Waited 15 mins for a sandwich while people who got there and ordered after me got their sand and left. Very frustrating and no apology on their part.

I am being generous giving this visit 2 stars. My husband and I stopped by last night about 7 pm to pick up subs for dinner. There was only one other customer in the restaurant and 2 staff. The 2 staff seemed to wish they were anywhere other than Jimmy Johns. They did take our money and our order but seemed to wish we had not bothered them. They made our sandwiches and my husband asked for his to be toasted. The answer was«We don’t do that.» I asked for jalapenos on my veggie sandwich and was told they don’t have those… neither fresh nor pickled. Well OK. Then we had to ask for a bag to take the subs home in and when we got home there were no napkins or condiments in the bag. We added sweet and hot peppers and a few other things to the sandwiches(when we got home) and the sandwiches were OK. We live less than 2 miles away but do not plan to go back to a Jimmy Johns.

Fast and fresh but can’t ever seem to get it right… Let me start with the simplicity of ordering online, it’s great. The follow through is lacking. 1 in 4 orders are wrong. They forget the chips, forget the sprouts, forget the bacon, forget something. If you order just a straight sandwich without modifying(who does that?) the. They are probably fine. The delivery usually happens within 45 minutes in a 3 mile radius.

don’t believe the hype! Overpriced sandwiches with small meat portions and not enough toppings available.

I hardly consider myself a picky eater, and when it comes to sandwiches. It’s a sandwich how hard can it be?! I had never been to a Jimmy Johns and thought«looks good, why not try it» My excitement faded very very fast. The minute I asked where there hot sandwiches were on their menu, the man behind the counter new he was in trouble. Here is a starving 9-month pregnant lady just looking for a toasted sandwich for lunch. Jimmy John’s is a chain sandwich place no big deal right?! WRONG!!! I will never forget the conversation I had with this staff member. Me: Hi, do you have hot sandwiches? Jimmy John: No, we do not. Me: Is it possible to have one of these sandwiches toasted? Jimmy John: No, we don’t have an toaster-oven or an oven for that matter. Me: Really?! Well I’m pregnant and can’t have cold deli meat, can you just microwave the meat in advance before making my sandwich? Jimmy John: No, we don’t have a microwave either — we can’t actually heat up anything, we just serve sandwiches like this. WHHAATT?! You don’t have an oven, a toaster or a microwave?! How are you a national chain and how do you function? After that fiasco, I ended up getting a tuna sandwich which is borderline ok for pregnant women to eat. But the bread was super spongy, and the tuna was so watery it dripped out of the sub and just left it all soggy. After that, I was done with Jimmy Johns and haven’t been back since.

I don’t understand why people are complaining about no pickles… My husband got a huge whole pickle with his order. And I guess it depends on who is making them cause my sandwich had the perfect amounts of meat, cheese and bacon. My toddler(who refuses to eat) was pulling it from my hands to get bites! The French bread wasn’t ‘hard’ IMO but they do offer whole wheat and wraps I believe. All n all it was fast delivery and yummy and even label everyone’s food so there is no hustle n bustle about who got what.

I will start by saying I eat at JJ’s fairly often and I really really miss the sprouts as it was the one good thing that made them stand out. I will admit that the meat portions are really skimpy, and it’s hard to comprehend a SUBSHOP with no pickles or Salt & Pepper. But I like the bread and the quickness of the place. However, this location on Page Rd deserves 1 star compared to others. I was not greeted when I came in(Only 1 other customer in the store), was treated like I was«bothering» them by ordering & the music was offensive. The loud volume didn’t bother me but vulgar lyrics screaming GD did. This is a family place, not a bar. I won’t be back. I certainly do appreciate the Cary location as they are kind to their customers and thank them for coming in.

I usually don’t go into sub places much anymore since I have been gluten free, but we were out and about and needed a quick bite and decided to see what jimmy johns offerings were. The server behind the counter had an excellent suggestion for a lettuce wrap that was good and filling. For a fast food type of place service and food were good.

I arrived in RTP and this was the first place I saw for lunch. The place is clean people are friendly and the service is fast. I went with one of the club sub combo’s which is priced right and tasty.

As a staff growing duty during my visit or much more involved with texting talking one another and generally looking somewhat defeated. While my food came quickly the experience leading up to receiving it was a bit disappointing. If you have a choice in the matter drive an extra, I don’t know three fourths of a mile to Randy’s on Miami you can get a much better sandwich from a much better staff

The staff is rude at this location! The last time I was there they didn’t give me a receipt so on this visit I asked for a receipt when I was ordering. The kid said in a negative tone that you’ll git one wit your order. Then when I was getting my drink another staff member reached in front of me to get ice in his cup… WTF! I found a nice deli(Morrisville Deli) with fast friendly service and better hoagies with more meat and flavor than JJ! Never going back!

