordered my daughters birthday cake on a Monday and the call me Saturday at 10am …(my pick up time was Saturday @12) telling me my cake order was taken by a new employee and wasn’t possible to make. Ok? I got the design out of the design book… Then I go into the store and compromise a cake so my daughters birthday wouldn’t lack a cake. When I sent some one else to pick up the cake and when it got to me it was sloppy, shotty work and too top it off my daughters name is spelled wrong! You would think because they messed up they would at least do go work on the replacement cake. It wasn’t good at all ! Don’t get a cake from here! Trust me!

BETHATEARLYBIRD! When traveling from Alpharetta to Duluth, this is my «go to» Walmart. While I no longer shop here for food, I would stop here to pick up personal care items, household items and plants and I always liked checking out through the gardening section because this place is crazy busy on the weekends. I didn’t buy anything today because the cupboards were bare and they did not have what I needed. I have also decided that if I don’t have several items to buy, I will not bother because I just don’t like standing in their long inefficient lines. Best tip: Get in as early as possible and know what you want. Check out through the garden center whenever possible.

Decent Walmart. I just moved to Georgia from NJ so any Walmart here has been an upgrade to the disasters that are Walmart up North. The customer service is really quite nice. Purchased a dog tag for only $ 6 at a machine located at the entrance of the grocery side of this Walmart. Such a great purchase considering places like petsmart charge so much more. Very pleased it was conviniently located here. The machine was easy to use and efficient.

This is horrible customer service ever. When I get there around Jan-15−201523:50. They have a keychain bending machine but it just took a money without product comes out. Also, manager(? She was doing collect money from the selfcheckout station) told me they can’t help me anything I have to call to bending machine company. She told me phone number is side of bending machine but nothing on there. I was asked again and check around bending machine again. Finally I asked her help me find phone number. But she don’t want it. So, I just lost money there. Also 2 days ago me and my daughter try to get keychain two times, but it was not workinkg too. Money is no problem. Ploblem is my little daughter(she is sick) really want it asking me everyday. This experience was worst in my life.

Perhaps due to the holidays, the traffic in the parking area of this location was bad. Nonetheless, I was in and out as secret santa, me, picked up gifts and little trinkets. I dont think I like the layout of any walmart… but this one is very wide and lots of clutter in the aisles. Did I just describe every Walmart? On the plus side, I got my 30 minutes of cardio done. Check!

This Wal-Mart’s bathrooms are always disgusting. When you need assistance either no on is to be found or the employee has no idea where things are. The employees are too quick to pass me off too someone else or ignore me entirely. Crappiest customer service ever! Worst Wal-Mart I’ve ever been to.

Well, for starters they only had two registers open and each one had a HUGE line and we had one item. Yes I know, one should not visit Walmart for one item but we had no choice. We waited up until one person was in front of us and of course they opened another lane. The second time we visited here, we tried to use the self checkout and our change got caught up in the machine. The manager came over and fixed it after 2 or 3 minutes but all of the machines had that same error on them so I would avoid self checkout if you visit here.

Ehhhh. Its big and has most of the things you need. I’ve seen better layouts and use of space when it comes to walmart. For better quality meats and cold cuts I thinks Publix it is, and everything else walmart does have it wrapped with their low prices. Overall for your everyday need items you can’t go wrong here.

I really like going to the Duluth Wal-Mart. There are always a sale or clearance going on. The associates are helpful. The only drawback is the store doesn’t enforce the no solicitation code.

