We wandered into this cute little shop on our last visit to Duluth and really liked it. It’s a really nice store that is actually kind of half store and half art gallery. The items are all Great Lake themed — lots of moose, loons and other lake-related items. There were some amazing wall items — paintings, pictures, glass and other items that were really high-end decorating items. It was not kitschy or touristy at all. It was really a curated collection of local art. Correspondingly, there were lots of price tags in the hundreds or thousands of dollars. There were other things like greeting cards that were just a few bucks. I saw several things that I thought would be amazingly cool to have in my house(someday when I’m rich that is). But we really had a great time looking around. Some of the items the store has were just beautiful. If there’s a Lake Superior lover in your group, you should definitely stop in, even just to look around.

Gorgeous space for a gallery! I remember when I was a kid and came to this building for much different reasons — there was a Chucky Cheese-like place called ‘Grand Slam’ that was popular back in the early 90s and I went to a few kid parties there. Anyway, Waters is a large, very open art gallery where on one side of the store they feature paintings, wood work, and large pieces of art. The other side has more of a retail display of candles, clothing, housewares, handicrafts, etc. Check out their website
