Chick-fil-A

(3÷2÷2016) Fast food is generally only reserved for road trips for us. We were traveling south on I-​95, wanted a quick stop with a place close to the highway. Chick Fil-​A has Grilled Chicken Nuggets which are just right for our dog to snack on while we have our sandwiches and waffle fries (sometimes she gets a fry or two). The signs are not marked, but my Unilocal app showed us a Chick Fil-​A very close by, north on Rt. 234 (towards Manassas, not towards Dumfries). This Chick Fil-​A looks brand new, the styling looked like it was trying very hard for that Pottery Barn modern rustic chic, including a colorful composite communal table, bright red glass mini pendant lights, old toy car and train décor, etc. Interior was very open, large, and bright. We were there during the lunch hour on a weekday, place was not busy and service was efficient and friendly. Our orders came out right, and quickly. We will def keep this one in mind for future travels.

Love this chick fil a. Gets our order perfect every time, is fast, and clean. The mints they hand out during your meal are awesome.

Chic-​fil-​a closes when it rains. I don’t know why but it definitely was not my pleasure.

I have no idea what’s going on with this location. I love Chick-​fil-​A, but the particular one is a mess. My order is wrong 90% of the time, and they seem like they’re always in a rush… Even if it isn’t crowded. The employees are always friendly, they just can’t seem to get orders correct. The other day I asked for extra cheese and I got a slice of cheese in bag and not on my sandwich… Bizarre.

This is a BIG Chick-​fil-​A guys!
It’s located in a perfect spot, right next to the 95 exit so if you’ve got a long drive, feel hungry and need a quick and semi (cause it’s chicken) healthy meal, take the Dumfries exit towards Manassas and it’s on the left hand side :)
I like the fact that this location has 2 drive thru speakers to order from. It helps with speeding along the line, even though there is still some congestion before you get your meal and drive off.
I will definitely be stopping by again :)

I love chikfila! I usually go to the one at pw pky. Today i tried the Dumfries location as i was near there. Big mistake. The spicy chicken was shrunken, overcooked and not what i usually get from chikfila. The fries were fresh but undercooked. Went through the drive through so not feasible to go back to complain. Overall — bad experience.

Exceptionally clean and food as good as usual. Parking is fairly limited. Staff is welcoming and polite.

Great service, good fast food. Only complaint is that when there is a breeze the trash area to the left of the place really smells bad. They need to figure out a way to eliminate that.

I was very surprised when I saw this Chick Fil A, but was very disappointed just when getting to the register. As much as I would like to give this place a good review, I would be a true liar and would end up making everything up. When you enter, whether it be in the morning, midday, or during the night, I have rarely, if ever, received good customer service. No one here looks like they enjoy their job and some employees even go as far as taking it out on customers! I believe that the worst time to come here is the morning. The food is almost never right or good and everyone working here has a frown on their face and gives you a rude tone. I have even had one lady talk back to me as if I were a criminal for correcting their orders. During the midday and night the food and customer service can be a hit or miss. Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are not. One time during lunch I had a cashier upsize my meal. I told him it was a meal but he charged me separately for the chicken sandwich, fries, and drink. The dining area is not the cleanest I have been in. I have come in to see their trash cans overflowing and seeing greasy fingerprints all over the table. Another table table that is completely neglected and always dirty is the middle white reclaimed wood table (yes I read the plaque). I have come here at opening time and it is always dirty and sticky. It is still sticky during the afternoon and night. It is so bad that you can point out the ketchup marks. Don’t think that the neglect of cleanliness stops in the dining area! They also have issues cleaning their bathroom. You can see watery marks on the floor and the counter is a mess (You would think that the OVERFLOWING paper towels would dry the counter, but nope!). I don’t know if I am the only one who has an issue with this, but the faucet is not the best. The water pressure is low and the sensors barely work, but when they are on, they stay on and do no mysteriously turn off. The last thing this place needs to improve on is the drive thru service. It is slow and I truly feel that a double drive thru does not help. A (not) good thing to view while you are waiting is the pile of junk in the kid’s playroom. I don’t think I would come back here unless I don’t have a choice or time. A better option than coming here is driving more north to the (more crowded) Dale City location or just keep driving south to the Stafford Location. I hope this place improves!

