They were super slow wth everything we didn’t even get our drinks and we sat there for almost an hour

Services was fast and friendly. But the food on the other hand is just terrible. It was really cold in the inside and crispy on the other side or just cold overall.

My visit was during a slow Friday lunch hour. Solid service — bartender was pulling double duty and was attentive. Refilled out beverages three times in 45 mins. I had the Philly Cheesesteak which was good. The tator tots were great — golden crisp with the right balance of seasonings.

Great food. We love the burgers with ghost pepper. By far the best veggie burger I have ever eaten! Great service. Could only improve in drink specials

Our server was great! Nice, friendly, and accommodating. The food was not. Pretty sure my sweet potato fries had been double cooked in the fryer. Crispy outside, dry, cold on the inside. The turkey tasted weird on both our sandwiches. Soda was flat still after they apparently changed the Co2 when we pointed it out. We both feel nauseous after leaving there, we won’t be back.

It wasn’t terribly busy, but the service was incredibly slow but the waitress was nice. The server brought out the wrong drink for one of our kids, but argues that it was correct. Issue 1. Then, we ordered pizza with a slight modification, which was brought out ten minutes after the other food… and was incorrect. Issue 2. Then, we found large pieces of plastic in the pizza, that was already wrong. Issue 3. We told the server about the plastic and she apologized, but did not even take the cost of the tainted + wrong food off the bill. Issue 4+. Then, when I confronted she had an attitude about the whole situation, but did take the tainted-wrong pizza plus one drink off the bill. Issue 5++. Other than the plastic, the food was good. too bad the handling of the issue left such a bad taste.

If you like white trash settings then this is your place. Every other food item on the menu has«gyro» in it. Like having just one gyro item isn’t novelty enough, so they decided to put their low IQ together to list a 3 kinds of gyro sandwiches and a salad, tradiotonal. The patio is situated overlooking a parking lot where exhaust is constantly consumed and to make it even more toxic, the bar allows smokers to smoke within feet of every table and some of the smokers are employees. Say it with me, «White Trash» dump. I would love to be positive, but this place offers nothing to one’s excitement.

Had dinner last night, beer very cold, cheese curds appetizer was good. Mushroom Swiss burger made from fresh ground beef not frozen patty, very tasty. We’ll be back.

HORRIBLE. Horrible service. Horrible bland food. Manager ran for the kitchen when we complained. Nice neighborhood restaurant with cheap pull tabs in the corner and bingo started blasting 2 feet from our ear in the dining room(not even in the bar) What a let down. We left and went to another restaurant after paying $ 66 for this disappointing experience. We won’t be back

Very underwhelming. My husband and I bought a Groupon to try Saga out and we were both really disappointed. When we walked in the staff looked at us like deer in headlights. We didn’t know whether to seat ourselves or wait, so we waited and they stared at us. Finally she told us to pick a seat. The food… where to begin… eww… the cheese curds are clearly frozen and thrown in a deep fryer and garnished with some gross marinara sauce. We both ordered burgers. Mine was half the size of my husband’s even though they said the same size in the menu. The bun was so much bigger than the burger. We also both ordered them cooked medium and they came out well done. Practically as hard as a hockey puck. We both ate half and stopped. The fries? What the heck? Waffle fries that were hard as a rock with some weird«seasoning» if that’s what you want to call it. I ate two and stopped. The staff was okay, they stayed on top of our drinks but that was about it. No smiles, not very friendly, and we waited longer for our check than we did our food. Needless to say we won’t be back, ever.

Fatbreads — pretty good. Sauce was a tad sweet. Salmon dinner — great — didn’t come with potato — could have used that. Pasta Alfredo — sauce was a little bland. Mac and Cheese — pretty good.

Tap water tastes like it came out of a garden hose. Salmon doesn’t include grilled veggies or a potato… which makes no sense… and it smelled horrible. The waitress forgot the mayo, which I even emphasized. All burgers cost $ 9, including a California burger w/o cheese, but if you want the same burger, ie. with lettuce, tomato, onion, but with cheese and bacon, you order the bacon cheeseburger. Again, makes no sense. The burger was mediocre at best. Very loud dining experience. Won’t be going to Saga a second time that’s for sure.

Stopped in while waiting for a haircut. Good beers on tap and the interior is very modern. Very open so I imagine it gets loud for dinner/football. 9 TVs in the bar so you’re pretty set for sports. I just grabbed an app while waiting. Went for the potstickers. They are lightly deep fried vs traditional pot stickers definitely frozen but still good. Would come back in the future for a full meal. If you don’t live near by it is a little out of the way but presents itself very well.

Had a good experience tonight! Our first time there, and we had attentive, friendly service. Pretty standard menu, my wife had the gyro salad and I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals. Unique and tasty waffle fries, and the biggest standout was the value. Tasty food for a lot less than elsewhere. A little on the loud side, but would be a fun happy hour location. Not a place for a quiet conversation. Eager to try some more things on the menu! Feels like the kind of place you would be welcomed as a regular pretty quickly and enjoy the camaraderie.

