What kind of laundromat closes for the winter? What kind of idiot owners leave on a neon light that says«24 Hour Laundromat,» while closed for the winter. Ridiculous.

They are currently closed for winter, I believe the sign on their door says they will re-open in March. I came in once in November to wash my comforters, I have a tiny stackable washer and dryer which couldn’t handle that kind of load. The laundromat itself is pretty rundown and sketchy looking. The metal chairs are absolutely frightening and waiting for a lawsuit to happen; consider sitting on them if you are up-to-date on your tetanus shot. Many of the machines were out of order, not a huge deal… but the change machine was a bit of a headache and I ended up trading 10’s for 5’s and then 1’s at Chubby’s. By this point I was committed to the laundromat and decided to use the bigger washer up front, which only uses cold water. It was pretty expensive, I think $ 7. I used two dryers afterward without any issues, they seemed to work well. After I got home I noticed my sky blue comforter was discolored. Maybe slightly bleached? My brown comforter seemed fine, no mystery stains or discolorations. I was really disappointed though as my blue comforter was my nicer one and I assume bleach or something was leftover in the washer. I won’t be back.

Horrible place. The only reason it’s getting one star is because zero stars is not an option. It’s gone down hill since I was last there a few years ago. I went there last night and found roaches in one of the dryers! Tried to call the manager several times and no answer. Will not be going back.

WAY too expensive, and their coin machine doesn’t take new $ 5 bills. WTF? You’re better off going down the street to White Star. They’re only open until 8, but are much cheaper and their dryers dry faster. Also, they randomly close for months at a time when the owners decide to go on vacation out of the country… that’s not how to run a business that keeps customers, if you ask me. Had clothes stolen from here, which I suppose is normal for laundromats if you leave anything unattended for more than a couple minutes. This, I can blame myself for. The only feasible reason to come here is if you’re in a pinch and need a 24 hour laundromat.

Horrible. There’s nothing redeeming about this place. use your sink before you go here.

I called the owner, mr bill fields, because the machine wasn’t turning on for me, and he came to the store and flew into a violent rage, threatening to kick my f ass, then he called his sons and they cornered me, all because of a dispute over a machine. He kept on trying to fight me and I got out of there and called the police. All I can say is it was the most insane and surreal thing I’ve ever been a part of. The cops came and said yeah we’re used to this guy… Do NOT go here. Mostly because the guy violently threatened a customer over a couple quarters.

When the loads are too much and you need a nice quiet place to do your laundry, I recommend Fields… Of course, you are on Ninth Street, so while waiting for the laundry to finish there are all kinds of cool shops and restaurants to visit… Or maybe the music man will be outside playing or Mr. or Mrs. Fields might stop by and give you some interesting conversation…
