Store was not very clean, but most of my dismay comes from the fact they claim to not be able to honor earned rewards or birthday drink reward because they are privately owned. They sure could take my money and apply it to my Starbucks card, and I earned stars from my purchase. Seems they should be able to redeem those rewards like every other Starbucks corporate or franchise locations.

Very nice location but doesn’t honor free drinks earned from the Rewards Program. Barista told a customer they are privately owned and don’t participate. I think that any Starbucks with the company logo should honor the program. She also had the drinks made before she told the customer during payment. The two ladies were really ticked off and it took forever for them to argue about it. It also just seems like a piece of a ski store instead of a cozy Starbucks. Bathrooms not clean and locks broken on doors. Barista also argued with me about getting a discount on my drink for using the re-usable cup. Another barista had to show her how to do it. I don’t use foe the discount but I expect the employees to know about the program. Very little parking. Most spaces are marked for ski store unloading and loading only.

Typical Starbucks with a friendly mountain staff. Free wifi, fresh brews and clean facilities, no complaints! Great place to stop on the way up if you need to rent gear!

I think a lot of building a brand is delivering a consistent experience. I’m really taking points off for this place because it doesn’t feel like a normal Starbucks. It feels like a lobby. It is, literally, an afterthought in the entry way to a ski gear shop. My yardstick for good Starbucks locations are those places where I can sit down for a good long while and read, or people watch, or work on a laptop. I think there is a purpose to their layout on this one, but its one that really doesn’t suit me at all.

This place needs more hands on deck. Not even worth stopping. The line is always out the door. And it takes forever. Literally 20 minutes to get 2 drinks. Not a very good representation of the Starbucks name. Service and product were fine. Efficiency and consideration of time is lacking, big time.

Worst… Starbucks… ever… They don’t accept your free rewards. The line is always out the door. They usually have one barista so the service is extremely slow. Do yourself a favor and go to the real starbucks in idaho springs one block up

Convenient stopping point on the drive from Denver to the mountains. Always a line in the morning, but it moves quickly. There is a great place to rent skis/snowboards next door if you need that.

This location gets pretty busy due to the ski resorts, but the staff is very friendly and there’s ski shop attached which is awesome. There’s also a gas station nearby. The biggest issue is the crowds honestly. Everyone knows Starbucks is pretty pricey, so it’s not like I’ll put that as an issue.

Does not honor Starbucks corporate issued coupons. Always crowded but missing many of the amenities of other locations. Limited seating, tables are always dirty. Coffee is more expensive than other locations in the area. I will try another location next time.

We ended up at this Starbucks with everyone else coming down from a day of skiing. And while the line was ridiculous, they have a system down and we were out of there in about 10 minutes. I was impressed.

It’s a Starbucks next to a ski rental place… what more do you want?

It’s a Starbucks. The place is clean, the service is nice, but it does get pretty crowded on a weekend.
