Moussaka was cold and bland obviously had been sitting in the cooler waiting to be heated… also this had to be the first time I ever left a diner without a take out container… small portions, big prices shame on you Greco-Roman diner this was my first and last time at this«diner»… oh and a side note our waitress had the personality of a bar rag… I guess this would explain an empty house at 6:30 on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend

Room was beautiful with a working fireplace. The table was set elegantly. Our server was helpful with the menu and our selections were delicious. We will definitely go back.

By far the best meal in Norristown. Huge portions, everything delicious. Owner is awesome and gracious. Service is always good and friendly. This place should be packed but usually has light attendance. I think that’s because most people don’t know about it. Never had a bad meal here. Blows away all other dining options in that area.

We went to the life music night, and we have a blast. Best calamares we have ever eaten.

I finally stopped at Greco roman for lunch on this beautiful Friday afternoon! I got a Greek salad with gyro meat and it was HUGE it would feed two people. The meal was very good and I also got baklava and ekmek, they were both homemade and tasted amazing! I will be back!

Great place for a quick dinner with the kids any weeknight or weekend! We usually order some items from the Greek menu choices and some from their standard cheesesteaks and pasta. It is always good and very fresh! Most nights, the chef/owner comes to check on us and say hello. Wait staff, especially Judy, makes you feel like family! Greco Roman is our go-to local spot!

Stopped for a light dinner on a Friday night. Just a few people, steady take out traffic. Diner décor, but lots of nice murals. Not sure what’s going on here, but the menu was a little pricey except for my BLT, $ 4.75 for the best one I’ve had anywhere, with fries. Bacon was warm and perfectly crisp. Perfect toast, perfect proportions. Decent tomatoes for the time of year. Partner’s pizza steak was OK. Complaint was that it was a little dry. He likes them with a little grease. So if you like them lean, it was good. The roll was toasted, which I think was a nice touch. The rest of the plates we saw pass by were loaded and most of the other diners were taking leftovers home. I got a good vibe. We’ll probably stop in again if we are in the neighborhood. Will let you know what happens next time.

I went to this restaurant the other night. All I can say is that it was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had. The staff were completely incompetent and rude, I should have just got up and left at this point. Once I finally got to order it took forever to get my dinner. After I got my dinner it was lukewarm at best and I said something to the waitress who basically acted as if I were bothering her. The best part is that after all this and I finally began eating I saw what looked like a ROACH crawling out from under one of the tables adjacent to me. I ended up speaking to one of the owners, Mario, who tried to give me every excuse under the sun as to what happened and what I saw. His wife then came over and started basically yelling at me. She was the most rude and inconsiderate person I have EVER met. Stay FAR away from this place, who knows what kind of diseases are roaming around that kitchen and its staff!!!

Over cooked roast beef… dry chicken… frozen mini eclairs… unmixed Caesar salad… very disappointing

The Greco-Roman is a hidden gem in West Norriton! We love the Greek and Italian offerings and(tasty cheesesteaks). Normally, I order the fresh fish of the day for dinner. Other times, I’ll order the the calamari(fried or grilled) with grilled vegetables. The food is delicious and always fresh. We love the order ahead option dining for lunch when dining in. The food is ready upon arrival with less time waiting. Some of my favorites, the anchovies with grilled pita, greek salad with feta cheese, grilled eggplant, grilled chicken, penne vodka, all amazing!

Definitely my go-to place for dinner, at least 3 times a month. Excellent food, good service, reasonable prices, great menu selection. I tend towards the greek selections, chicken souvlaki(kebabs), gigantes(lima beans in tomato sauce), and especially, octopus. No one does octopus like they do in the Philadelphia area– large grilled pieces in olive oil and herbs. Grilled vegetables make a great compliment to my meal. For more familiar fare, the cheesesteaks are loaded and savory(especially with peppers and onions) — hits the spot! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It seems there are a lot of regular customers. Lot’s of choices! Of course I’l go back, i’ve been going back for a few years now.

Yummy. Came here with a dear old friend I hadn’t seen in about 15 years. Needless to say, we talked nonstop and didn’t follow the traditional pacing of looking at the menu and ordering. Service was great — the waiter let us take our time, from about 6:30 to 9:30pm — greatly appreciated! Greek salad was tasty with kalamata olives and plenty of salty feta. Calamari as a starter came grilled instead of fried(our choice) and was not overcooked and rubbery, but tender with a nice spice. Wish it would have been a little hotter temperature, though. We both had the Greek platters — he the pork souvlaki and I had the gyro. Nice tzatziki and soft warm pita. Love the BYOB. A great place away from the chain restaurants of KoP.

