One of the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had! It’s somewhere between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. Nice and flakey, plenty of cinnamon and tasty cream cheese frosting. I will definitely be back for more. In my cinnamon roll envy I almost forgot I had a cinnamon scone too. It was delicious as well! Great cinnamon flavor and the scone was not dry at all. Really pleased with both my buys and will stop any time I am in Duvall, may even have to make a special trip

Great breads and pastries, all organic. Nice ambiance and quick service. Not a lot of room to sit but you have a great view of Main St. Much better pastries than the local coffee monopoly. Husband moved the cold brew.

I stopped by for the first time this morning, and took a chocolate croissant to go. It was brilliant — among the best I’ve had. The texture was perfect, with quality chocolate and just the right amount of sweetness. Looking forward to coming back and sampling the rest of the menu. They’re now open on Monday as well.

Wonderful bakery!!! We had ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon scone and frosted sugar cookie as well as an Americano. All were delicious. Atmosphere quaint and inviting. Staff very nice. Looking forward to next visit

My favorite items are the cinnamon rolls and scones. Love to bring them to work or a yummy indulgence on the weekend. The cinnamon rolls are light and fluffy made with a buttery croissant dough. The cream cheese frosting is very decadent. The scones are tender inside with a nice crisp outer crust. The berries are fresh.

Dude, who would have known one of the most amazing bakeries would be nestled on the main drag in downtown Duvall?! I’ve never reviewed it either, maybe I shouldn’t so it will be my own little secret? Ok ok, I will share. Most amazing croissants I have EVER had, and I have had a lot, I like croissants, they are a guilty pleasure, and so many super suck. This one is flaky on the outside, borderline crunchy, perfect and soft on the inside, not too light but not to heavy. Man I want one right now! The cookies? Snickerdoodle, just do it. Sugar cookie with frosting? I gave those up when I was like 10, but Grateful Bread’s turned be back into a kid and got me munching sugars cookies and licking frosting of my fingers, they are so good! Soft inside, hard enough on the outside they don’t fall apart and the most flavorful frosting! I suspect almond extract helps with that. Go here. Make a special trip, seriously!

*The best* croissants I’ve had outside of France. Incredibly flaky, yet substantial. I keep dreaming about them, and now that I’ve learned that their cinnamon rolls are made of the same stuff… I’m going to need a lot more exercise.

I love how his place offers all organic pastries. I’m an organic chic and it’s difficult to find organic options that are also tasty. Knocked it two stars because they never have croissants, and you practically have to show up at 8:01 to get anything more than one or two if your lucky. They give me the same story every time, order ahead of time. I’ve got two counters: one, who thinks about what they want for breakfast before breakfast; and two, what kind of bakery doesn’t have croissants on hand? They have bucket loads of cookies… not sure who eats cookies that early in the day, but no croissants? Sniffles… I can understand you’re going to order like a dozen or more or something unusual, but I just want like 4 – 6 and that’s apparently too much to ask for. When they DO have croissants they’re quite tasty and flakey, and do ok after a day but if you want to maintain the delicious integrity better have em within a day. I would go more often if they had croissants more consistently. Their cinnamon buns are good, their frosting used to taste like home made cream cheese frosting, now it tastes like store bought icing. Seriously what bakery doesn’t have croissants?

In the Lord’s Prayer, the first petition is for daily bread. No one can worship God or love his neighbor on an empty stomach. Thankfully there is Grateful Bread for the Bread Heads of Duvall and Carnation. Of course Man cannot live by bread alone; Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, Jalapeño bread, and pumpkin bread. For dairy– there is the infamous Cheese bread. Speaking of infamous– you have not lived until you have tried their Cinnamon rolls. They were so good, that I ate my napkin!

Grateful Bread replaced Rustic Pie in the same location. Still makes delicious breads but now offers more pastries that Rustic Pie did! The other day I tried(don’t judge) a cream cheese danish, a chocolate croissant, a blueberry muffin and a cinnamon roll. Th cream cheese danish was my favorite, super yummy! The blueberry muffin was very moist. The croissant and cinnamon roll were both delicious as well. Everything is a winner here, there are no losers! Unless you count my scale… the scale is going to be a losing battle with a bakery this good open. Can’t wait to try more things! Hope they have the chocolate chip cookies and maple bacon scones liked Rustic Pie did, but if they don’t I’m certain I will find other yummy things!
