Popped in for lunch after hitting the farmers market across the street. I thought it was going to be counter service with some booths(like your standard small pizza place), but it was sit down so it took a little longer than we expected. The staff was extremely nice. The décor sort of reminded me of a diner but I did love the large paintings. The menu is huge and on top of that they had quite a few specials for the day. My friend and I split one of the specials an Italian chicken panini and a cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was delicious on a toasted chewy roll. There could’ve been more meat, but I may just be greedy ;) The panini was ok. The bread was more like a pita and the chicken was kind of chunky so it kept falling out of the sandwich. The cheesesteak didn’t come with anything, the panini came with chips and some pickles. Our bill came to $ 14, which was reasonable. Overall good, but nothing mind blowing.

Great place to pick up lunch. Servers are friendly and the food is usually very good. Love the Mexican Pizza(not always on the menu) and the cheese steaks are great. Reasonably priced.

3.5 stars. Usually hit or miss with this place, except when ordering pizza. Pizza is always delicious, one of my favorites for sure. The dough is thick and delicious and the sauce of by far my favorite of any — a little sweet with an amazing blend of spices. Spaghetti is always perfect. Chicken parm dinner used to be amazing, but they changed the chicken(now it’s like one of those Wendy’s $ 1 chicken sandwiches, just covered in sauce and cheese). Salads are also hit or miss-sometimes fresh, most of the times wilted and brown. Chicken cheesesteaks and Strombolis are amazing. Prices are fair and reasonable. Wait staff is mostly polite. I would overall highly recommend this place.

Solid pies but nothing memorable. Good amount of cheese without asking and fast service.

The pizza and the food here are solidly good. Not great, but nothing disappointing. Their pizza has standard crust, standard sauce, and standard cheese. Their white pizza is quite good, with onions and garlic the primary flavors. The only downside here is the price. The quality doesn’t quite meet the slightly-higher-than-average ticke they’re charging here.

Decent food could be better though especially when it comes to consistency. Delivery is always quick and friendly. If the food was more consistent and better quality overall then it would get 5 stars. For the money and quality it’s good enough overall. It was the first place I ordered food from and was great but it has been up and down quality wise recently. I wish they would concentrate more on the products and have a little variety as well as some more home cooked/fresh food. Still recommended overall though.

I love the staff here! Prices are good too, but… This place could be soooo much more. A lot of freezer to the fryer stuff. The kitchen is open, which ain’t a good thing. Quality is iffy at times too. They have had the same specials and soups on the same days for years! Yes, Monday is always tomato soup, etc… Gave it four stars for the staff, who I have grown to love over ten + years, otherwise a 2 star place.

We used to order from here very often. Lately, however, it has been more than disappointing. It has been at least 8 months since we received a delivery that was completely accurate. Not sure what changed. And, to the earlier reviewer regarding the buffalo chicken, spot on. Ketchup has more kick. Avoid the hassle. There are many other places very close by that will not only get your order right, but it will also arrive timely and hot.

Great takeout, when you’re looking for a home-made meal. Open faced oven roasted turkey platter w/mashed potatoes and broccoli is excellent… haven’t tried the pizza or buffalo chicken steak, but will very soon.

I worked at the original Amedeo’s restaurant in King of Prussia, way back in the 80’s. That one has since evolved into a catering business — but the same family owns Amedeo’s Too. They scrupulously insist on the very best ingredients for their cheesesteaks — fresh sirloin steak sliced and chopped from the whole steaks on the premises. I should know, I did enough of it! No chintzy frozen strips or steak-umms, this is the real thing. As another reviewer mentioned, the buffalo chicken cheese-steak is out of this world, too. Altogether, this is the sine qua non of Philadelphia mom and pop(literally!) corner joints. Best of the best!

There are SOMANY pizza shops in the area that they need to stand out amongst the competition. Amedeos Too blends in. Decent cheesesteaks, but not amazing. Pizza has been a bit disappointing, but it will do in a pinch. The Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak is really BLAND. You might be impressed if you’ve never had a good Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak. No offense intended to the reviewer who loves them. Parking is a pain in the neck when it’s busy due to a small and awkward lot. To make matters worse, many of the patrons aren’t very good at parking in small, awkward lots. I’ll keep my theories on that to myself. It’s a local business with a pleasant staff with a good sense of humor, and for that reason alone I’ll keep Amedeos Too in the rotation of pizza places.

This place turns out tasty pizza. Try«the works», which comes with a crispy, healthy crust, bready, crunchy, with perfect-sized slices. Big toppings, and lots too: Black olives, mushrooms, pepperoni. Delish. Unsure if their pies were delivered(if they even do that) or picked up — an associate actually had the stuff catered to us.

It amazes me that a site as popular as Unilocal, someone hasn’t reviewed Amedeos Too restaurant. The original was in King of Prussia, but it folded to become the restaurant in the apartments up Dekalb Pike(but they still do catering). Regardless, this is a small mom & pop’ish Italian restaurant with one menu item that I get almost every day I’m out there to visit: Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak Let me tell you. If you love the taste of buffalo sauce, and the idea of it on a chicken steak, there is absolutely nothing you could eat that is better. They put on just enough sauce, and their 12″ sub will fill you up for just over $ 6. The rest of their menu is good too, but once I had this here, that’s all I could get.
