Chili’s Grill & Bar

This place is awful. I ordered a dry kettle one martini straight up. When it was served to me, at the bar, there was a nice sized ft fly in it. I mentioned it to the bartender, a young something girl, and she agreed to make me another. This time I watched her prepare it. She grabbed the same bottle of kettle one to make it. As they use shot glasses to measure out the correct portion I watched her pour the vodka. She then filled the same shot glass with vermouth and mixed it in. I reminded her I ordered a dry martini and that was way too much vermouth. Now I get the face and attitude. Plenty of other places to eat and that’s what I did.

We went in for New Year’s eve the drinks were great but the food serves was slow and there was no reason for that because they were not busy. My meal was also awful. The meal honestly ruined my night and the meal made me ill. I was also not even asked how I would like my steak cooked. I ordered steak fajitas and only got half the portion size that should of been served. The steak was the cheapest cut of meat I’ve ever been served they were about an inch long overly salted and it was mostly just white fat no meat. I only took two bites at most. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for years and as a server I would have never served my customers that meal. The customer service was awful I barely touched my meal and not once was I asked how is everything. I am giving this place only one star for the drinks.

We stopped in last night after doing some Christmas shopping. Bad idea. The waitress was great but the food has gone to shit. My burger, although cooked to perfection, was just too greasy! One expects some degree of greasiness with a burger but this one was dripping grease with every bite. To me that screams low quality beef. I’d say ⁷⁰⁄₃₀ is being generous. The lettuce was drenched and even the TOP of the bun was greasy to touch! I should have sent it back but I was starving. Today I’m paying for it. I miss the old Chili’s with the good burgers! If you’re gonna serve greasy food you might as well bring back the Awesome Blossom.

Figured I Would give it a try after a long absence. Waste of time. I went on Sunday Mother’s Day late afternoon. I was immediately seated but not after asking to be moved when they tried to sit us next to an unruly family with multiple screaming children total chaos. The place looking like a war zone. After we were seated it was a good ten minutes before the server who was polite finally came to take out order. Another ten minutes before they arrived and a while for the food to arrive as well. The food presentation was nice but it was nothing to brag about taste wise it worth returning to have again. The server never came back during the meal for drink refills and when she finally did was just trying to pitch desert. Asked for the tab took another almost ten minutes paid and scrammed.

I have no idea where to begin with this. I’ve been to several other locations but this is by far the worst one. Our waitress was pleasant but the food was horrible. I unfortunately would not come back to this location.

I don’t know why this place got such bad reviews, I don’t even eat at chains normally but think chilis is the best out of them. The food was good we got the deal 2 meals and an app for 20 $. Upgraded to table side guacamole for 2 $. Really delicious. Our server Maya was excellent really attentive and fun. Best server we’ve had in a while anywhere.

This location has gone downhill for the last couple of years, The only saving grace for this place is the cold cheap draft beer and they have the AC cranking in the summer. Food orders are extremely slow, last 3 times I went, the food took over 45 mins. to arrive. When it did, it was awful, either cold or over/​under cooked. The waitstaff and bartenders are great, but the cooks and management need some serious work. I’ve given up on this place.

Worst experience I’ve had at a chain I’ve otherwise never had any issues with.
Placed an order To-​Go since it was kind of late and we were trying to get home. Took a couple of minutes to actually place the order since the waitress taking the order insisted that my wife’s request (Southwestern BLT) was not on the menu… but she eventually «found it».
Arrived and went in 20 or 25 minutes later to find some staff surprised that we were there to pick up a To-​Go order. About 10 more minutes of waiting until they brought over a box and started ringing us up… but a peek inside the box revealed that my wife’s meal wasn’t even in there! After a minute or two of hearing people shouting in the back room they discover her meal had been prepared for the dining room and had been ready for about 20 minutes. So at this point we finally pay and leave.
My meal itself (mushroom burger) was a huge, greasy mess that I gave up on and threw out halfway through. My wife’s pretzel BLT turned out pretty decent, actually.
The staff seemed plenty friendly and they were aplogetic about the wait time, but they just didn’t seem to have it all together. I’ve had much better experiences and food at other Chilis’, so I recommended seeking alternative options if you’re in the area.

Working in the biz, we all hate those last minute customers. BUT it shouldn’t show. Clearly, the bartender is less than thrilled that we are here. Lucky for him my boyfriend is a good tipper regardless of his service.
We were told immediately that they close in 10 minutes. We made our selections quickly. My boyfriend ordered a beer and I said I would think about it. Bartender left to the kitchen and was gone maybe 5 minutes before he returned to give us the beer. I, still drinkless.
We ate, left and still tipped well.

Order food to pickup. Go into pickup area that is clearly marked pickup order here. Get passed and directly looked at by 4 different employees. Finally one of the employees that has already made direct eye contact with me about 10 minutes prior asks «Are you picking up and order to go? You need to go to the bar.» Walk over to the bar. Wait 10 minutes more. Bartender asks if I needed help. Then goes to get my food. 5 minutes later returns with my food. In that time a woman walks in to the pickup area and gets her food and walks out. about a half hour of waiting to get my food. Maybe a little bit more. Food as decent. Not worth going through the terrible service.

The service here is exceptional. I don’t review very much but was compelled to because these guys are awesome! Good food too.

not that good. slowwwww. I eat at Chili’s with the family every now and then so I was surprised to read the poor reviews on this Chili’s. Unfortunately they are accurate. It’s strange that it took so long to serve us two kid quesadilla meals and one sampler appetizer. Approximately 30 minutes from time of order. Also the food was not the same quality as other Chili’s we’ve eaten at.
On the way out the front door was wet and it looked like it was raining… Nope the sprinkler system is pointed right at the main entrance soaking you on the way out the door. The sidewalks are the same.