I’m usually a giant fan of Jimmy Johns. I used to order from them at least 2 times a week in college and never waited more than 20 minutes for delivery. Today at work I decided to order from the Jimmy Johns down the street for the first time ever. This location is less than 1.5 miles from my workplace. I waited… and waited. After 35 minutes I called and immediately got hung up on. I called back and was placed on hold. After a few minutes I heard my coworker mention they were here so so I hung up. Total time from call to delivery? 39 minutes. The sandwich was okay, but the mayo was plopped on and the bacon sparse. Not up to typical JJ standards. I realize that it was lunch rush, but if they are going to claim«freaky fast» delivery, at least tell me when I order that they’re backed up. And don’t hang up on me and then put me on hold when I call to inquire. The only plus to this experience was the guy who I placed my order with was pleasant enough. I won’t be ordering delivery from this location again.

Quick, casual, late lunch yesterday at JJ’s worked for me. I ordered my fave Vito, but specifically stated that I wanted the sauce but none of the vegetables. A few minutes later and my sandwich was up. The first thing I noticed when I opened my sandwich up was that it was chock full of onions… one of the things I loathe most in this world. After picking them off thankfully there were only a few bites with onion taste. The rest of it was a familiar friendly taste that I love about Jimmy John’s. French bread, fresh meats, and the right amount of sauce. Yummmm.

I’m really confused. I’m ‘seeing a bunch of high reviews and I’m wondering if they ate at the same place I did. I will give this place one prop. It’s fast, very fast. They make sandwiches fast. I’ve figured out why though. For reference I ordered the ‘Big John’ which was described as: Medium rare shaved roast beef, topped with yummy mayo, lettuce, and tomato. They put nothing in the sandwich. I’ve been to places that make a sandwich into a salad by putting more lettuce into the thing, I’ve seen places that put more meat than anything in the thing, and this one put a strip of roast beef in mine. A strip, I mean a single cut of beef stretched the length of the bread. oh and medium rare? Since when is brown meat stuff medium rare? rare = red, medium rare = pinkish red, there wasn’t a bit of red color spectrum anywhere on the thin piece of meat they gave me. Which brings me to complaint number two. The bread. For some reason I missed the memo where ‘take french bread, that makes a good bread for a sandwich’ was said. It doesn’t. Maybe the bread doesn’t soak up as much but hey, i mean holy cow the reason french bread doesn’t is it’s hard as a rock on the outside. Combine that with little to no fillings on the inside and you got yerself a nasty sandwich. There was so little meat that me asking for cucumbers on the sandwich that was all I tasted. Couldn’t taste the mayo, after I gnawed my way through the bread it was cucumber city. The cucumbers were so heavy they overpowered any other flavor in it. I ended up not even finishing the sandwich and going to get a coffee to wash that flavor out of my mouth. They were very strong cucumbers too. This is coming from the guy as a kid who’s parents grew cucumbers in the back yard and i’d go pick one, rinse it off, and eat it whole with a salt shaker. I love the things. These were almost bitter. They don’t offer pickles, which is like a sin for a sandwich shop. My cohort who brought me said he forgot to warn me to ask for other bread, his sandwich was liberally piled high with stuff and looked great. So either I got some newbie who doesn’t know how to make a sandwich or because my cohort was vegetarian they threw everything veggie on it but if you order meat they don’t give you any thing more than a razor thin slice.

They are good at what they do — fast, cold sandwiches. Excellent value and very fast service. This place always seems packed for lunch, but you can order online or at the curb.

I think this is as close as I’ve come to matching up to The Deli on Elden St. in Herndon, VA, in fact it’s a close second. I just got back from having the JJ Gargantuan and a lemonade. Between the salami, turkey, ham, roast beef and the other Italian meats that Gargantuan was a piled high carnivore’s delight with lettuce tomato mayo and onions for those necessary veggies. As busy as they were I may have stood in line for all of 5 or 7 minutes and my sandwich was ready before the card reader could finish processing my payment. Talk about efficiency! Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go floss my fangs and loosen my belt a notch before I take a nap. One quick Edit note: I’m getting a bit miffed about the delivery driver who thinks he has a right to park in the Handicap spots. He doesn’t have a placard in his car and each of the last half dozen or so times I’ve been there, the same JJ delivery driver is pulling into the HC spots.

This is, without question, the most efficient Jimmy John’s that I’ve ever seen. Is the food good? Sure, it’s fine. One thing that Jimmy John’s is good at is consistency, so it’s pretty much guaranteed to be just like every other Jimmy John’s you’ve ever eaten at. So, pretty much guaranteed to be good but not great. The amazing part about this location is their ability to tear through the ridiculous crush of the RTP lunchtime without breaking a sweat.