Ordered delivery. It was very prompt. We ordered the spanakopita, moussaka, special steak calzone(asked for no pepperoni, substituted extra steak). Everything was delicious and very filling. I only wish I found this place sooner! Price is not bad at all, even if you order an entrée(which comes with soup/salad, dinner roll, etc) Will order here again. Looking forward to dining in before I move.

Would have been an easy A+ but there were hard, dry chunks in the pasta. Otherwise, delicious food, calm atmosphere, and friendly service!

Love, love, LOVED Greco Roman! Our server was wonderful and everything came out exactly as we ordered it… I had the Chicken A La Greco which I thought was fabulous — nothing too fancy but it totally worked — just juicy bits of grilled chicken with penne pasta, garlic and feta cheese… Can’t wait to recreate that one at home! I was excited to discover that you can choose a Greek salad with your entrée rather than the usual mundane side salad… Yum! We had warm pita bread with olives and feta cheese for an appetizer — they give you a really big piece of feta so we were able to take a nice chunk of it home with us. My husband enjoyed his gyro platter and my daughters enjoyed their pasta dishes(gnocchi and spaghetti)… The only thing that struck me odd about the place was that they serve butter with the complimentary bread they give you — not that there is anything wrong with butter by any means, but it seems to me that it should be served with olive oil, being as it IS an Italian/Greek place!!!

the BFF has been loving on this place for some time, and I was really excited to try it out. I love Greek food and it’s very hard to find in this area. the restaurant itself feels like a diner. we went for an early bird dinner, since I was dining with the BFF and her adorable toddler. the restaurant felt very sparse this early, with hardly any other diners at the beginning and no music til we got our food. there was literally no ambience; but if the food delivered, who cared? The food definitely delivered. the menu has a nice assortment, and a lot more Greek options than a typical diner that simply serves a gyro and maybe a spanakopita. I chose the pastitsio, kind of like a Greek lasagna bit with tube pasta and a thick bechamel on top. it was very good, and huge. the pasta was perfect for me as I like it well done, but if you prefer al dente it might not be for you. I also stole a bite of my friend’s pork souvlaki sandwich — very tender and flavorful and an absolute steal under 8 bucks. I would definitely return to this place, but only for sandwiches or with a groupon. the food is good, but the lack of ambience and friendly service makes it hard to pay 15 bucks for an entrée.

Food here is mediocre to good, depending on the day, and what you order. I take my(now adult) kids here from time to time. It is a BYOB which I like. I have not been disappointed by anything I have ever gotten here, except the seafood platter, which was over cooked. My daughter got the chicken marsala. Unfortunately she compares it to mine(and mine is very tasty). The marsala sauce was tasty, but the chicken had a very thick coating of flour. This gave a a sticky, doughy texture to the dish. I think the flavor overall is good, but they need to skip the thick coating, and just dust the chicken to make it have a brown crispy coating. I had the grilled salmon. It was tasty. And I liked the grilled broccoli. It gives it a better taste, and it was not over cooked. 3 stars. it is usually good, but not Wow. And I’ll be back.

I purchased a Groupon for this restaurant. It’s right down the street, but I’ve never been there. They serve both Greek and Italian cuisine. I was not disappointed. I took my 3 year old daughter and 16 year old sister and we were all pleased. It’s a BYOB, so that’s great. I didn’t bring a bottle given my dining companions, but I want to go back with friends and bring a couple bottles. They give you freshly baked bread. Delish. The toddler had the kids ravioli. She inhaled them. My only complaint was the portion was a bit small. If a 3 year old can gobble it down, imagine a 10 year old. I would order the adult portion next time and bring home the leftovers. My sister ordered the stuffed shells. She loved them and almost devoured the whole place. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki platter. The chicken was tender and the tzatziki sauce was unbelievable. The service was great. My sister thought the server was a cutie and we even went back a week later without a Groupon. It’s hard to find a restaurant that pleases all three ages groups. We were all happy with the food and are certainly adding this location into our rotation.
