McDonald’s

The ice machine at this McDonald’s has the best ice, like they used to have in movie theaters back in the day. This McDonald’s is best place to stop off of I-​55 for this reason alone. :)

Worst experience yet! We waited and waited, 4 orders behind us got their food and we still haven’t! The girls up front taking orders were a box of rocks and didnt eve acknowledge me after waiting forever! Wouldn’t even give it a 1 star visit!

If you can’t keep the front clean I have to wonder how dirty the kitchen is. Two customers in here and one clean table. No one cleaning.

Staff welcomed me the moment I walked in, that gave a warm and fuzzy feeling. The bathrooms were pretty decent as I always suspect McDonalds bathrooms to be, when traveling its nice to happen across a clean one. Good was hot and freshly cooked which always makes us happy… however the soda station is in much needed a good cleaning!!! One can tell by the machine how often a hot soapy towel hits the area… which is a good indication that the nozzles haven’t felt any thing hit and soapy or any soda water soaking in a long time. This is just after breakfast and no rush happening for lunch :(

I’ll put it this way: the women’s bathroom door has the letter «W» missing so it says «OMEN» as if communicating a bad omen… No joke: a fecal (poop) smell at the counter reminiscent of a nursing home. Not sure why; if it was food, patrons, garbage, or sewage. Initially I thought it was a smelly patron but later realized it had to be something else in the store. We should have turned around and left but we didn’t. We proceeded with ordering. My chicken sandwich was wrong three times and the staff had bad attitude and were busy infighting. The operations were chaotic and teamwork was lacking. There was no clear leader on the food line. The final sandwich correction attempt was served with a bad attitude and a spiteful gesture. The request for «some mayo» on the side was responded to by filling a chicken nuggets box with a cup sized amount of mayo, a ridiculous cartoonish mountain of mayo nobody would ever fully consume as if it was funny like «oh, you want mayo? I’ll give you mayo». I was not impressed with the experience here. Probably won’t go back.

U can guarantee one thing. This McDonald’s will mess up your order. Its the one consistent thing that this place does. Lived here for 12 years and sometimes I get food that isn’t even served at McDonald’s. Lol. Seriously check your order before you leave!!!

Right of Rt 66
Place wasn’t crowded and the staff was VERY friendly. Easy in and out off the expressway and right on Route 66.
I always get the Egg Whites. This particular Mc D’s cooks them right, doesn’t scramble them. The muffin itself was cooked perfect and not burnt.

Partway between Chicago and Peoria, this is my pit stop when I’m driving down state to get back to my hometown. I generally drive through and am on my way, however on Tuesday night I needed to use the restroom, so I therefore went into the restaurant. It was about 9:30 PM.
I was mortified. While the restrooms were of average cleanliness, the restaurant portion was FILTHY! Trash overflowing, counters needing wiped, garbage and dirt on tables and booths, sticky spills all over the soda machine!
Further, when I walked up to the counter, I was told to wait while the lady who was supposed to be taking my order stood and talked to her friend drinking a soda. She also was not wearing her uniform… wearing jean capri pants.
I needed coffee badly. They told me they didn’t have coffee. I told them to make some and had to argue with them to make some coffee!!!
I really had wanted a chocolate shake too, but they informed me their shake machine was «broken.» That wasn’t worth arguing with them.
Sadly, I think I’ll be finding a different pit stop in the future!

This McDonalds has a very nice dine in experience. Nice new building! Typical McDonalds food and menu. Make sure you check your order before leaving the Drive Thru. They seem to mess up a lot of orders!
Great outdoor seating on their new patio for those nice days when you just don’t want to be inside.

Their better than Pete’s. But they are guaranteed to screw up your order LOL
