If the décor doesn’t bring you back for more then it has to be the waitress’s, Oh! and of course The food. Our waitress was Tee-riffic. She gave to My Brother and I a pretty good break down of just about everything in the menu. My Brother had a everything omelet and I had the Texas french toast with a slight sprinkle of cinnamon which I could not taste at all. How ever my brother’s portion looked big enough to feed a family of three. Even though I was warned about how large the order of Texas french toast is going to be, I still said,“Bring it Onnnn!”. Unfortunately my eyes were much bigger then my stomach and I could not finish my breakfast For as good as it was. The only thing that I could not understand was that if you wanted to order potatoes with your omelets or anything else for that matter, You had to pay an additional .50 cents which did not seem to bother my little Brother at all. Another thing that we both agreed on was the coffee was actually good tasting, not burnt or scraped off the bottom of the coffee pot, where we both have experienced at other places in our travels. But the one thing we enjoyed was our waitress, Full of spirit. We sense that she honestly enjoyed her job which now a days is a very rare commodity to come across. I for one can honestly say, I will be back for the food and the Great Hospitality. I Raise My Cup to You Cheers!

I love going to the Iron kettle. The best breakfast, lunch and home made dinners! My favorites are the iron kettle special breakfast and Greek salad. They have fresh pastry daily and nice nacks you can also buy. The cutest restaurant around. I highly recommend!

SOMANYWAFFLEOPTIONS. It is waffle heaven if you are a guru like I am. I went with the Nutella and strawberry waffle(which was a great choice by me). So freaking yummy. Although, they went a bit Nutella crazy and loaded it on there. I ended up scooping some onto my Dad’s pancakes. My Dad got the Iron Kettle Special and that had pancakes, ham, eggs, cinnamon raisin toast and home fries. It looked super good. My step-mom got eggs, homemade hash and sunflower bread, which was also super yummy(I ate some of her bread). It was all pretty cheap. It’s a seat yourself place, and they were very attentive with refilling my coffee and my water, which, my hungover ass greatly appreciated. They were pretty busy and they still managed to get everything out super quickly. This place is in East Aurora, so it is quite the drive to get here if you don’t live out here. It’s nice to get away from the usual places though! X’s and O’s! J

I went there for lunch and had had some mixed views. I ordered the French Onion Soup and it had some flaws. Personally, I thought that it was to oily and the bread was to hard for my taste. Then for lunch I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, which for the most part was good, even if I did find a chicken bone in it. However the highlight was the dessert, I got their cherry pie with some ice cream. That pie was awesome, it wasn’t too tart or sweet. I would definitely go back there for a slice of pie, or buy a whole pie and take it home.

After my third visit to the Iron Kettle in as many years, I have a new-found appreciation for this spot. As a kid, I thought only old people at here — not true. It’s the smart people, too. The menu is vast(you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner at 11 a.m. on a Sunday — in addition to the breakfast buffet), with at least 12 specials on the white board yesterday — and the service is first-rate. Prepare to wait in line for a table at peak hours.

There might be a trailer park behind Iron Kettle, but there is no greasy trailer park diner food to be found here. You will immediately feel at ease when you walk into this cozy, small converted home. Your mouth will also start to water as your nose starts to sniff the breakfast aromas coming out of the kitchen nearby. You can opt to sit inside or out, and on a weekend morning be prepared to wait a bit. The breakfast menu features typical American country home cooking, with many options to select from(and yes, the portions are large). The food is extremely fresh, especially the delicious squeezed OJ that came in my large mimosa served in a glass tumbler with straw(that is a mimosa first). Our party of four enjoyed all the food, the standouts were the homemade hash and home fries. This place really knows how to cook up some mean potato dishes. The service was incredibly friendly and fast.

Great, fresh food and the service is always top notch… and they have the best potato pancakes, German Potato salad, and homemade pies that will make you all warm and fuzzy inside! Fish is off the chain as are the good!

My hubby and I decided to try some place new this cold Saturday morning and we are so glad we picked this lovely little secret in East Aurora. It’s very small, and quaint. Maybe 15 tables tops! I would describe it as delicious country home cooking. Our breakfast was Delish! The iron kettle breakfast was so large, and the homemade hash was really tasty. Service — also top notch. Be sure to check it out.

Great place! Wanted to explore a new place & this was a great choice. Good set up & felt like home. Meal sizes were huge compared to prices. One thing we realized after we ordered were the specials that were listed. We wish we looked at those first. However now we know we want to go back again!

My family and I went here for Fish Fry Friday(my own term) and we were all pleased. I appreciated the option for a small or large fry, but I really didn’t observe that much of a size difference. The small was substantial, the large generous. I ordered a small one and still took half of it home, but I’m weird. We had a group of varying ages spanning over 50 years and we all enjoyed ourselves. My fish fry was fresh and flavorful with a nice, crisp bold batter. Fries were good. Next time I’m in East Aurora I would certainty go there again.

The Iron Kettle is my grandmother’s favorite restaurant in the East Aurora area. With that being said, I will say this this place certainly does appeal to an elderly crowd. They know good food! We come here often for lunch and sometimes dinner. The prices are excellent and the food is always good. At my last visit, I ordered the«Sandwich and Soup and Salad Bar» from the lunch menu. I can’t remember the price off the top of my head, but it’s definitely a great value. They had two different kinds of soup: beef barley(which was out of this world!) and chicken noodle. The salad bar is very basic but does the trick. They also have garlic bread at the salad bar and a few additional items besides just lettuce and toppings(I think they had cottage cheese or something like that and I know they had Jardinera). For dressings, they had Italian, Ranch, & French. I ordered the French Dip for my sandwich. It was perfect. Yum! I would definitely order it again. I’ve had the grilled cheese with bacon & tomato before and that was good too. Our servers are always really friendly and patient. This place is a nice place to meet up with friends or family for lunch or dinner. Good food, great service, reasonable prices. They were also very accommodating with my messy 1-year old and my 6 month old nephew!

Foods pretty good with daily specials that can be real good. Portion sizes are decent and price is fair.
