We love this place, burgers are awesome and the breakfasts are amazing. No complaints.

Okay so it’s a place that when you pull up and walk in you question if you should stay. It’s exterior looks like a old western saloon and the interior has definitely seen better days.
Don’t let that bother you.
Yes, the owner could definitely put in some effort for maintenance, but the breakfast here is fantastic! The service is friendly and relatively quick. The food is very reasonably priced, and the coffee is always fresh and hot.
We love the All American, comes complete with eggs your choice, hash browns or breakfast potatoes, protein of choice, and pancakes. So much food, it’s cooked well and if your like me, you’ll take home a mid morning snack /​lunch.

I stop in around 8PM Fri. to get something to eat, yeah like is any one going to take my order. Walked up to the cashier which at the time was helping a customer so I waited for my turn to ask what’s up about making a order. So the cashier just walk away still talking to the other person, now I’m thinking they now each other. Did not say a word to me so I’m thinking FUCK OFF I left.

We had a large group and Jen our waitress was great! Burgers and gyros were amazing!

Great breakfast! The food is all around good, and the prices are very reasonable! Only downside is on Sunday’s they only serve breakfast and stops at 1.

Been in here several times never had a complaint about the food. Wish they had Root Beer since they have coke products. Very friendly atmosphere. Cool that they still have line dancing.

Great food. Sirloin chili was great and the 8oz sirloin was cooked and seasoned perfect. Drinks were good and prices were within market prices. Definitely worth another visit upon our return.

Nice people nice place I had the philly cheesesteak dinner with fries I had a full belly. My meal was like 9 bucks not bad for a good meal. Waitress was nice and kept beer on my table. Makes a good meal better.

Love this place for cheap after work happy hour. The food is meh, haven’t found any food items worth mentioning yet. Prices are reasonable and love the casual atmosphere.

We add travel time when we fly into MSP so we can go to Starks. Nothing fancy, but they’re not trying to be. The Juicy Lucy is a yummy diet splurge.

Sat out on patio for some beers and burgers. The burger were well made and service was good. Didn’t really check out the inside.

Just fine for happy hour and greasy bar food. The patio is nice, and you get the ambiance of trucks pulling into the gas station next door. Full bar and not horrible beer selection. Way more of a fun spot for after work drinks than the parade of chains along Yankee Doodle.

If you’re looking for a great place to host a gathering, it doesn’t get any better than this! We walked in on a Friday night, 4 days before a last minute going away party for our daughter. We told them we wanted to host 75 people. On Tuesday night our guests had plenty of good food, a great area to congregate, a FANTASTIC server, all for just under $ 400.00. For our needs this spot deserves 5 stars!

I went there on Wednesday for line dancing and decided to grab food as well. Never again… the food part
Food: Absolutely the worst! I ordered chilli and steak. Chilli taste worst than the one from the can. Steak was alrite, but would definitely not order anything to eat here again. I rather save the $$ and head to McDonald nearby. The mixed drinks here are nice although they don’t have a menu for it so you have to know exactly what you want.
Location: it’s easy to find right of the main road. there are plenty of parking
Settings: Saloon style and tons of space for dancing.
Service: Service is poor. The girl who served me seems uninterested in being there or atleast making tips.
Price: cheap drink… will never order food no matter the price

Wow… not in a good way. I really don’t have a whole lot of positives to say about this place. We went for dinner on a Friday night thanks to a groupon we had. The service was super slow, the décor was truly that of a saloon, food was mediocre and to top it off my husband got food poisoning from the medium rare burger. It’s his own fault for ordering it medium rare in a joint like this. If you have a groupon and must go, I’m sorry. I’d suggest you try and sell it if you can.

This place has had the best pancakes I have ever eaten! Yes it does have Saloon at the end of it’s name and yes it is in Minnesota. I use to live there, before I came back home to SF. Yes, I left my heart in SF… cheesy, I know, but I really did. If you ever read my reviews you know that I don’t give out too many 5 stars, but this place deserves 5 stars. This «Saloon» seriously needs a big remodel, the porch is old and crusty, sometimes I think that the next step that I take, my foot will fall right through the wood., but don’t worry once you head inside the ground feels more stable. The only unfortunate thing about this place is that it is really smoky in there. No not food smoky, but smoking smoky. Yes Minnesota has not jumped on the bandwagon on no smoking in restaurants. So, it is still a little weird when a hostess asks smoking or non smoking? I really don’t like the smokiness of the restaurant when I am eating, but let me tell you my secret, go really early or really late, so that either, no one is smoking yet or are done smoking. You can also choose where you sit and you can sit further out onto the dance floor away from the smoke, yes they do have tables and chairs on the dance floor, don’t worry they move them when it’s dancing time. Well, let me tell you about the menu. It doesn’t look big, but for some reason there seems to be a lot of choices to choose from. I personally love their pancakes. The pancakes are large and fluffy. They give you three, but you can really only finish two. I always order the eggs over easy with ham, hash browns and wheat toast. They give you so much the meal comes on two plates! The one reason I give this place 5 stars despite the smokiness of the joint is because they are always consistent. Never have I left there thinking that the meal could have been better, NEVER! I have yet to find another breakfast place here in the city that has wowed me with their pancakes… so boo hoo for me that I can’t have anymore Stark’s breakfast… but yeah for me to be back in the city.
