Before I knew what a scam face logic was I fell for this one and joined here. Then I went back one day(not too far from my parent’s house) and it was closed! We live part time closer to the NW suburbs where the same thing happened to me at the S Barrington location. I got one facial there which was so so before losing all the money I paid in my membership for a package! This place isn’t here anymore so needs to be marked as closed but stay away from all of them. Seriously, don’t let the $ 49 facial price fool you into getting a membership here. I joined right after they opened, and was assigned to Katie, who was FANTASTIC. She talked with me about my skin care routine, and really addressed my issues. After a few appointments with her, she left her position a few days before my next appointment, and no one bothered to tell me; I showed up with no idea that I wasn’t seeing her, and I sat in the front room for ten minutes before someone I didn’t know came out and explained to me that I was seeing someone else from now on. Luckily, the woman I got after that was Jessica, who was also fantastic. Unfortunately, again, she left her position(first red flag) and I wasn’t told until I showed up, where I was assigned to Juliet, who was AWFUL. She didn’t read my chart or ask me any questions about my skin care routine, obviously didn’t know how to do the facial I wanted,(half my hour was spent with her scraping a mask off my face) and she left her gloves on the entire time, which was uncomfortable, and my face bright pink when I left. I immediately switched to someone else, who was decent, but never consistent. Most of the time, she didn’t give me a massage at all, and she left me alone for long periods of time during my facials. She didn’t even take off my eyemakeup. Another few bad points: there’s a $ 20 late fee for canceling without 24 hours notice. Stuff happens and sometimes you can’t make it, I find it ridiculous to be charged $ 20 for this. Halfway through my membership, the company changed the date they charged my credit card without bothering to tell their customers, as a result, I was charged several overage fees; when I brought this up to the staff, I was promised a callback from the manager. I played phone tag with her for at least a month and then just gave up. The setup is really uncomfortable, it’s retail space with curtains dividing different little rooms… you can hear everything going on in the space next to you, it’s always really drafty in there, and impossible to get comfortable. I can’t really say anything good about this place — the decent employees left. Bottom line: You get what you pay for, and seriously, save your money… You can pay twice as much and get a fabulous facial or waste $ 49 here.(Or $ 79 if you upgrade to a «premium» facial, which is actually just them using Peter Thomas Roth masks and products on you — buy them yourself.)
