Every time I’ve visited this store, we’ve always been greeted with genuine smiles and authentic customer service. The owner and employees are incredibly passionate about their products and are very knowledgeable and informative. Great store to visit for any holiday or occasion!

The owners are very passionate about candy and are so helpful in making recommendations. Specialties change from time to time as they offer new and even more wonderful treats to tempt us. The variety is good. The quality is always good. The shop is really cute and in the middle of a street that offers other shops and restaurants to explore. It’s a great place to get a little taste of sweetness or satisfy a major sweet tooth.
I am partial to caramels so I like to see what new variety I should try. Caramels with marshmallow, jalapeño, or chocolate or something else? Also, I pick up seasonally themed yummies to add a little panache to home– entertaining. For example, where else would I find a life-​size black licorice skull to use as an edible centerpiece? The family chocoholic loves to visit as does the husband who makes a beeline for the candies of his childhood every time.
Definitely a family favorite.

Awesome candy store that has everything from Penny Candy to high end truffles. The owners are passionate about candy and so nice. I have called in a pinch for a gift and they will pull together a great gift basket for me.

Love the selection, staff, and location! Thanks for making Durham so sweet My father loves licorice Jelly Belly’s and I can always count on your shop to have them in stock and fresh. Also, the truffles are a fun treat for friends and family. Definitely check them out if you’re in the area!

Caution: Dishonest owner! The woman behind the counter seemed nice enough, but be careful — she may try to rip you off. I came in and mentioned I was visiting from out of town and wanted to bring a box of truffles back for co-​workers. She told me that a box of 32 would be a discounted price of $ 26. I let her mix and match as she counted and filled up a box for me. She wrapped it up and told me there were 32 in the box. Opened the box two days later at work, and counted only 26, which is disappointing. Not sure if she messed up or just can’t count.
Chocolates were a hit and were very good, just would have been nice to get what I paid for.

Great location, tons of variety, and really nice workers. Only problem I had was that they need to use thicker cuts of bacon in their chocolate covered bacon. Pretty pricey at almost $ 4 a strip, and You can’t taste it!
But your red velvet chocolates and White Russian chocolates are the bomb.

If this were around when I was in college… it would be extremely dangerous. I love it! We came in during homecoming weekend, and I was in shock, I was in heaven. It was so cute, had great candy, and reasonable prices. We chatted with the owner for a bit and she was so friendly and nice. she told us the background of the store and the concept… I was super impressed! We filled up on Candy for our ride home. it was just what we needed to end a great weekend! I am so jealous of the college kids now that have this around.

I love the Candy Bar! From the minute you walk in you are treated to wonderful sites and smells. There is a good variety of chocolate and fun favorites like Jelly Belly Jellie Beans. They also havereally good icecream with mix ins. It is definetly worth stopping in!