Have been here multiple times for dinner and the food is pretty good, not fantastic but what you can expect getting at Chili’s. The last couple of times here we have been disappointed, the menus are dirty. Today I opened my menu and had actual food fall out of it, that’s pretty disgusting. After walking in we were quickly seated as usual. It was around 5:30 and they were not busy at all. After being seated we were told our waiter/​waitress would be over in a minute. We start looking at what we are going to order…5 mins go by a waiter walks past us to the table directly behind us asking if they need any refills and their food will be out shortly. Walks back by us and says hi, as he walks away. I can see a couple of waitresses in the back just joking and talking to each other and they look out directly at our table. One of them walks out and goes up front to the hostess. A couple of other waitresses are a few rows over laughing and taking to each other. 10 minutes go by at this point. There is now a total of 5 waitresses that have been around us and notice we have menus and no drinks and we have been sitting for quite some time. If this isn’t obvious that we haven’t been helped then I don’t know what the hell they are thinking. 15 mins go by and the male waiter walks passed us again and looks directly at our table only to go to the table behind us to tell them their food is coming out in a minute. As he is doing that the hostess brings a couple other people in and seat them directly on the other side of our booth. I swear before they even got seated the male waiter walks passed us to their booth and introduces himself and begins to ask them what they want to drink. Screw this place is what we say at this point and close our menus and get up. Walking right by the waiter he doesn’t say a word like we are invisible, as we are walking out the front door the hostess says, thank you! As I reply no, we have been sitting for 20 mins and nobody ever came over, she says oh hold on, as I reply no we’re done here and walk out. We have been here well over ten times and this place is going downhill, don’t think we will return to this Chili’s in Wareham. Unless you really enjoy mediocre food and shitty service then do yourself a favor and head east on cranberry hwy through 3 more street lights and go eat at Lindsey’s Family Restaurant. Way better food and great service, I know this is where we will be going for now on.

I went here with my husband for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated right away. Our waitress took out drink order and came back 10 minutes later… That was too long. I got a virgin strawberry margarita and it was made by an armature for sure. Our meal was good once we got it, but it took our waitress awhile to put it in. We would return hoping for a better waitress as the food/​prices are average.

Of all the chain restaurants like 99’s, Applebee’s, and TGIFs this is probably the most satisfying. Good quality food for really cheap. Happy hour is pretty long and the drinks are pretty cheap to begin with. The staff is always friendly and have only had problems with my order 1 or 2 times and I come here almost every week for the two for $ 20 deal which is phenomenal by the way. An appetizer and two full entrees for only $ 20. You can’t beat it. When it comes down to it I love this place.

Food is average pub grub but service was excellent and they have good food and drink specials so it partially redeems the chain place chow. Good in a pinch.

I won’t slag on Chili’s for being a chain. The food is eh, ok. Try to have something Southwestern/​Mexican or the ribs an you’ll be safe. Burgers are ok too. Most of this stuff is frozen and a slight step above fast food.
The server? Well that’s something else. Good service sells chains. Not a kid who WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE! Dude, everything is OK. No there isn’t anything else you can do for us. Interrupting conversations isn’t conducive to a solid 20% tip. If it’s free refills and my diet coke is empty, chances are I won’t cuss you out for bringing me another one, just sayin…
And oh yeah, I did order Diet Coke. Not Coke.

Can’t think of a better way to spend an hour while waiting for our complex order to be delivered to our table of peak (pizza, salad, shrimp tacos, chicken crispers). Did they have to chase down free range chickens or free range shrimp, wait for the salad to grow? Go to mcDonalds down the street.

I generally do not write reviews for chain restaurants because you generally know what to expect after visiting one. However, I have to call out the most recent dining experience I had at this Chili’s in Wareham. First, I have to say that I did not dine in and ordered my food to go, but regardless, I should have had the same experience as if I was sitting down and being served by a waiter.
I ordered my food online and received a confirmation that it would be ready in 30 minutes. I promptly arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes later but ended up waiting one hour before my food was ready. I had a 5 yo child waiting in the car with her father! Totally unacceptable. They also did not even complete my order correctly. They forgot two chocolate shakes and one of the sides. When I went back to get the rest of the order, they gave me the wrong side and I had to ask for it again. When we got home, the food was cold from being cooked 1.5 hours prior and hard as a rock. To top it off, I opened the container for the tacos we got – the rice was in a PLASTIC BAG.
The meal was completely inedible and most of it had to be trashed. The servers did nothing to compensate me for the wait except offer me a glass of water. Poor management and service in this restaurant – I will never return.

Wareham doesn’t have a lot of good restaraunts for lunch. We love Longhorn, but I didn’t want to drop $ 35 for lunch. My wife likes Chilis so we headed there. I have been here maybe ½ dozen times and it is always cold inside, bring a sweatshirt. My wife gets the chicken crispers which is really yummy lightly breaded and not greasy. The fries are pretty good, but the corn on the cob is always soggy. I know they cook it and hold it in a warmer but we were there soon after they opened. I tried the lunch Combo $ 7 with the little burgers and a cup of chili. Burgers had good flavor the roll was hard on the bottom. The Burger to bread ratio favored the bread. What can I say, it was as I expected fair. Chili was good but no heat. service was good bathrooms clean. If I didn’t feel like driving 20 minutes to something better I would probably go again.