This Chick-​fil-​a is pretty fast and the customer service is pretty good, if you eat in, employees will check on you to see if everything is alright. However, they’re chicken sandwiches every time I order from here is soggy, and they put way too much ice in the drinks. This one also upsets my stomach. The Chick-​Fil-​A over at Dale city is always very on point, is cleaner, and the food never turns out soggy. I really hope this Chick-​Fil-​A improves.

Not military friendly. Right next to a marine base and won’t recognize military. It’s very disappointing as they are normally a big supporting company of military. Won’t go to this location ever again.

This location had the cleanest, most pleasant dining area I’ve seen at a fast-​good restaurant in a very long time. The staff waited on our table and offered soda refills, sauce and bags to take our order in the road.

I LOVE Chick-​Fil-​A!!! But this Chick-​Fil-​A is a dud… The couple times I have been here, they have always gotten the order wrong, and the people working seem to be more of your typical McDonalds caliber. The last time I went, I arrived very early in the morning. I walked in and was the only customer there. This was surprising to me since all of the spaces close to the door were taken. I guess those are the employee spaces??? I stood at the counter for a few minutes and there was NO ONE in sight. A girl finally came out of the drive through area and absently asked if she could take my order. I jokingly said, «Oh, good, I thought this was one of those self serve Chick-Fil-A’s…» She did not like my joke. I ordered a spicy chicken biscuit. I saw it THROWN from the back into the bin and the girl some-​what re-​wrapped it and placed it in a bag for me. I sat at a table, but when I opened it to eat it saw the the wrapper had some sort of slimy brown thing stuck to it. What-​ever this was (maybe a grilled onion from a burrito???) was touching my sandwich. I went up to the front and the same girl, who did not like my earlier joke, came over. I pointed to the brown slimy thing and said, «Not sure what this is, but it doesn’t look good. Can I have a new sandwich.» Without responding, she went to the window and loudly and sarcastically said to the back: «Hey Sally (I assume this was the sandwich thrower), this GENTLEMAN says that there is SOMETHING HE DOES NOT LIKE in his sandwich, can you cook him another?» (The caps was where she was being very disrespectful.) I immediately asked for the manager. The manager came out (A nice enough oriental fellow) and I explained all of the above to him. He was apologizing, but I got the impression he was not going to do anything about it. It seemed like he might of been afraid of this girl.
If you are traveling up 95, do your-​self a favor and go another exit to the Dale City Chick-​Fil-​A… It is super busy, but it is always good, they always get the order right, and they are always VERY NICE!

Awesome. Customized my breakfast order painlessly with efficiency and charm :) They asked me to wait by the curbside lot and walked over with my order perfectly made. Manager and staff all wear a great smile. As far as I’m concerned Chick fil A is the only major QSR that serves a REAL chicken sandwich. I LOVE their waffle fries, dipped in honey mustard and this location definitely sells the goods with style.

Have been avoiding this place since it opened because the drive thru is always packed. We decided to stop by because my husband was craving his spicy chicken sandwich was a little nervous but we dined in. The food was good of course it’s Chic fila!!! They started bringing your food to you a plus!!! And they have a person in the lobby asking if you need a refill. She even asked as we were leaving do want us to top you up! Had a good experience I love the personal touches!!! Thanks for making my dinner feel like home!!!

I live near this Chick Fil A and go through the drive thru often. My order has never been messed up and the service is excellent!!!

0 for 2. Messed up my order twice then wanted me to come up with the solution. Horrible customer service. Not what I’m used to from Chick-​fil-​a. Very disappointed!

Their new grilled chicken is to die for. Nothing like that cardboard I ordered from them a couple of years ago (and swore I’d never try again). It’s better than any fast food grilled chicken you can get — maybe even (gasp) Chipotle!
Overpriced, but I don’t care!

It’s chick-​fil-​a — of course the food is delicious. That goes without saying.
I really liked the double drive-​thru too — the line moved really quickly! I was very impressed with the speediness…
…however. We ordered and paid for two orders of 4-​count chicken strips, but when we got home and opened the boxes, we were surprised to find that we had only received 3 chicken strips in each container.
I realize this location has only been open for a week or so, but it seems an extra layer of quality control between the kitchen and the window would do some good.
Speediness is appreciated — but not in the place of inaccurate orders.
