Brand new diner opened in Duncannon this week. Small simple friendly diner. We walked in and were told we could sit where we like. They had a few booths and tables. The menu has your basic diner fare. Breakfast is served all day. Although you may not want to order the waffles. They were toaster waffles! Nothing special. He then ordered a sub. no frills. but good. Homemade meatloaf was topped with bacon and had peppers and onions in it. Topped with homemade gravy and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade too. The beef soup tasted like it was from a can, but the waitress had no problem exchanging it for a side salad. Which was wonderful! Fresh lettuce with cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet red onions, and carrots. Very nice! Tea and coffee were freshly brewed. Nice place. Decent food. We’ll be back.
