There was a THICKBLACKCURLYHAIR in my curry… Say no more. So grossed out that will puke just driving by this place. Never ever ever ever!

Been here many times, it’s outlasted a lot of other Indian places and today was better than past visits. It’s almost a 1 guy place with plastic plates etc. style buffet. Only been at lunchtime but he makes some of the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. Not a huge selection but far less crowded than Viceroy gets and is less than $ 10 with tax. Don’t be surprised if no one is behind counter when you walk in, grab a plate and seat yourself and get your food.

Solid takeout. Big flavor. On par with highly rated Indian restaurants in Atlanta. Consistently good.

$ 8.99 for weekday buffett. not a big buffett and a little bit spicy. good for the price.

Love this place. It won’t win any awards for ambiance, but the food is delicious. I work pretty close to here, and I crave it often enough that I end up there at least once every couple of weeks.

Excellent meal. Coconut Soup was great. A little bit to heavy on the mushrooms but wonderful. Drunken noodles were outstanding. Will be back soon and often

This is an indian hole in the wall place… i call it hole in the wall because they are literally tiny with no interiors at all. and worst of all they have a indian regional movies playing in the dining area all the time(if we can call it as a dining area) But food is just amazing… i have been here countless times, specially for dinner. and never have been dissappointed… my favourite is Biryani, specially mutton biryani… also they have nice tawa chicken … And i will tell you the reason their food is good… because they try catering to the Indian migrant population rather than folks from here… so they keep it authentic and spicy…

I wish I could bathe in the masala sauce… it was that good. I live right around the corner from here and I have been truly missing out. Just like everyone else said its not a place to take a first date(no shade) but if you can take your date here and enjoy the food together you need to marry. I got the goat masala and the garlic naan. you should have seen my sad face when all I had left was bones. Just enough heat and spices… lawd it was good. Garlic naan was addictive too. The owner was SOSO nice!!! I want to come back one day to try their lunch buffet.

This is not a place to sit and relax and enjoy the ambience. There are a couple of tables but lets face it, it’s not cute at all. I order take-out here about three times a month. Their chicken tikka masala is the best I’ve had. The butter chicken is similar but sweeter and is actually my favorite dish! The chicken biryani is tasty as well. The veggie samosa is delectable. The garlic naan is out of this world! It’s near my condo so you know I’m a happy girl

First time here and in town on business. from Chicago and know good Indian. Food here is exceptional. Décor is very spartan so definitely not for a first date I’d suggest. If you are looking for excellent Indian food for an excellent price look no further. Be aware though that the inside is not meant to impress. Ate samosas followed by tikka masala. Both highly recommended. No shortcuts with masala. Tandoor cooked chicken, we’ll spiced and fabulous sauce. Solid heat from both dishes, but in no way overpowering.

If you like spicy, look no further! The food here is amazing. I can’t get enough of the butter chicken here. It’s all amazing. An $ 8.99 lunch buffet makes it all affordable too! Don’t miss it!

I ate here five times in eight days. It is truly amazing. It is about a mile or so from my house. Very dangerous. There are so many good things to eat here. I always do the lunch buffet. My staples are chicken curry, butter chicken, sambar, naan, and the biriyani(I’ve seen goat, chicken, and lamb – he rotates). There’s always vegetable biriyani as well. The tandoori chicken is very good. If you dig Indian food, just keep going back and you’ll soon learn his rotation. Okra fry, potato fry, eggplant curry, cauliflower, saag paneer, and several others depending on the schedule. On occasion he runs out of something and you have to wait but not for long. The naan isn’t always fresh at the buffet but as soon as it runs out he brings fresh naan to your table. The fresh naan here is amazing. Sometimes the warmers on his buffet don’t do the greatest job at keeping the food hot but it’s never cold or anything. The owner is a really soft spoken man that always smiles and is always very friendly. This place truly has a home cooked meal vibe going for it. It is currently not only my #1 favorite Indian food, but actually my favorite restaurant.

Went there last week for a weekday Lunch. They had Indian buffet for $ 8.99. The buffet had plenty of options — 4 Meat Options, 4 Veg options, Rice and Naan, and Dessert. Food was authentic North Indian. They had one of the best Biryanis in Atlanta. South Indian specials like the Sambhar were only 4 star, while its north Indian counterparts were clearly 5 star. They are not upscale dining and had styrofoam plates. It is not the place you go for upscale dining, but for real, authentic, and very tasty and cheap north Indian food, this is the place to go to.

Take out Indian in Dunwoody. Good to great quality food. Large portions for the price. A very plain storefront with delicious food.

The other reviewers aren’t joking, the biryani is pretty freaking good. I also tried the chicken 65, that was delish as well. I need to come back and get my buffet on. I don’t feel like writing anymore, just go and do yourself a favor and get the biryani — chicken, mutton it’s good.

Bay Leaf is as «Hole in the Wall» as it gets. Located in a tired strip mall with some other great restaurants, Bay Leaf is easy to miss. The inside is bare, with nothing in the way of décor or ambiance. My first thought upon entering was of leaving without anyone noticing, but we were immediately greeted so we decided to stay. At $ 7.99 we decided the buffet was worth a try. We gathered up our Styrofoam plates and plastic forks and hit the food. There were three meat and three vegetarian choices, as well as appetizer, naan bread, rice, soup, and desert options. Everything was fantastic. While not spiced over the top, nothing was bland. The saag paneer was great, aloo gobi was hearty, samosas were not typical, but fresh and fantastic. My friend who is Indian gave high marks to the meat dishes. The Gulab Jamun, one of the items on my «last meal on earth» list were fresh, obviously made there, hot and delicious. Indian movies play in the background, serving to break up the monotony of this spartan shop. Bay Leaf is definitely not the place for a impress a date or a prospective client. It is definitely a great place to grab a quick lunch with your homies. Service is friendly, prices are fair, food is great. So while it gets no stars for it’s looks, it gets four stars for it’s food.

Been there few weeks ago when, I was In Atlanta. Its in a strip mall with other ethnic cuisine restaurants near multiple office complexes. Its easy to miss the place. One of our friends suggested this place as it is under new management . The place is a no frills eat place. It has a dine in area for around 30 – 40 people at a time. I was there for lunch time and looks like they started a lunch special and buffet during the lunch. we tried the Mutton biryani, Naan, Chicken Curry. The quantity was sufficient to share among group of 3. The food was tasty, aromatic and well spiced. we can definitely tell that its made fresh. Biryani was the best I tasted in a long time. The meat was tender, juicy and well spiced. This place serves lots of take outs. Great place to eat out or carry out. Its a bang for your buck.