As far as Walmarts go, the Duluth Walmart isn’t a bad one. It’s big, it’s bright, and it’s clean. During the daytime, the store is partially lit by natural sunlight thanks to several transparent panels in the ceiling and roof. We all know Walmart has some of the lowest prices around(how they’re able to offer such low prices is a different story). Case-in-point, here are a few examples of fruits I’ve purchased here: Mangos at $ 1.18 each Navel oranges at $ 0.58 each Bananas at $ 0.52 per pound Blueberries — 11 ounce box for $ 4.98 At my neighborhood Publix, bananas are over $ 0.70 per pound. Navel oranges there and at the nearby Kroger and Target are upwards of $ 0.90 each. Just like the commercials advertise, Walmart really does provide significant savings. Not only that, but the quality of the produce is surprisingly good. The mangos, oranges, bananas, and blueberries I purchased were all ripe. I was surprised how good they tasted, especially the mangos. Dare I say they were near farmers market quality. Then again, maybe I just got lucky. Another example of savings I experienced was on a 42 ounce canister of Quaker Oats oatmeal. At Publix, Target, or Kroger, these things sell for $ 4−5+. At Walmart, they are $ 3.68 each. On the downside, I have seen expired lunch meat hanging in the lunch meat section. Check the expiration dates of foods and other products before putting them in your basket or cart. This Walmart is one of the decked-out Supercenter locations. It has a pharmacy, photo center, vision center, Subway, nail salon, beauty salon, bank, and more. It’s located at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Rd. and N. Berkeley Lake Rd.

It’s about time I wrote a review for this place, since I think I’m the Dutchess. What is up with this Walmart having so many bad reviews? I come here on a weekly basis, to stock up on items that are either unavailable or overpriced at the Asian markets. I have never had a problem here and can always find whatever I need. The service is just like most other Walmart locations, with maybe the exception that this one is much busier than some other ones in really nice suburbs(like the one I visited on Windward Pkwy. in Alpharetta). This makes sense, as uppity/educated people frown on this necessary/unnecessary evil behemoth. It may or may not be the best move in furthering our economy and supporting local businesses, but money talks! I save money by getting milk, yogurt, cheese, bread, and some other everyday items here – so I do just that. The one thing that bothers me is that not all the self-checkout registers are in working order at all times. So when I want to run in and out(which is really difficult to do, depending on the day/time that you come), the heavy traffic foils my plans for a rapid departure. Oh well. Luckily, I enjoy grocery shopping(anywhere, at Walmart or Whole Foods) and bf can always wander back to the electronics department and rip the controls for Wii out of some poor kid’s hands to pass the time(totally joking!). My frequent trips here indicate that I don’t hate it as much as some others who come here.

As a new resident to the Duluth area, I must concur with most of the other reviews for this Walmart. It is, hands down, the worst Walmart that I have ever visited. Unfortunately for me, it’s also the closest to my house now, so it’s the one I go to purely based on convenience. The first problem you face, even before you can park, is that there seems to be only one entrance to the parking lot from Pleasant Hill Road. You have to sit patiently in your car and wait as customers walk from the store their cars(and vice versa) before you can even park. Eek. As soon as you grab your shopping cart and enter the store, you will notice the terrible layout. The aisles are SO narrow that often times, you have to wait for someone to pass through with their cart before you can push your cart through. Ughhh… And it’s been crowded every time I’ve visited, so I felt like the majority of my time there was spent waiting for other people to pass before I could get to an aisle. They are frequently out of stock of certain items. I’ve also noticed that prices are somewhat higher than the Walmart stores up in Buford, but I guess that could just be related to the location of the store. Boo. Don’t expect to zip in and out of this Walmart quickly because checkout lines take forever to move. Self checkout is available, but people are slow at checking out. I saw one couple let their child scan their items, which obviously dragged the process out longer than necessary. If you’re hungry before or after shopping, there’s a Subway inside the Walmart near the entrance. Although I haven’t eaten there myself, I’m sure it’s nothing more than a standard Subway. Overall, this Walmart gets 2 stars because although I have experienced much better at other Walmart stores, this one is the closest to my house now. I feel like I have no choice but to go to this Walmart for certain toiletries and personal items, unless I decide to shop at one closer to my workplace in Buckhead. I will reluctantly continue to return to this Walmart, but I would love it if they could somehow rearrange the store layout to expand the widths of their aisles. [Review 207 of 366]
