Disappointed in my visit today… First person in at lunch and waited way too long… Sandwich got cold waiting on fries … Fries were just baked frozen fries that tasted like something you’d serve a five year old… My taste buds were very disappointed…

I used to live in NC in the 1990s and remember the horror that was southern pizza(NC please stick to your BBQ). This place wins the gold medal. A pizza shop serving this pizza like this wouldn’t survive a week above the mason dixon line.(About 4 days in Philadelphia, 2 days in Jersey and half an hour in NYC) In my childhood my worst of nightmares was Mrs. Hast(my past mean kindergarten teacher) force-feeding me this pizza.

I had a calzone and it was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The sauce tasted like it was from a jar and the crust was mediocre at best.

My coworkers and I come here for lunch fairly often as it’s close to the office and quick to get in and out of. At lunch time, you have the choice between the pizza buffet and ordering off the menu(mainly grinders and salads). I never go with the pizza buffet because it always seems on the greasy side to me, but my coworkers never complain about the pies. Seems like they have a large variety of toppings to choose from including a dessert pizza. I normally go with a turkey grinder, which can be on white or wheat. Rudino’s claim to fame is that they toast the bread with pizza style cheese in the pizza oven. This browns the cheese and makes for a tasty sandwich. The inside of the restaurant is pretty homely/old looking, but always clean. They do have a small deck with tables to eat on during the warm months. Certainly not a bad spot for a quickie lunch, but don’t expect too much.
