Burn Bootcamp is the place to go if you have never worked out in your life or have been active your whole life and need some guidance. I have been at bootcamp for more then six months and have seen awesome results. But that’s not all! The community of woman there is amazing and always supportive, I always feel motivated to get up in the morning and go because I know I will be greeted with a smile every time.

I can honestly say that Burn Bootcamp Durham has been life changing for me! I joined in August 2013, and have not looked back! Thanks to the positive encouragement, motivation, and awesome workouts of owner/head trainer, Erin, I have lost over 50 lbs and gone down 8 dress sizes. This program works! But even more importantly, the community of women at Burn Bootcamp is outstanding! Supportive, fun, and all ages and levels. Many are moms, and there is on-site child care too. Trainers provide weekly one-on-one focus meetings to help you meet your nutrition and fitness goals too. I would recommend Burn Bootcamp Durham for all women!

I have been a Burn Boot Camp member since March 2015. At the time, I was way out of shape and hadn’t been on any consistent fitness plan for about a year. I found BBC through a Groupon. The gym is is a large one-room, brightly lit facility with high ceilings and lots of windows. The perimeter of the room served a storage for weights, battle ropes, kettle bells, Bosu balls, pull-up bars, etc… There’s also a smaller room for childcare and two restrooms — one has a shower. The best part of this place is the owner: Erin Studdard. Erin’s a super positive and encouraging coach. She knows everybody’s name and fitness goals. She pushes you without yelling or berating you. The other coaches are great too but Erin is my fave! The other campers are super supportive and caring. A high five or «good job today» from someone is a common occurrence. There’s no stuffiness, arrogance or cliques — just a diverse group of women getting stronger together. In addition to the bootcamp classes, you get Focus meetings that help you identify mental and physical goals. I freaking love this place!

As part of a local Facebook parents group(SoDu represent!), I was casually reading posts and noticed there was an offer for 45a lot of FREE days at this gym. At the time, I had been grumpy and complaining about my weight and health constantly. I wasn’t happy with myself and the way I felt. Frumpy, grumpy, lumpy, depressed, tired. Blah… I had trouble running and playing with my little ones. And never felt like going outside or doing anything sporty. This was exactly what I needed for motivation. Try it out for free, what could it hurt? Six months later, I am in the best shape of my life. My stamina and endurance have improved drastically. I am more than twenty pounds lighter and my psyche has benefitted immensely from knowing how much stronger I am. My goal was not just to lose weight, but to find a lifestyle change that worked for me. Burn Bootcamp gave me what I needed. I am healthier. I am happier. I eat better(almost always). And I am STRONGer. I am so thankful to have found this place, and can’t imagine my life without this beautiful community. Erin and Christin are the BEST trainers I could have ever hoped to encounter. Their motivation and encouragement would be hard to duplicate. And the women, the women!!! Truly, this community is irreplaceable. We motivate each other. We give high fives and shout out encouraging words and make sure if we see someone struggling they hear & know that they CAN do it. Burn Bootcamp is the place to be if you are ready to make a real and lasting change. I have started a new life and am so excited to see what’s in store in the future! Come out and check us out!!!

Stumbled across this place after a google search for a workout place that would hold me accountable and have some form of childcare(new mom here). Finally decided to check it out. The place is located in an open air plaza right off the road, and took me a second of driving to find it. First impression of the facility — great open space, nice equipment, and a great upbeat owner that greeted me at the door: Erin Studdard. She was so motivational throughout the whole workout and remembered everyone’s name. The workout itself: WHEW! It had me close to passing out for my first time. Erin does an amazing job of tailoring and modifying to your level/injuries, which is important. She also implies a full lifestyle approach, focusing on nutrition/diet and a balanced intake aside from the high intensity workout. I wasn’t bored for a single minute. The thing that gets this place five stars is that they have childcare in the facility. The person watching the kids is super nice and seems to handle kids very well. Also, all the ladies that I met were super friendly and welcoming to newcomers! I look forward to going back for more! Definitely give this place a try!
