Perfectly good food but not much more. Not memorable for the steak sandwich and salad I had here. Friendly staff but it stopped where they actually had to do anything for you(ie.the plastic forks are over there at the other end of the restaurant if you want to eat that salad)

I’m originally from Jersey so I am particular when it comes to my pizza. My husband and I order from Randy’s at least once a week. We’ve had regular cheese and the don Vito. Both are great. The pizza is affordable and the slices are large. There isn’t much grease on the pizza. The crust is perfect. I can honestly say that this place reminds me of pizza in Jersey. They also offer free delivery within a certain mile radius which is helpful if we’ve had a long day at work.

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu has everything a pizza/pasta lover could want. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. Great place to get party food for the big games!

As I walked in the door I knew I was in a real pizza place. I travel a lot and I am sick of your run of the mill chain restaurants. I had a piece of snickers cheesecake and a Don Vito. Food was fantastic!!! The staff was Friendly, the kind of people I could sit with and have a beer. Next I am in the area I will be back!

The only good thing about this place is that they deliver promptly. The food is horrendous! I ordered an array of different items. The eggplant parm came swimming in melted cheese where the eggplant was not even identifiable. It had drowned in the sauce and cheese that had smothered it into a mush of indescribable consistency. GROSS. The side of spaghetti(that cost an extra $ 4 because the eggplant mush came as a stand alone) was served in the same container as the eggplant mush and the noodles were thick and again, overcooked. I ordered the jalapeño poppers and they were jalapeños with cream cheese breaded and deep fried. I’ve had better from the frozen food section at the supermarket. They were mushy, like everything else. The garlic bread was tough and dry even though it arrived swirling in oil, literally… three rolls that were so tough no one ate them, and they were so greasy. Ugh. Cannoli was just as bad as everything else. Skip this place. $ 30 later I had nothing but salad to eat. I would never, EVER recommend this place.

Good pizza! Stopped in from out of town and took a chance! Glad I stopped in! Reasonable price for a 18″ pie and half a dozen garlic knots.

Their prices are strange. I wanted one slice of pizza with my one topping as grilled chicken. Apparently grilled chicken is the only topping calculated as two toppings. The small sit in restaurant is super messy and for some reason it took 30 min for my slice of pizza. I probably won’t come to this location again. Ew.

I LOVE Randy’s Pizza. It’s close to my job(which is both a gift and a curse lol), and I never have a long wait time. The staff are always so nice and friendly, and I have never had a bad slice of pizza! My absolute fav is NY White w/Spinach and tomatoes.

Randys is the best. If you’re looking for NY style pizza, this is the place to be. You can usually get a couple slices in under ten minutes and they’re huge. I’ve ordered whole pizzas and by the slice here, and for some reason it’s so much better by the slice.

Randy’s pizza brought in catering for my office today. I tried a slice of the plain and was very pleased. Usually I am critical of pizza, especially outside of the NY tri-state area, but I have to say this slice held its own. Next I tried the buffalo chicken pizza and it really blew me away. Large chunks of chicken on a very soft, doughy slice hit the spot. My only criticism would be that it could have used more hot sauce and maybe some bleu cheese, but those are easy for any eater to add themselves.

Randy’s is definitely my go-to lunch place for workdays. It’s always a struggle between Tropical Smoothie Café or Randy’s, but as soon as I think of the delicious, cheesy goodness that is their Steak and Cheese Sub, my choice is made. I’m not even a fan of steak subs, but seeing how fascinated my coworkers are with their Steak and Cheese, I gave it a try, and I haven’t even wanted to try anything else since. They don’t skimp on the meat, or any other ingredients in the sub. Even during my pre-steak and cheese days when I ordered the Veal Parm Sub, they didn’t skimp on the veal. One thing I’ve noted is that they often forget our combo meal sides. The sub wil come out quickly, but if we ordered something other than chips as a side such as their fries or onion rings, make sure to ask about it or they may have forgotten about it. If you do want to come during weekdays around 11:30– 12:30 however, it is definitely a great idea to call your eat-in or take out order ahead of time even if it is just a slice. This place gets packed quickly!

