2 of us got seated in a booth right away, even though there were others waiting. Excellent service. Food came quickly. Good, belly busting stuff. Careful… easy for your eyes to be bigger then your stomach.

I love this IHOP I go here with my grandparents and I know most of the waiters there I have been going here since I was a kid and everyone is really friendly. Also it has the best tasting eggs sausage and pancakes I have ever had. Great place!

We ordered our regular, the harvest grain and nut pancake combo comes with egg whites and turkey bacon, absolutely delicious and a healthy alternative to regular pancakes! Also, try the sugar free syrup you’ll never know the difference and think of the calories your cutting off!

Food is always good, and so is the service. New York Cheesecake pancakes are delicious. Only complaint is the woman with short blonde hair at the counter. You can hear her yelling at the workers and that kind of dampers your meal. It’s happened several times. I usually ask to be seated in the back so I don’t have to hear her shrill voice.

Food came out quick and good sized portion. AC and fans were cranking. A little chilly but not unbearable. Children enjoyed it as well.

A staple of mine growing up in EB! But I haven’t gone back in years, and I noticed on my recent visit that they really updated/added new things to their menu. Now have a chicken and waffle combo — I couldn’t remember them having waffles here 10 – 15 years ago, but maybe my memory just blows. All I know is that I got chicken tenders and they were big and hearty pieces of white breast meat. Waffle was kind of forgettable, so it was probably just a simple batter mix. It was fluffy though, not soggy, and had the solid edges/print. Love their butter pecan syrup. Mmm! My favs: Chocolate, chocolate chip pancakes — super chocolately, just the way I like it! Taste chocolate in every single damn bite. German crepes are light, sweet, buttery, but a hint of lemon. Their sandwiches — like ham/egg/cheese — is super buttery, and I don’t want to taste all that grease. But that’s my personal preference. Mozzarella sticks are big! Very filling. A good solid app. Onion rings are breaded, not beer battered, and also big. Parking lot is small, but I have never had a problem finding a spot before. At least the spots directly in front of the entrance. Food came out fast, and I came for lunch/late lunch. Server was nice, and from all the way back, I recall having nice servers.

Disgusting. Ordered chicken Florentine crepes, and the chicken was inedible. I would not even feed it to my dogs. When I complained about it to the waitress(SHE was very sweet) she went back to the kitchen/manager… When she return she said the«chef sends his apologies». The bill was not adjusted, I was not offered a replacement dish, nothing was done to actually correct the issue at hand, which was that they were serving chicken with a rubbery texture that made me almost vomit the second I put it in my mouth. Will not be eating here again.

After dealing with a disaster Denny’s in the same strip, we decided to go to IHop for breakfast… The service here was much better hostess greeted us right away… We walked out of Denny’s after waiting almost 10 minutes to be served…

II have not been to an ihop in years and know why. Overprocessed food at high prices. A diner anywhere is a better option. I had a ham and cheese omelet and was disgusted by the white liquid goo I assume they classify as cheese. How does this chain stay in business. I guess that is why I was alone in the place.

Cooking was nasty, so much so that I couldn’t bare to eat the overcooked«over easy eggs», the soggy bacon, or the cold sausage and ham. The server did a great job to try to make up for it but food was just unpleasant. The server tried to make it better by calling the manager Joan. That was the worst part a rude manager saying cooks been there 20 years like that made food better, then very load and rudely kept saying no, no, no, food been the same with no complaints. I guess she never read any reviews. Horrible experience, now me and my family lost a spot we came to eat for many years. Sad

Pretty good morning service. This is my 3rd time here so far. Their coffee game needs some work, but their breakfast is great. Luckily I have never had a bad experience here. The service is really good. If you’re lucky and get Evelyn as your server, she is a real sweetheart and will make your day.

Love the pancakes ! Everything else is not bad. Eggs, beacon, sausage — everything you can think of for breakfast is good here but I really come here for the pancakes.

I came here in the morning around 10 for my dad’s birthday breakfast. Luckily we came early enough and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. The waiter came quickly and brought us the drinks we ordered. However he vanished for a good 10 minutes after that so it took a while for us to actually order. My mom and I ordered a ‘make your own omelette’ with a hash brown and buttermilk pancakes while my dad ordered the Strawberries and cream crêpe without cream. Since there was a bit of rushing took a bit of time for the order to arrive. When my dad got the order, there was cream on his crepes and he wasn’t happy and the crepes were quickly exchanged into one without cream. In my opinion the food was average just because I have better at other restaurants. But the food quality is pretty good for suburban NJ.

