The payed for my food and the same guy that took my money, went back to making pizza without washing his hands. When I mentioned it he said he was going to throw the dough away which was a lie. Afterwards he went to wash his hands.

Customer service is horrible. I wouldn’t eat here if you gave me free pizza. No thank you!

I work at Clay Cooley and tried to order a pizza to get delivered to my job off i20 and Wheatland. Well I get a phone call saying that they don’t deliver on LBJ fwy after dark because of safely reasons. Which is somewhat understandable. But to cut off deliver to the entire freeway? Is a bit much. And it’s not like I’m getting it delivered to my home. I was getting it delivered to my place of business!!! This isn’t even a neighborhood!

This review is based on one experience over three years ago, so take it with a grain of salt. I’ve actually used this Papa John’s plenty of times in the past without major problems, before this one time. What happened was, during the Super Bowl about three years ago, I happened to be in town, and I watched it with my dad. We saw the Papa John’s commercial on TV and thought, «I could go for some pizza.» So we ordered it. They said it would be about 45 minutes. That’s more than usual, but that’s to be expected. It’s Super Bowl. Everyone wants pizza, and everyone saw the commercial. So, I wait 45 minutes, and even show up a little late, as I’m sure it might even take a little longer than that. I was right. It did take a little longer. I gave them my name and said I was there for pickup. «It’ll be right out.» Every five or ten minutes for over an hour, an HOUR I waited during the super bowl, and they continuously said«Yours is next,» or «Yours will be right out,» or «Yours will be ready in about two minutes.» They lied and lied and lied, and they didn’t just do it to me. They did it to a ton of other people who were waiting too. They clearly just got way more orders than usual, but instead of telling everyone«It will take like two or three hours» over the phone, they lied and said«45 minutes» so people would still order. I should have gotten fed up right at the get-go, but for whatever reason it took over an hour(I guess I’m just patient). So, I demanded my money back(I had already paid) and I demanded to take home a few free pizzas(they had stacks of them sitting to the side that other people had left behind since they had gotten tired of waiting). They did give me my money back and let me take the free pizzas, but it was still an incredibly frustrating experience.
