Super 8 Dunn

In town for a week, stayed here 2 nights and then moved to the quality inn next door. I guess the usual cleaning of rooms is foreign here in the Carolinas! The covers on the bed were disgusting and when asked about cleaning we were told it would be an extra 20 dollars! Do yourself a favor and drive a bit further down the road and avoid this dump.

FIVE STARS for this Super 8! Considering it’s not a five star hotel, this place does get five stars on the Super 8 scale! I’ve stayed at tons of Super 8’s on many different across-​the-​nation road trips and second to the one in South Dakota, this one is pretty dang good!
My husband didn’t have a great experience with the lady working night shift (attitude and unhelpful) but the day time lady who was preparing breakfast, who is obviously the authority figure on staff (very assertive and professional), was courteous, polite and very pleasant!
Breakfast was good, they had all the usuals such as cereals, oatmeal, toast, Smuckers packaged cinnamon rolls, apples, yogurt and a Belgian waffle maker. For beverages there was coffee and orange juice. Satisfactory.
Great walking spaces and big yard areas for the doggies to sniff and potty! The yards were clean for the most part too, which is nice to see they take care of their property!
The rooms were pretty cute! The beds had nice plush sheets, the mattresses were very comfortable and obviously a step up from the very bottom line of mattresses, loved the quaint picture above the bed (definitely added a bit of finesse) and the flat screen in the wall was a FANTASTIC touch!
If I want to get picky, the only thing I would add would be a non-​slip mat in the tub, it was so slippery!
Overall everything was fantastic!

I have stayed there twice. The first stay I was going to Florida. The room was OK but not great for the price. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean, but if you ask me, the room should be equipped with newer accessories. The cable service was good, and free. The wifi wasn’t great, but it was available for free. The free waffles were not very good, though.
I was coming back from florida, and my relatives discovered a cockroach in the electric outlet. Plus, we were not in good moods, so we had a bad stay.
So, it was worth 2 stars in my opinion. We payed $ 69 and got $ 25 in service
