Gave it 5 stars because it excels at what it is, a dive bar. If you want fancy drinks, sushi, politically correct attitudes, yuppies, you’ve come to the wrong place. You want cold beer served fast and efficiently and being surrounded by hard working Harley loving people, you’ll feel right at home here.

It’s the Cheers of Bourne. I can’t disagree with any of the other comments, but at night this place can really liven up and the night bartenders have great personalities. It doesn’t have the bad rep it used to. There are video cameras for your protection, 3 tv’s, 2 pool tables and a jukebox. Great place to bring a small group of people.

I stopped into here after a bike ride along the canal. I’ve always drove past it and was curious. I didn’t expect much and that’s what I got lol. It was a dark dive place. A few regulars there all watching some CSI tv show or something. The owner. Skunk I think his name was, seemed annoyed to help us interrupting his show. This is the supreme example of a neighborhood dive bar. Complete with a dirty microwave and toaster oven. I tried to engage Skunk in some light banter, but he would have none of it. Maybe I should of flashed my «local» drivers licence, but I’m sure he doesn’t have to deal with too many tourists to begin with. I’m all for the local thing but not rudeness. Don’t bother. They get two stars instead of one because he asked me if I wanted a lime in my Corona. lol

Solid, neighborhood bar. Fun clientele and staff, very reasonable and fresh draught beer. Not really a place to eat, just a watering hole across from the Cape Cod canal.
