The waitress walked by me for about 30 minutes before I decided to approach the bar to get a menu. After getting my own menu (which was a packet of papers stapled) I sat for another 15 minutes before she approached me.
So — service gets close to zero stars. The bartender actually helped me and was very nice and actually apologized for the server.
Food was ok. Nothing indigenous to St. Louis on the menu and nothing out of the ordinary in terms of uniqueness.
If your stuck in the hotel and have no other choice — then Malones fits the bill for a meal. Nothing special — although nothing terrible either.

Henderson, NV
I was told this was an «Irish Bar», as the name with the shamrock would suggest…
But, other than Guinness on tap, which was poured perfectly, there is nothing «Irish» about this bar.
That being said.
This is a great place for drinks and bar food.
They have an OK tap, would actually like to see local craft beers, but their bottle selection looked great.
I had the rack of Baby Back Ribs, which was very good.
And, talking to patrons around me, their food was also great…
I heard a lot of great remarks about the ½ burgers.
The service was very good, there was a server covering everything but the bar & a bartender. They seemed to work well together getting drinks and food out quickly.
Over all, a great place to eat and drink, inside the Holiday Inn.

We were staying at the hotel attached to the restaurant, and decided to give this place a shot for dinner. Pretty much standard bar menu with sandwiches, salads, chicken. My wife asked the bartender/​waiter, Nick, what was good. He replied «the chef made me a hamburger yesterday that was fantastic but it’s not on the menu. He’ll make you one though, if you want.» He called it a «Cortez Burger» (the chef’s name is Cortez). My wife and I split one, and devoured it. It was fantastic. I thought it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. This Cortez guy knows what he’s doing, and my guess is, he won’t be in Malone’s for long. If you’re in the St. Louis area, I’d urge you to try one. Wish I lived closer than 300 miles away.

Ordered a chicken quesadilla for carry out. They got everything in my order correct along with the extras. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the waitress. Don’t really have a complaint. I have been here before for a happy hour. The drink prices were great for the happy hour and the manager carried over the happy hour prices for our small group until 10pm. I would return.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn– that’s the only reason we ate here. THE. ONLY. REASON. Service was horrible, we waited at the host stand while three (3!) employees stood watching us. We later learned one was a manager because he took our drink orders. We had to wait for a bottle of Budweiser on a Friday night because they were just getting ready to stock the bar. On a Friday night. That speaks volumes for the business they do if they can stock on a Friday night. My steak was cold, but server never came back around to check, so I couldn’t tell her. The salad was lettuce directly out of a bag and I don’t think it was washed because it had that plastic flavor. The server then just brought the check without asking if we wanted more to drink or dessert. I guess she thought we were done! Take some advice, stay at the Holiday Inn Earth City, but go to Jack in the Box adjacent to the parking lot for your dinner!

Staying in the Holiday Inn attached to this bar and restaurant. I had the ribeye with green beans, rice pilaf, and house salad. The steak wasn’t too bad considering the price, but I likely would order it again. The green beans were from a can, but were ok quality and had been seasoned with bacon and black pepper so I liked them. The rice pilaf was good also. The house salad was simple but all the ingredients were fresh and crisp! Ate at the bar. The service from the lady working behind the was friendly and fast! If steak had been a little better, the might have earned another star.
