We enjoy the doughnuts here a lot. Each time we are always greeted rudely and the customer service is lacking though. It’s unfortunate because this is such a great place for Dunn. I hope this improves and the demeanor of the employees can match the quality of the menu.

The only thing I have had here are the doughnuts and they are amazing. If you’ve ever heard of Sandra’s Bakery in Sanford, they are identical to the doughnuts there except the shape. I’m glad I don’t have to drive all the way to Sanford to get some good doughnuts now!

If you want breakfast in Dunn, Sherrys serves it just like they did years ago! Best doughnuts, and baked goods in town. I’d eat here every morning if it were physically possible.

A must try for sweet treats, breakfast or lunch. The food is complimented by the wonderful and caring staff that assist you at Sherry’s. Give it a try.

I’m in Dunn visiting with my parents and I wanted something sweet. They recommended Sherry’s and I am so glad that they did. The donuts are some of the best I’ve had. So good!

Awesome donuts. Layered chocolate cake is really good. I have never eaten at the restaurant part though

If you want a quick, down home meal of some of the best sweets available to man, Sherry’s is it! I always go for the double cheeseburger combo and an oatmeal cookie. DELICIOUS. My only downside is that they regularly miss my lettuce and tomato but charge me for it. The staff(apart from Ms. Sherry herself) could use an attitude booster but they’re still great!

They make all of our kids’ birthday cakes. A bit pricey cuz while it has a cake kit it’s not the really done up ones. The key is, the cakes are actually fresh and delicious. Their crème filled donuts are really good. So is the pound cake, choc. Ten layer, pineapple, red velvet, coconut and cupcakes. I have had better red velvet though, although it’s good. Cheeseburgers have too much gristle. Stick with the cakes and donuts. The oatmeal pies everyone raves about taste weird. Maybe it’s the spices. Just not that amazing. Those crème filled donuts are though… The ladies treat our children so kind when they order their special pastry. The kids always leave happy.

Disclaimer: we only hit the dessert counter, so I can’t day anything about the breakfast or lunch experience. The café is huge… plenty of places to sit. The dessert counter is on the left side, and man is there plenty to choose from. They are known for their donuts, but I honestly didn’t get the hype. The cakes along the wall looked really good, but where it’s at for me is the oatmeal cookie sandwich. Holy moly… this is not little Debbie. This is amazing, homemade, delicious. I could eat one every day. Thank sweet baby Jesus that Sherry’s is too far for quick trips. I would be in trouble! I would definitely stop in again for a sweet treat… that icing is the stuff dreams are made of!

You can’t go wrong with the bright leaf hot dogs all the way. Try the donuts, 10 layer chocolate cake or the carrot cake. But I highly recommend the oatmeal cream cookies. They are huge and totally the bomb.

I’ve only every eaten their doughnuts, and I have to say, they are pretty darn awesome. The ladies that work their are pretty cranky most of the time.

Awesome small town donut shop food! The staff is friendly and the donuts are unparalleled by any in the local area. I didn’t give them five stars only because the acual restaurant itself could use some updating in the décor area. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Homemade, incredible food — and ridiculously low prices. I was just passing through there today. Hot dogs were two for $ 2 — and soooo good. I’d love to find that kind of deal anywhere in the Triangle. I don’t have a sweet tooth but I just had to bring some goodies for my wife — who said it was the kind of cake that old Alabama church ladies used to bake when she was growing up. It’s that good! If I’m ever passing through again, I will certainly go there.

Best Donuts in the area! Just make sure they don’t squeeze in an old donut when you buy a dozen. The staff is not very friendly though…

Sherry’s bakery is a great find! The cakes, cookies and doughnuts are delicious. My sister swears by the oatmeal cream cookie(which I like too). I love the doughnuts and red velvet cake. I’ve also eaten at the diner here, which is pretty cool. Reminds me of an old-fashioned lunch spot. I would definitely go here for the baked goods, as they are a treat.
