Understaffed, slow, orders often have mistakes. There must have been a recent change in management. We wait for over 10 minutes just to order(and another 10 waiting for food) every time we come here.

Just left this KFC. Person selecting requested pieces can not distinguish a thigh from a leg. Always check your order before you drive off otherwise the only retort is how sorry they are. Hope this helps.

As certain as death and taxes, this place will mess up your drive-thru order. They usually mess up ~70% of mine. It’s very irritating :(I love the food, but I hate having to drive up there several times to get my order corrected. I’ll probably be going to BoJangles a little more often.

Something was very wrong with the onions today in my 7 layer burrito. They did not taste right at all. The same onions were also in the chicken burrito supreme. They were«hot» rather than«sweet» and they went out the window on I-85.

KFC/Taco Bell combo!!! Ordered a burrito and some chicken tenders. Staff was friendlier than expected and food was ready in no time! The facility is kept clean and the large glass windows allow for a nice brightness effect.

Yesterday, I went to get my landlady A chicken combo to bring to her in the nursing home. Upon opening the box, we found they had neglected to include her mashed potatoes in the order(though it was on the receipt). There is nothing sadder than the dejected face of an 83 year old lady who is missing her mashed potatoes from her order(last week the neglected to put gravy on them). I called up the store and the manager on duty said to come back and get them. I said it was too late because I was now 15 miles away. He told me to come in today, but I said I could not make it. He then told me THAT I WASOUTOFLUCK because they have a 24-hour period in which to have them correct THEIR mistake! «Oh really», I said. Well, the big mistake I made was going there in the first place and I will be HAPPY to give my $$$ to Bojangles for now on. I suggest you do the same.

Update: It’s a sad day when I have to take two stars away. Now that I am a veteran at this taco bell I have a larger sample size to score against, and unfortunately, the results are not good. I’d say we average going to this Taco Bell about once every two weeks. Since we’ve lived here for about 6 months now — that’s about 12 visits. They have gotten our order right MAYBE2 – 3 times. When they make a mistake in our order it’s not ever a simple matter of leaving the sour cream out of nacho supreme, it’s more like, they forgot two items. It is super frustrating to get home with your food and almost never have everything you ordered. Secondly, their Mexican Pizzas are horrible. It seems like they should be so simple to make but I guess it takes some major culinary skills to get this menu item right. Because it’s NEVER been right. All in all, this Taco Bell is below par. Unfortunately we will keep going because it’s the closest Taco Bell to us by miles. On the plus side, they somehow got a 100.5 on their health score… didn’t even know that was possible. I’m always pleased with a Taco Bell when they get my order completely right. I know this shouldn’t be something that you give props for — but being someone eats at Taco Bell often and has something go wrong with their order 75% of the time, this is a plus for me. I always have slightly difficult orders as well(e.g. vegetarian nacho supreme, no meat, no sour cream). That might not seem like a difficult order, but when coupled with ‘regular hard taco’ the employee always seems to be confused as to why I’m ordering both vegetarian and meat items and usually ends up giving me all meat or all vegetarian. The staff who took our order at this location did have to clarify the order multiple times, but they got it right! And at the end of the day, although the order took longer than I would have liked, I was happy with the end result. Yaay for this Taco Bell’s employee!

«Aging relicts of a by-gone era» Turn the clocks back to 1980. You can watch Mork & Mindy, Dukes of Hazzard, or WKRP on primetime TV. Everyone laughs when an unusually short kid says, «Whatchoo talkin’ ’bout Willis?» Everyone worries about the fate of the hostages in Iran, and about who shot JR Ewing. Back then, you go to KFC(then actually called«Kentucky Fried Chicken») for seriously tasty fast-food chicken, both in the US and abroad. People speculate about«the Colonel’s secret recipe» when he passes away that year. Taco Bell is also in a massive growth phase– pretty yummy tacos from a place you could spend the tiniest bit of money to get really filled up. Jump to 2011. Ugh. KFC is now rebranding itself as «kitchen fresh» chicken but doesn’t come near matching that hype. Their meals are rather sad– their chicken and biscuits aren’t nearly as good as some of their smaller fast food competitor chains(e.g., Chick-Fil-A, Bojangles, Popeye’s), and the price is not especially competitive. Their healthy options are weak attempts at getting more customers. KFC compensated by introducing small, less-expensive items such as the«snacker», but that’s the portion of food you eat when nibbling at a party, not when you want a meal. Taco Bell’s descent has been worse. The quality of ingredients went down fast, and now the quantities have also plummeted. Sure, you can get a taco for $ 1.07 with tax, but it’s tiny and unsatisfying. You can eat four of those and still be «hungry»(as well as slightly nauseous). Some other items taste pretty good, but there are so many better options out there for Americanized Mexican(or better yet, traditional Mexican). Today, my family and I dined at this location, and my 6-year-old son ate a full Taco Bell kids’ meal plus TWO additional tacos. Price came to over $ 4. And he was still hungry. Tween daughter had a quesadilla meal and an additional taco– spending well over $ 6, and also still hungry. That’s not cheap for fast food– we could have done better at most other chains. I had the KFC crispy strips meal– had to drown the strips in sauce for them to be good, unlike the great strips the Bojangles next door sells. At this location, service is friendly, but you have to ASK at the counter for even the Taco Bell taco sauce packets– they’re not sitting out any more. Clearly, times are tough. Sadly, KFC is no longer that good, and Taco Bell is no longer that cheap. They have lost their advantages, have past their prime, and are hanging on based on their heyday long ago. Wendy’s announced a few days ago that it may be selling the Arby’s chain. I suspect KFC/Taco Bell parent company Yum Brands may face a similar decision this decade.

This Taco Bell is conjoined with a KFC unit, so it’s either highly convenient or very irrelevant. I’ve never had a problem here, the tacos and gorditas are surpreme! On the other hand, I see nothing that makes this unit better than the rest. One feature I find inconvenient is their convoluted line shaping barrier on approach to the counter, which makes it not very cozy, so I hesitate to give it four stars.