Was visiting and found this place online listed as a no frills pizza parlor with awesome food to which I 100% agree. The staff was very quick and efficient, the place was clean with plenty of seats. BUTTHEFOODWASRIDICULOUSLYAWESOME. You can tell places that just slap the parts of a recipe together with boxed and frozen food. this is not one of them. Specifically, the giant calzone they gave me was one of the best ones I ever had with quality mozzarella, ricotta. not the bland stuff you get from the tub. Even the bread was awesome by itself and perfectly cooked. And the marinara wasn’t the generic stuff either. Also got an order of the garlic knots and was still eating them after they were on the counter the next day(was stuffed from the calzone), definitely recommend trying these I’ve already recommended this place to 4 or 5 co-workers, so thought I’d post it here as well.

Had, both very tasty, large Don Vito and cheese New York style pizzas delivered to the hotel after a long drive. Once I mentioned the delivery was to a hotel, I was offered plates, napkins, Parmesan and red peppers — a welcome touch.

My office often orders from Randy’s, at least one time per week if not more, but after my experience with them today I will not be giving them any more of my money. The food from Randy’s is mediocre at best — it’s decent pizza, and their salads are cut up iceberg lettuce. One time I ordered a salad and had to throw half of it out because the lettuce was brown. But, we continue to consistently order from them because of the convenience. The issue I have is the way they treat their customers. My coworker was ordering from them and I wanted to order with her. When I went to add my order, they considered it a «new ticket» and stated that I did not meet the $ 10 minimum for delivery. This was in spite of the fact that they were already going to be delivering MORE than the minimum amount to my office. In the past this was never a problem, so I am not sure why today they decided that each person needed to meet the minimum rather than counting our office as a whole. I will be sharing this information with my coworkers, and as stated earlier will not be ordering from them again. As someone who orders on the regular from them it was incredibly disappointing to be treated in this manner.

Of all the Randy’s franchises in Durham, this is our favorite. The staff here are affable, relaxed and attentive. Location has good parking but is a challenge if you are leaving and wanting to head towards Raleigh. Our first visits we had the pizza and wings. Pizza is good, but is light on the sauce. Even with requested extra sauce, it’s still sparse. The toppings and arrangements are on par with the average place and the wings are pretty average. My favorite dish, which was recommended by the owner, is the lasagna dinner. Portion is large and I can generally eat off it for a couple days, comes with a few garlic knots and a salad. The salad is nothing to write home about but the garlic knots are quite good! Soft, buttery, good punch of garlic but you won’t kill any vampires or dates you’re on. The lasagna is super rich, lots of flavorful sauce and was honestly a big surprise. The pizza is good, doubt you would be disappointed, but I suggest going the road less traveled here and try some deep cut menu choices!

This place is sort of a fast food type, pizza assembly line — no frills, no ambience, rather noisy, and a little chaotic, especially when it is crowded, and it gets crowded quickly at lunch time. There are a number of Randy’s Pizza restaurants in the Durham/Raleigh area, most seem connected, but this one does not — assume they were connected at one time. You line up, place your order at the register & pay, give them your name or they give up a number, and you wait to be called, or to have your order brought to your table. They are constantly calling out names as orders are ready, so it is noisy, and rather irritating. We ordered the 2 Slices of pizza, 1 topping and a drink for $ 6.78, a trip thru to the Salad Bar($ 3.50), and Baked Spaghetti with 3 Garlic Knots for $ 9. The trip thru the salad bar was very ordinary — tired 3 different dressings, didn’t care for any of them. The Baked Spaghetti came with meat balls, and was covered in cheese, but the tomato sauce was sweet, and otherwise bland — served in a tin foil container. Wouldn’t order the spaghetti again, nor go thru the salad bar. The pizza slices here are definitely large, and the crust is thin, but if this is NY pizza, then it is Brooklyn style, with a floppy crust — no body to it. The taste of the crust is very good, the cheese was nice, and the pepperoni was excellent. If in the area, I’d definitely stop in again for the pizza. They offer whole Specialty Pizzas, build your own whole pizzas, subs, salads, apps, calzone, stromboli, and Italian pasta dinners. I passed on their version of the stromboli because it included mushrooms & sausage, but not ham. Pricing seems reasonable especially in light of the size of the slices, and the service is friendly, and reasonably quick. But, as I said, it is noisy, and nothing here is particularly relaxing. The décor and seating area is that of a school cafeteria.