I come here regularly and the service is usually horrible. came here today for a little celebration breakfast for a friend’a birthday and asked the manager if she could do a little something special like a candle or something. She seemed hesitant at first and gave me the dirtiest look like I wasn’t speaking English. However she eventually said she could bring out something with a candle. That was nice of them(kinda) and the food came out at a decent time. As for the food, it’s pretty average but the hash browns were extremely burnt and barely edible.

Love ihop but the service just plain sucks. I don’t get it with enough staff, How hard can it be to serve eggs and pancakes in a timely matter? The cleanliness is horrible here I had to ask for clean utensil and the chairs and table were dirty. Even my French toast plate had home fries and egg yolk. I was pretty grossed out. The plate itself wasn’t properly cleaned! This restaurant is just plain slow motion and needs a makeover badly! Get it together people!

That’s the first IHOP I review and I have to give it 5 stars all other IHOP’s I’ve been too will give them 3 stars. Just landed at Trenton airport and it was on our way to bayonne. Ordered chicken fajita omelette with sub cinnastacks, coffee for $ 16. That was enough for me wife and son :-) Place is clean, waiters friendly, food cooked way way better than any IHOP I’ve been to. Food came super fast Coffee hot So all check. Got to give it 5 stars

The menu has undergone some significant revisions since I was there last, and the food has been upgraded as a consequence. There are several delicious – and decadent – options to choose from, and I left satisfied. I went with the Chicken and Waffles: several crispy tenders accompanied by waffle triangles. The chicken was excellent, and the honey mustard dipping sauce was a nice balance between sweet and tangy. The waffles were a little odd, coming off as a bit too floury. The décor has also received an upgrade – even the syrup containers have a new look. Service is professional and friendly, and we lucked out with a good one this time. This isn’t necessarily fine dining but, if you want inexpensive and filling food, this is a good place to go.

It’s safe to say IHOP represents International House of Pancakes. My advice, only eat that, nothing more, nothing less. Dec 24th around 1am, I came here after doing my last minute Christmas shopping with a friend of mine. As I start to walk up to the place I see the person who’s gonna be seating us through the window. Once I finally make it inside, he somehow manages to walk to the other side of the dining area, sits down, and begins a short break. Totally ignoring he had 2 more people that just walked in. A waiter spots us standing there confused, and signals for him to come back to the front. We make our way over to our table and it wasn’t long before our waiter comes over to us to take our drink order. It wasn’t that busy so he could take his time getting our order right. We review the menu one last time and made our selection. We start with a Chicken Quesadilla as appetizer. Then I ordered a melt sandwiches, spinach and roasted peppers I believe it was. I also got a Fajita Omelet. My friend orders the steak tips. Our drinks come out and I immediately spot something in my drink. The ice cube looked funny. Normally, when you look at an ice cube its supposed to be clear. This ice cube happens to be cloudy. Never seen that in my life. Then my friends straw looked like someone chewed on the straw. I wish I could tell you I was making this up. After waiting and waiting, I said out loud I have a feeling he forgot the appetizer. Shortly he arrives with our main dishes and of course. He forgot the appetizer. He did apologize. I start to eat away at my melt, overall not bad. My only problem, the onion rings were old and not fresh. They were over fried too. I saw my friend put a beef tip in his mouth, and after a few chews later he spit it back out. The texture of the beef was funny. My omelet tasted like someone took cold salsa from chips n salsa and poured it over my omelet. shame on me for not reading salsa was a topping. It didn’t represent that in the picture. Overall, I’ve been to some great IHOPs, but i think their starting to lose their edge.

So, I know that this is a chain restaurant. I actually had really great experiences eating at IHOP in Miami. But I had a pretty awful experience my last time here. And well, I am never returning again. The waitress was really slow with the order. Then, I received my Caesar salad with the grilled chicken being raw on the inside. I actually cut into it and saw a bit of blood. So, I was really calm about politely asking the waitress to grill the chicken further. She came back 20 minutes later with the same chicken. I cut into it again and saw raw chicken breast. After that, I was too embarrassed and disgusted to ask for another dish. I ended up eating the salad leaves and leaving hungry. Not a fan of their pancakes either, rather quality over quantity.