Worst dining experience in a long time. Only two tables seated and it took over 30 mjnutes to get cold bland food. Bartender /waiter never came over until I waived him down and owner/manager dude was too busy flirting with the one girl at the bar. Fries were decent, juicy Lucy was not seasoned and most cheese was gone, and the Reuben was the worst I’ve ever had — cold and flavorless. I brought my kids — wish I hadn’t. I don’t think they’ll last even as long as Zest did…

Hadn’t realized it was owned by different people. Pretty much looks the same. Not very many people there on a weekday afternoon. Wanted coffee. They did not have a coffepot. Go to Wal Mart or target and but one. How can a restaurant not serve coffee. The food was just ok. The waitress was kinda snobby. Not hurrying back there,

I am not sure what this place is trying to be. Third visit. Is it a sports bar? Neighborhood stop? Upscale pub? Not a craft beer place by any means. Better selection next door at their other place – Coopers. Craft beer is a huge revolution. Just saying. Not a place for a quitet night out. I describe it finally as a cleaned up version of Coopers. Hey. I like Coopers for exactly what it is. Do not get me wrong. I was hoping for something«more» at Saga. . The other night I would have hated to be someone going out to dinner and wanting some peace and relaxation. People cheering and yelling about the sports on TV and there is nothing but hard surfaces in the place for the noise to just bounce and bounce. You could see people look up from their meals during the yelling. Service is spotty and truly unremarkable at best. Trust me… I am being very kind when I classify it as such. You have been opened a month. Kinks should be worked out by now. Knowledge. When you have a wine chiller on display it tells me you are taking your wine a bit seriously(especially considering what your website says). That means your staff knows which Chardonnay is dry when asked. Clarification. I do not drink Chardonnay. You are a restaurant. That means people get water at their tables. They do not ask for it. When it does come – on the third request – please put it in a glass that is not made of red plastic! Menu is nothing to talk about. If I cannot order a burger cooked how I want it then there is really no reason to order a burger. If I want a burger that is dry and chewy I will go to… well.wait. Actually I will not go there either! WTH. If I get asked how I want my burger at Red Cow, Busters, both Republics, and Valley Tap and Lone Oak and then get it as such, then why can they not do so? I like it on the more pink rare side in case you were wondering. And yes. I asked for it that way but met with«resistance» and ended up with one on the«well done» side of «medium. And.I have to say it as everyone I have been there with also commented. Fettuccine Alfredo. Fettuccine is a pasta. Alfredo is a ‘sauce». They serve it on «linguini noodles». Then that would be «Linguini Alfredo». I do also have to ask. Tell me it is not true that the name is from the Summit beer like I was told from the staff there. It was a joke. right? The website brags up traveling around the world for exquisite wines. Really? Who wrote that? Did they look at your offerings before they wordsmithed that. Same as with the beer selection.

Three words: What the hell? When I heard that the folks who owned Coopers(literally next door to Saga, which was formerly Zest Bar & Grill) purchased this place I thought, «well, I hope they take advantage of the opportunity to make this place different than Coopers.» No such luck. My husband and I thought we’d give it a try last weekend and were sorely disappointed on every level. The food is mediocre at best. At least when it was Zest they had a few more eclectic items to choose from, not any more. We used to go to Zest for the craft beer menu, that’s gone as well. Just the regular Miller High LIfe swill on tap now with one craft item, Surly Furious. Most of the menu is your standard fare bar food. And let me tell you, there isn’t much diversity there either. I mean if you’re going to have flatbreads at least broaden the diversity a bit and have ONE chicken flatbread among the lot. They have like two or three Gyro meat items on the menu which is just bizarre to me. Nothing like over-utilizing an ingredient that isn’t widely loved to begin with! The salad menu has been greatly reduced and boreifiied and for the love of god, why would you put surf and turf on your menu as an entrée? Do you really think people are going to order steak and lobster at a place where there are pull tabs at the front door? And what’s with the pull tabs?! Totally cheapens the environment. Keep that crowd relegated to Cooper’s and make your second establishment a little less blue collar. I truly wish there were more privately owned TRULY unique restaurants in Eagan that had really interesting menus and some sort of EDGE. Obviously you have to leave the burbs to find that because it’s not at Saga. Service was spotty. Our waitress was very hovering and intrusive. Borderline pushy. We didn’t feel comfortable or welcome and won’t ever be going again. Saga, take some advice and put some attention into your menu. Raise your game. You’ve got a great location and building with all new décor and furniture to work with, MAKE something of it. Don’t throw away the opportunity to be really effing amazing by watering down your brand and your personality into the same ol’ same ol’. I’d love to see you on this show to see how the pro’s would tackle this …

Just opened. Which means they are likely still trying to work out their personality — no, restauranality. Went in for lunch. It looks like they serve exactly the same menu for lunch and dinner. It was far from being packed, but it is probably normal for a place that just has opened and open in the area where there are not heck a lot of other shops and restaurants. My friend and I split wings and flat bread. I don’t know who said size doesn’t matter but for this wings, I have to tell you — size does matter. Each wing(5 pieces on one plate) is huge(I can only imagine how big a chicken has to be in order to have such wings). They have a few different sauces in which the wings can get flavored. We asked for 2 different sauces and they gave us 3 in Saga sauce and the other 2 with buffalo sauces. They were quite good. Flat bread was also very nice. I must confess — wings left way too much impression that I actually uncharacteristically forgot a lot about flat bread. But I remember thinking«hmm, this is a pretty good flat bread». This rarely happens.
