Had another excellent dinner at Tina’s last night. Fantastic atmosphere, service, wine and food. Absolutely 1 of our top 3 restaurants in Oregon. A gem.

What a wonderful evening. Thank you Michael. Not only was the food fabulous but I have never felt more welcome. Truly a wonderful experience beginning to end. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts appetizer and the short ribs. Can’t wait to go back.

The place is under new ownership. Wonderful changes, wonderful food. We haven’t been here for dinner yet, but we plan to come here soon. They have a extensive wine list.

Been to 12 Michelin 3 Stars. This one ranks right up there for the quality of food. To begin with, the salmon rolls were extraordinary. Light pastry with salmon and herbs. Yum! I had the rabbit. Delicious! Unfortunately, I lost. My partner had the rack of lamb. Now, no exaggeration. I’ve eaten this dish around the world. Nowhere was it as good as at Tina’s. Everything else, though excellent, was close. My rabbit had a rich full sauce and the meat fell off the bones and melted in my mouth. The accompanying salad was fresh and nutty. The wine list was what might be expected in one of the fine growing areas of the planet. Fabulous and extensive. Service — GREAT! Quiet and homey, this is a must-eat place when doing the wine thing around Dundee or on the way to-from the beach. Highly highly recommended. By the way, the anejo margarita was absolutely superb! After reading other favorable reviews, I had high hopes for Tina’s. I could not have been more disappointed. I won’t even address the atmosphere, just the food. The fried oysters could have been fried okra. They were tasteless and over breaded and over fried.(Sorry okra). The $ 36 cod was overcooked and mushy. I have had better from supermarket frozen food offerings. And the warm cabbage and too hard to cut carrots were a sorry vegetable offering. The one exception was the butternut squash soup that was amazingly rich and tasty – and without any dairy ingredients – how did they do that? Pass on Tina’s – there are too many other great choices in Willamette Valley wine country.

This was our first trip to the Oregon wine country and really loved the experience. One of the highlights was Tina’s. The fried oyster app. was delicious, the Lamb and Sirloin entrees were cooked perfectly and my girlfriend decided that the Demi was the best she had ever tasted. A simple and well done apple cobbler with French vanilla ice cream finished the meal. We enjoyed a local Pinot, Biggio Harmina and it played well with all off our courses. The staff was friendly, courtious, and knowledgeable and the room was warm inviting. Coming from the Seattle area the prices were not at all out of line for a farm to table experience.

As locals we have been to Tina’s on several occasions, generally for our anniversary or birthday. This time we just went on a whim to check out the new ownership. The place looks the same… which is good… quite quaint. First the good… the service was very good… we were seated promptly… and the food was good.(Crab Cakes were excellent and the Seared Ahi was also tasty.) Having said that there were a few cons… I believe that the prices were a little high for the quantity provided, but as I said the quality was good. The menu selections seemed reduced, but not sure. As indicated in another review, the bread was very Small and didn’t come until the soup was served.(As we wait for our soup/dinner we generally look forward to sampling the bread while drinking our wine)…Now the wine… as members of several local wine clubs we opted to bring our own bottle of wine, which we do in restaurants here and throughout Portland, however we have never been hit with a $ 25 corkage fee anywhere else!!! Seeing that charge on the bill at the end of the meal tended to leave a bad taste in your mouth. All in all not our worst dining experience(But worst of our experiences at Tina’s). We, unfortunately, probably will not return, even though it is only a few blocks from our house. For the money and atmosphere we would probably go back to the Painted Lady… a little more costly but an exquisite dining experience.

I would love to give this place 5 stars but the service was lacking as another reviewer stated and a couple of other things brought it down. My food was amazing, I had the goat cheese soufflé which had great flavor and size of portion. We first ordered the brussel sprouts which were good but there were very few on the plate for the price. I order them all the time at other restaurants and you get at least double the amount, so very pricey. Same with the bread, we were 5 at the table and they brought the smallest amount of bread out before the meal. It was very good bread so we had to ask for more. The others in the group said that their food was just okay. Three had the seared ahi and stated that it was over seared. Also that it needed something, sauce or some sort of flavor as it was dry. Not sure who the woman behind the bar was who was our waiter half of the time but she was so awkward to speak to and had to come back to recheck on what we ordered. She returned after our meal and asked about the meal and again was extremely awkward. Enough that it would put me off returning. Not sure what the deal was there. Took forever to pay. I hate when you want to leave and they hold you hostage by not coming to collect the card. Pricey for what you get and they need to up their service. Not sure if I’d go back or not.

If you ever go through Dundee, stop by Tina’s. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with a fabulous lunch. We recommend the pan fried oysters and the sausage and sauerkraut w potato and greens. Seriously, the best sausage ever! Oh, and the wine selection was very nice. Ordering two espressos to get us prepared for our wine tour.

OUTSTANDINGRESTO While doing some winetasting in the Willamette Valley with another couple, we had dinner in this highly recommended restaurant. We were not disappointed. To start, we shared two apps: the Seared Sea Scallops and the Crispy Salmon Rolls. While both were very good, I thought that the sea scallops were better. For dinner, my wife had the Roasted Half Chicken and I had the Lamb Rack. My Lamb Rack was missing something; it was undercooked(I know this is a chef’s preference, but in this case it rendered the meat mealy) and thus not as pleasing as rack of lamb usually is. However, my wife’s chicken was fabulous — clearly the better of our two meals. The service and ambiance were exquisite, as was the wine choice(Atticus Pinot Noir, from a nearby vineyard in Yamhill, OR). My small gripe about the lamb is trivial overall and the meal was most enjoyable. My fiancée and I decided to finally try the famed Tina’s restaurant in Dundee. I have to say we were wonderfully surprised. The comfortable welcoming atmosphere with the reasonably priced fine dining was a true pleasure. Combining that with the amazing congeniality, caring and pinache of Dwight(the 40+ year veteran server who has just become the co owner) resulted in a transformative dining experience. Any commuter from the beach and/or visitor to the Oregon Pinot noir valley would do themselves a disservice to skip this experience.

Fine lunch in this upper Willamette wine country landmark restaurant. Interesting menu items, hard to choose(always a good sign). Settled on an excellent wild mushroom risotto and an even better smoked rabbit sausage dish. Knowledgeable and friendly service. Décor a little dated, but there is so much wine country history that happened inside these four walls. Wine list is extraordinary, could use a few lower cost choices for balance. Great place, don’t be put off by the dull exterior.

Wonderful meal. I had the lamb — it was heavenly. The sauce was unusual — ok but a little voluminous. My husband had the ribs which he described as devine. Our friends had the tenderloin(seasoned well — good) and roasted duck — a little overlooked but ok. The fruit crumble had a disappointing crumble but the peaches were wonderfully fresh and ice cream great. Definitely worth going and walking distance from our accommodations.
