For the past 15+ years I had been cutting my own hair. I gave CJ a shot and he’s been my guy for the past year, probably 10 cuts worth. I go often as I love the straight razor edge up, the atmosphere, the conversation, and the hospitality that Wendy and CJ always bring to the experience. Big bonus points for trimming my beard into something wonderful. Call ahead, spots full up quickly now that word has gotten out on this gem!

I’ve had the same haircut for years and wanted to change it up. I didn’t trust Supercuts or Mastercuts to give me any help in changing styles, so I looked elsewhere. I live right in East Aurora and saw the sign for Andrews. He has nothing but rave reviews so I decided to check it out.
In this case, believe the hype. He gave me an idea for a new style that I was all for. He and his wife were friendly and great to talk to. Before I knew it I had a completely new hair style that I couldn’t be happier with.
After a straight razor shave, I was on my way home. I’ve never had a specific place I get my hair cut at let alone a barber, but after today, I do.

My go-​to guy for hair cuts. CJ knows how to fit a cut to your look if you want to do something different with your mop. He’s also supportive of Village endeavors, which is a plus up too. Make an appointment, as he’s a busy guy, which reflects greatly on his abilities. My son will only go to him… voted best hair in high school! Cheers.

I have had my hair cut by a family member most of my life. Since her lifestyle got crazy hectic, and the other lives 30 minutes away, it was time to find barbershop…
Nervously I looked at Google and saw the reviews for CJ’s place… so I gave it a shot today. I was a walk in and CJ was 3 deep and the new barber he hired was open… so after threatening his life, I gave him a shot: D
The conversation was second only to the cut I received… great job, guys! Oh, and Wendy too! So sweet!

CJ is the real deal. I always end up going at random times and normally on Saturday so the wait can be a bit long. To be completely honest though, it adds to the experience. The conversation is always good and it reminds me of the old days when I was very young and my mother used to take me to Burns in the Plaza and you’d always see the same old guys hanging out watching the news, reading the paper and shooting the shit. I could see myself being that old guy here!

My husband has been looking for a good barber for years. He found one. He spoke very highly of his experience with CJ. He was very pleased with the cut and the conversation. In fact he made sure to tell me that I should go on Unilocal and give him a great review! We would highly recommend him.

East Aurora needs a good Barber shop and Andrews is making a great start. CJ is very easy going, conversational, and is very personable but more importantly he gives a great cut. Once he moves up onto Main St. he will really have a great place to relax, have decent conversation and be seen!
