Best of here where pizza primarily comes from chains and contain absurd toppings. For those from where pizza matters… Might as well be any of the original famous ray’s knockoffs.

Had this delivered, took 1.5 hours during lunch. Arrived kinda warm, it was quite good though. I would eat at the restaurant but probably won’t order delivery again.

I love the pizza they make. It’s so good and really big. I also like that they have a coupon on their boxes that you can use and if you get a combo and pick up they have a loyalty card that they punch for you. When dining there the staff is very friendly. The delivery is super slow and we have had issues with the drivers going to the wrong address and items missing from our orders. It has gotten so bad that my husband mo longer wants to order from them but I love their pizza so I have him pick up instead and it elmintaes our issues.

Pizza ok, execution and delivery sub-par. Took over an hour to get the pizza, but was still kind of warm. Would have been fine, but also messed up another part of the order… Not my favorite.

Randy’s is the best pizza I have found in the triangle. That classic NY style. It’s a good value on a big pizza. The Hope Valley Road location seems to put out a better softer crusted pizza so I always go there but it’s still Randy’s.

Had a meeting with my employees and order 5 pizzas to feed my crew as we had the meeting found the pizza to be just alright. They have asked me to try other places before using them again. Might try again but as a walk in and see if its any better. Everyone needs a 2nd chance at times! Just not sure!

This place is the best. They came out in horrible weather and delivered really good food. I got the eggplant parm. and my friend got the calzone. They were great and hugh portions. We also got the New York Cheesecake and it is the best cheesecake I have had in this area. I must say however in the past we have not liked their pizza as much but I think we will have to try it again since this experience was so great!!!

This is my favorite pizza place in the area. I have been coming to this location since they opened almost 20 years ago and I’m yet to be disappointed. Really every Randy’s location I’ve been to is very consistent, and I should mention I worked at another location for a summer years ago and they absolutely take their tradecraft very seriously. They make their pizza dough and sauce from scratch daily, and they are both amazing! The crust is crispy, chewy, and light; and the sauce has a rich bold tomato flavor always with a noticeable oregano finish. They have the best cheese pizza I’ve had anywhere outside of NYC. Their specialty pizzas are just as good as their traditional ones, but the BBQ Chicken is the standout for me. Never seen this anywhere else, but they use a mustard based BBQ sauce with a great sweet vinegary flavor and it’s just mixes perfectly with the chicken and mozzarella. I’ve also had their Hawaiian, Meat Lovers, Vegetarian, Margherita, and White Spinach, and liked them all. If your a fan of any of these pizzas you will love them from here. My favorite from that bunch is the white spinach and tomato. I should mention they have a lasagna pizza, which is another one I haven’t seen elsewhere, that has meatballs on the pizza(which is the best if you have never had it), but it has too much ricotta on it for my taste, still a great pizza though. All the other pizza place fair is good here, sub’s, garlic knots, chicken wings, calzones, stromboli, etc; but the pizza is amazing.

Haven’t been to this location in a while, so myself and a co-worker stopped in today and grabbed a few slices. When I tell you they were delicious, Delicious with a capital P for pizza! Great stop for me and my co-worker! Get you some!

The Northgate location is superior in food quality and customer service. We recently had takeout order issues w/this location and we’re pretty much told we had to deal with it.

One of my girlfriends and I stopped by here on the way to Charlotte to get nom noms. The guys that work here are super nice. I got mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and fries. My friend got 2MASSIVE slices of pizza. Everything was really yummy and well priced. We also got 1 chocolate chip cookie each which were really tasty I would stop by here again even just for the french fries which are baller!

I’ve been To a lot of pizza joints. This one is above average and I enjoyed it. The staff had made a deep fried cookie that I sampled and it was delicious. The only thing keeping Randy’s from 5 stars is the ambiance. It’s in a strip mall with no personality. The staff was great.

Big NYC style slices that taste great. Never got anything else because I am so pleased with NYC slices. Definitely not cheap buy worth every red cent for big slices!

The food is great but very disappointed in the fact that a month ago we were in the store and asked if he would deliver to our house five miles away. He asked the driver while we were there and the driver said yes. Tonight the driver said no. Guess they dont want our business.

For a chain a good traditional pizza with REAL mushrooms. Nice thin crust. Asked for it crispy and they did a good job. We also had the wings, which were small but tasty. The sauce was just poured over the wings and they could have done a better job with that but for a quick bite after a movie this place hit the spot. Staff friendly. Open to 10 pm.

I MISSRANDY’S! I used to live in Durham 3 years ago but now I’m in Chicago. I’ve been missing New York Style pizza so much it hurts. I happened to be passing through Durham and pulled the family over to Randy’s to quench that taste I’ve missed for so long. Check out the Big Honkin deal and get a family sizes portion of NY style pizza so good you too will cross the country to get it.

So, my cheese pizza came an hour after I ordered it due to confusion with my complicated address, and it was stiiiill delicious. But I am partial to room temperature pizza. Regardless, solid sauce that isn’t too sour, floppy chewy/crispy crust that wasn’t soggy, and good amount of cheese(slightly less salty than Amante’s). 14″ had 10 smallish slices(i.e., not those gigunda mammoth big slices you’d probably get if ordering by the slice) and with tax was $ 13.81. Delivery time can be long(they estimated 45 minutes), but whatevs – this place is delicious. Highly recommended.

I don’t like Randy’s pizza quite as much as I used to. I ordered for take-out recently. Their pizza seemed to lack sauce and thus flavor. As mentioned in other reviews, their pizza is so thin, it’s not hot anymore by the time you get it home. I think eating in and getting pizza by the slice is the best way to go. Their salads are quite pricey for what you get also.

My favorite pizza in the area. I love Randy’s, it’s big, floppy slices of New York style pizza with just enough sauce to notice and great toppings. If you like thick, bready pizza, don’t come here, they only serve the good stuff. Two locations in south Durham, another at RTP, and another at Northgate. There may be others I’m not aware of, though.

I love Randy’s! It is always good and fresh. I haven’t tried enough other pizza places to *officially* crown it the best, but it is the best I have had in the area so far. The crust is really good. Thin, New York style. Sauce is always good, and there is always plenty of cheese. Delivery guys are always timely. I way prefer Randy’s over Papa Johns. While Papa Johns has the convenience of ordering online, Randy’s just tastes more… handmade and fresh. Also, I like that the pizzas are big«New York style» — this is a lot more convenient than Papa John’s pizza sizes.
