What an incredible day we had at the cooking studio. Great food and so much hands on instruction. It was really a treat and Wendy let us see how«easy» it can be to make some really fun appetizers and food. Cannot wait for the next class. Thank you so much for such a great afternoon.

After wine tasting at Ponzi my deary and I crossed over a side street and stumbled upon this cooking studio on the second floor. This corner suite with huge windows is a great place to cook up a storm. The studio is small but well equipped. There is a metal counter in the centre where students pay to get their hands dirty. We were privileged to have met Chef Wendy Bennett and her colleague who were cleaning up after a long day of cooking class. Chef Wendy Bennett was extremely friendly. She introduced herself and talked to us about the courses she’s teaching. My partner even asked her what knives, gadgets she uses in the kitchen(both at home and in the studio) and she unselfishly shared what she considers«essential tools»(Chun knives, knife sharpener, All-Clad pots). She even suggested a few stores where I may find them. Cooking classes are priced ranging from $ 55-$ 80 per person depending on the classes. The classes usually are between 3 – 3:30 hours long and they are hands-on. When time allows I’d love to give this place a try.
