This place was so gross. Dirty floors, dirty workers, filthy bathrooms. I left immediately.

What a nice find and very unexpected! We have drove by this place a million times and finally decided to stop in. It’s your typical local bar, nothing fancy when you walk in the doors. The bartender who greeted us as we walked in was very friendly. Explained to us the good draft beer was inside but we could take it out to their patio… Their patio! You walk out the doors and head to the back and it’s like a whole different world! It’s a huge outside patio with a whole bar out there and a brick oven to make pizzas! There were 4 of us, between the 4 of us we ordered a white pizza, cheese and pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza and a bacon jam burger. Everything was excellent! The service was also good, considering she was the outside bartender and she was also taking care of all her bar patrons as well. We will definitely be back.

One of the diviest dives in the U.S. If you can handle the bathroom’s cloth towel machine that hasn’t been changed since the mid-80s, this bar is great! Not sure I would eat the food, but it’s a great, cheap spot for drinks. I’m sure this place has been here forever, but I just discovered it on my last trip to Buffalo! While the outdoor area –called the Grove/Tiki Bar– is great, I’m partial to the seedy inside bar. Its got a pool table, dart board, juke box and Megatouch(with my fav Little Shop of Treasures game). I loved the Labatt Shandy, offered in the summer, which go down so easy! If you are looking for a casual spot for some drinks, this place is worth checking out! The outside bar closes around 11 or midnight, so come early if you want to enjoy a drink by the fire pit.

Especially in the summer, Stockman’s is a fantastic place to hang out. with the whole family. Watch for a day when there’s live music at the Tiki Bar and Picnic Grove, located on the five acres behind the main bar(which is in a great old house). This past Sunday, they had Black Rock Zydeco – fun music! The place was packed with folks of all ages. Kids were playing in a sprinkler that was set up for them and the tiki bar was full(but service was still good); other folks were chilling out at umbrella tables or finding shade under huge weeping willows. There are even horseshoe pits. It’s a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.(I’m not always a big mingler, but I actually met new people here!) To top it off, they have great food. I recommend the brick-oven fired pizza, made to order for you at their outdoor pizza bar/oven. Lots of VEGETARIAN options – but I had them throw on everything but the meat($ 12) and it was delicious. I can’t think of a single thing I’d change about it.
