Durham Cleaners and Laundromat

I have been taking my shirts to them for years. This week I discovered they did not return the cuffs to one of my dress shirts.
On ¹²⁄₂₂ I went back to see if they had them and was given the run around. The representative told me they would call me back that day after speaking to the owner, which never occurred.
I got the impression they believe they do not make mistakes, the customer is wrong.
There is another dry cleaner nearby, I will patronage their business instead.

I have used this cleaner for the past year after a friend recommended it but that ends today! Two weeks ago I dropped off several items to be cleaned and some to be altered. I have never been a fan of the staff at this cleaners but for the previous trips the time, price, and service were all good. Today I returned with a blazer that I picked up two weeks ago but had not wore with a complaint that it was not cleaned to my standard. The first employee said «smells like dry cleaning to me» after smelling the garment in the left arm after I specifically stated it was the RIGHT side of the garment that was not clean. She then asked another employee to come over and the woman looked and said well you picked it up two weeks ago, keep in mind that I dropped off 5+ items, we normally do not re-​clean if it is not within 24 hours! I say okay but it’s not an item I wear often so it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized that this one item was not cleaned well. This employee proceeds to explain that this time they will re-​clean the blazer but in the future they can not. To this I responded with never mind I’ll go somewhere else and not return here. I’m a customer who spent $ 60+ at your business and I bring one item back one time that I’m unsatisfied with you have a poor attitude because it was not within 24 hours. No where is this policy stated. I will no longer spend my money in a place that can not stand behind their work.
Poor customer service is a common occurrence here find another cleaner!

I have gone to this dry cleaner several times. The service is mediocre. It always bothers me that the staff dresses so frumpy. My clothes come out nice but I hate how they shove a ton of items in each garmet bag. I got some tailoring done here. The items came out nicely but i felt it was pretty expensive compared to most places. Overall, the dry cleaning quality is good but the staff could improve. I feel the drive thru service is worthless, every time I pull up I wait forever and finally just go in the store. I will still use this cleaner on occassion but it is not my first choice.
