If you’re looking for a great outdoor rink, this rink in East Aurora is worth checking out!
The rink is actually the one used in the Buffalo Winter Classic NHL game that was held at Ralph Wilson stadium. After the winter classic, it was moved to the village of East Aurora. They have public skate times daily, and offer both figure and hockey skates for rental. They also have walkers for those who aren’t quite so savvy on skates. :)
There are snacks available for purchase and an igloo in which you can put on your skates or warm up.
While this is an outdoor rink, it does have a cover over it so if it snows, the rink is still clear.
Please note though: this is a cash only deal, so plan ahead!
