Horrible service, filthy restaurant, terrible food! Their Lobster Roll is Surimi ! They see nothing wrong with calling it Lobster and charging Lobster price for it. When brought to my table, I refused it with out even tasting it ! the owner argued with me and tried to tell me it was Lobster. After a very spirited debate, she finally admitted it was«Lobster Delight» AKA imitation Lobster, Surimi. She didn’t see any thing wrong with this; and couldn’t understand that this is fraud! Their«Fresh ground bison burger is actually preformed frozen patty. She couldn’t understand that calling previously frozen meat«fresh» was also fraud. I suspect their grouper isn’t really grouper either… Very unethical people! I don’t trust them and will never be back!

This place is horrible. Don’t waste your time the food is low quality cooked poorly from bad recipes. Waitress comes by and checks your beer by putting her hand over the top picking it up and shaking it. I have been to the bathrooms and her hands could not pass a germ test. Great location that loses on every other count

We stopped here because it’s right off the bike path. The food was just ok. We order the quinoa salad, which I was happy to see on the menu. We also ordered red pepper hummus. Both were pretty bland, they weren’t bad just not a lot of flavor. However, after riding in the Florida sun they have delicious cold beer, wine and cocktails! Fun atmosphere! If they could just work on more flavor this place will be great!

What a change from the previous owners! The new menu is very good — we’ve taken to going every Sunday, and we’ve tried most of it — with the seafood being the best thing to order so far(logically). Try the crab cake rolls and the lobster jalapeño rolls. The grouper tacos and shrimp basket are excellent too, as is the salad. The owners and staff are terrific people who are delightful to hang out with too.

Formally Jolly Mons, Salty Dawz has not changed anything except the menu. Great place right on the trail. They have live music, nice place to nosh and jam. Unfortunately, a much needed update has not been done. We went in the evening and ordered ahi tuna, steamed mussels and the bison burger. The ahi was very good but there was a grey sauce(very unappetizing) on the plate that had no flavor at all.(it was a wasabi sauce) The mussels looked good, nice and fresh, covered with bits of garlic. Too bad the beards were still attached and they were full of sand. in addition, the garlic was flavorless and the broth for dunking the bread was just dirty water. The bison burger was a perfectly formed patty(frozen) served with a shred of pale lettuce, a small unripe slice of tomato and a couple rings of red onion, no pickle; bland, and undercooked .The side of Dawg fries were gooey, mushy chips, no seasoning. We may stop by again because it’s a great venue but will not be eating! I have to say that the service was efficient.
