Pizza Hut

I like Pizza Hut, but this location is vile!!! I ordered a pizza and cheese sticks for pick up, which they said would take 40 minutes. Assuming it wouldn’t take that long (and not minding if I had to wait) I went ahead and drove over a little early, leaving them only about 20 minutes to have my order ready. When I walked in, my pizza was already done, but had been sitting out and was already cold. I can’t imagine what I would’ve gotten had I waited the full 40 minutes. Aside from that, the pizza was disgusting — cold pizza doesn’t bother me at all, but this pizza was just nasty. They spilled cinnamon on my pizza and cheese sticks (even though I didn’t order cinnamon sticks!), so my food basically just tasted like greasy cinnamon. Aside from this, the girls inside were rude, which is totally unacceptable. I won’t be back to this location ever. I’ll drive 20 minutes to Guess Rd and heat my pizza up if needed.

This is the worst takeout experience that I have ever has. Absolutely NO sense of customer service whatsoever, and entirely unapologetic about it. Delivered the wrong pizza and acted as it they did a favor to deliver the correct pizza, 2 hours after I had placed the order. The delivery driver was incredibly rude. Avoid this place at all costs — many other options in Durham, do not waste your money here.

Absolutely astoundingly horrible service. DO NOT order from this place. We ordered 20 pizzas to arrive at 6:45 pm for an event that started at 7 pm and ended at 8 pm. Pizza never showed up, and we had to send 70 people home hungry at 8 pm. Two people on our committee called; the first person was put on hold for ten minutes, and the second person was hung up on once the staff realized what pizzas we were asking about. Everyone knows Pizza Hut is like the Arby’s of pizza, but not even I expected this low level of service. They’ll have to invent a new circle of Tartarus!

Not a bad pizza hut. My only complaint is that the staff are not in any way trying to hide just how much they hate there job. I’ve been in here several times waiting for pizza and the girl at the register won’t look at anyone in the face.

On May 28, 2015 at around 5pm I went to Pizza Hut with the intentions of purchasing 3 large pizzas with wings, however I didn’t get as far as to order because the young lady whom was taking the orders were so nasty and unprofessional. Before I could place my order her disrespect for me as a customer was intolerant to the point I just told her to discharge the sale and left to drive further down the street to Dominoes where I had an amazing experience along with good pizza.
I will not return no time soon.

Tonight, the staff (especially Sarah and another young woman whose name I didn’t get) went above and beyond. This location has always had truly nice staff!
My daughter and I stopped last minute on the way home to grab a pizza for home. While waiting on the pizza, I inadvertently drained my car battery. I went in to buy a drink for my kid and the lady whose name I didn’t get asked around if anyone had jumper cables. Sarah said yes and promptly did everything to get my car started! Didn’t even bat an eye! It was done in less than 5 minutes. She laughed and said, we can’t let your pizza get cold!
We’re home now and pizza is warm and great!

Warning!!! Do not order delivery or pay with your debit card! I ordered pizza to Duke Hospital and when my order arrived an hour later it looked like someone stomped on our pizza and put it back in the box… how are these people with jobs? How is this location even still opened? Terrible customer service and now I have to wait for a 20 something $$ order to be refunded!!! Oh and by the way still currently hungry.

I’ve never had a problem with the staff and any problem I’ve called about, the staff member I talk to is accountable and apologetic.
Tonight I’m super hungry and ordered some wings in an effort not to travel to wing stop. Bleu cheese is different, no chunks, a little sweet. I felt the chicken was a a little bland for being coated in sauce, maybe cooked a touch more? but it is definitely edible and decent food. I ordered two, garlic parm and buffalo mild. I feel I have had better of both at another time, but still not bad enough to make me call them.
I love Pizza Hut, though i know i shouldnt. usually get a pizza wings and breadstick box, delicious, crispy, hot… don’t know what happened with the wings today.
I spoke with a really nice employee this evening, Aaliyah, she was polite, personable and professional! They get an extra star just for her patience with me and my pregnancy brain tonight :-)

This Pizza Hut is take out or delivery only and located in a strip mall next to Saladelia Café. No tables inside or out. With Pizza Hut you basically know what you are getting no matter which location. Most locations are franchisees.

This place is really hit or miss, when it comes to the service the provide. I have had perfect experiences and I have also had absolutely awful ones. If your going to order from here then do yourself a favor and pick up your pizza instead of having it delivered at least that way you can prevent most of the issues you are likely to encounter here.
I have had multiple times that I have placed delivery orders and either the order never showed up or took in excess of 3 hours to arrive, of course after waiting for 3 hours for a pizza I had already eaten something else because I got tired of waiting.
I will say that the 15% of the time they get everything right the pizza is top notch when it comes to fast food pizza.
