Dr Willis is great. My whole family likes him and we’ve been going to him for a few years. We originally found him because my wife used to go to his dad when she was growing up(he still actually has his practice in the same building). They both are Dr Willis, but one goes by Stead(the son) and the other goes by Charles(the dad). I don’t think you could go wrong seeing either. Dr Willis seems to do good work. My gauge of this is that I’ve never had any issues with anything he’s done for me and my family from cleaning and exams to pulls, fillings, and crowns. He’s sincere and personable and has always taken the time to explain everything in detail beforehand and while he’s actually doing it. His staff seem great too. I have a funny story about my 12 years old son’s last visit: He was getting a filling and at some point dr willis asked him if he was uncomfortable since he seemed a bit tense but wasn’t flinching; still, something wasn’t right. My son mumbled something and then ripped a big fart… He must have been clenching his teeth trying to hold it in. As embarrassed as I was, all four of us fell about laughing(me, son, dr, and assistant). Good thing he wasn’t drilling at the time. Anyway, it was funny, but it made me think. Dr Willis was pretty spot-on about sensing his discomfort and concerned about it. He handled the situation perfectly, and said something about«you’re probably more comfortable now». after he finished the filling we all had another good laugh about it. Anyway, it’s hard not to like Dr Willis and I’m glad he was paying attention to his patient.
